Is Goose the only cat? I agree though, there should definitely be a 5* Moose!

Boosted ascended Nico, boosted Hela, and 4* doom are fun this week. Downing somebody with specials out, then downing the doombot lets Hela’s passive double dip, so a standard fight becomes a wave node.

Black and red need AP cost lowered and threshold for the green passive lowered, green active cost is probably fine. Maybe some boost in the numbers for powers and then obviously health and match damage increases and she'd probably be good.

Its not terrible, its just really bad.
Her kit is DOA in the current game, and even when she was released she wasn't good. She needs a minor redesign, but her design around strikes.

Yeah and maybe combine Carol's red with hers. Immediately puts 4 strikes out and a fortified 1 turn repeater that puts out more, always prioritizing replacing enemy sap tiles. It should be easy for the MCU Hela to fill the board with strikes.

Ohhh and a Asgard support that could go on any Asgardian but have a bonus perk for her that she uses her red at battle start but after enemy team does their start of battle stuff, looking at you BRB and R&G. And since the supports have gotten pretty convoluted it could have special perks for all the Asgardians. Automatically make half Thor half health. Loki fires his shadow play. Heimdall could fire blue or yellow. Odin could... well Odin doesn't really do anything lol.

Odin needs to have Gwenom’s 0 match damage passive so he always dips to the back when you have enough fortifications out. Maybe not 0 match damage, but go invisible or some other status that puts him in the back so that his jump in front actually works. Anyway Nico is really doing all the work on that Hela team since she is adding 2250 or so to every special, every turn, and Hela is only adding 978 each or so. It would be good if one of those characters could get some specials out quicker as well. But the doom/Hela gimmick I remain proud of lol.

This may work better than the original Charlie's Angels:
Ascended 4 Prof X w Black Widow's Batons to make purple strongest
3 Black Widow with Quantum Realm to generate purple at start
1 Star Storm Ascended to 5 star with Atlantis to generate green at startSometimes I go winfinite on turn one even with Black Widow at only level 300. Storm's green and yellow along with black widow's red give great board manipulation.

Sersi/Ascended 4* Nightcrawler/Ascended 4* professor x is another variant on this. Basically remove some non-purple, non-green with Sersi, then chase any color you want prioritizing purple and green. Alternatively replace Sersi with Domino, ascended or otherwise, and just go after black after you get enough purple to bamf.

Sinister/Blob (Ascended)/Multiple Man (Ascended, but might be better as a 4*): There’s no real point to this team other than I like all of their abilities, individually, and wanted to see how they work as a unit. Turns out (with supports), much better than expected!
Sinister is crazy good now post-rework and with the Tinkerer Support, the team starts with a defensive cushion. Until Blob starts tanking, Sinister’s trap tiles trigger often. Blob’s damage mitigation and jump in front mechanic helps to not immediately deplete black AP, but he can slow down Sinister’s trap tile creation a bit by taking just -1 damage. Ideally, you make a few early matches with Sinister to get traps on the board.
I don’t recall where, but someone here (shout out) mentioned that Multiple Man’s dupe tiles are really SAP tiles in disguise. One cool interaction with Blob is that Blob converts dupes tile to his corresponding SAP tile countdown effect when it gets to the bottom of the board. Unless the enemy team is using a SAP tile debuffer, MM’s dupe tiles become fodder for Blob to munch on.
MM’s dupe tiles also trigger the effects of Sinister’s trap tiles when they land on one, so there are a lot of unpredictable hits of damage with this team. I like to put green supports on MM and Blob to guarantee strike tile creation and prioritize early matches for Sinister. Multiple Man doesn’t need to be ascended for the team to work and his win mechanic increases to 48 dupe tiles as a 5* (which is never happening in my MMR), so it might be better to have him as a 4*.

@IrisRyu That sounds awesome! I was talking about Blob's crazy passive the other day, but I didn't even think about Madrox's secret SAP power with him!

Also, Moondragon/MM/Blob is fun if you run Moondragon 5/3/5. Moondragon gets a match damage boost from the SAP dupe tiles and gives an outlet for purple and yellow. You don’t want Madrox’s trap tiles in the bottom rows and her red helps clear them if they’re preventing Blob from doing his thing.

Anyone run into the max-champ boosted M'Baku team? The player runs them with 3May4. You have, at most, two turns to stun M'Baku or you are DEAD. He's my next ascension target, I think. A good cascade for the AI and you're dead turn one.
Just for fun, I attacked them twice. Won once and was incinerated the second time. It was fun trying.
Credit to entrail: You warned us about M'Baku.

He's a nightmare. I fought a guy with a 550 in sim a few times -- if you don't have a stun (and oh by the way, he's immune to stun at 40% health), or Kang or something similar, he's basically unkillable. The more you hurt him, the less damage he takes and the more damage he does.

Tried about a handful of times, even with stockpile and +2 red/yellow for ghostpool abyssal blades. Would make an opening red match and my stunner is immediately downed. Entire health pool in 1 shot. Not even mad, it's honestly impressive.

You downed me in one move...

So is mbaku like gladiator thor in that you want to take him into battle already below half health?

I went after him with Polaris and BRB with +4 blue. One good match on turn 1, and not being downed by the AI turn, and I stun locked M'Baku and won.
The other match, he downed Bill and had Polaris on life support turn 1 with match DMG. So, yeah. Lost that one badly.
We might need a more impressive match damage negater than the ones we already have in order to deal with him boosted.
