I feel that Ronaldo is still a little banged up...I don't expect him to do much against Germany. Foul him and early and often and he gets off his game. Shame that Mario Gomez wasn't fit for the Germans, he is a fun player to watch.

Ghana worries me, they seem to have USA's number. I am hoping for a US 2-1 win today.

I read all that's been posted, and I come give my opinion as a Brasilian player....

First of all, there was no penalty to score when Fred fell down. It was a mistake.

Brasil didn't play well. I think the favs are Netherlands and Germany, and I think Belgium might be a surprise. Still waiting for another Italy game before I issue an opinion.

I wonder who the hell sent European teams to play in Manaus and the like. The weather is absurdly humid and hot. I myself can't stand it.

Tomorrow Brasil will play. I think we'll win that game, but I don't think we'll take the cup.

I shouldn't be, but I'm surprised there wasn't a little more talk/discussion on the US game. I thought it was pretty exciting despite US playing very poorly for about the whole 2nd half and probably even a good chunk of the 1st. Obviously a positive result, and given the state of the Portugal team, things are looking up. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, plenty of great futbol to watch between now and then.

my stream went down so I gave up after 20 minutes and went to bed. Missed all three games yesterday. saw the highlights today. The first goal from the US guy is impressive! and Pepe was an idiot, I hope his countrymen give him more stick for that stupidity.
