  • And how many of them? From what I see, many people here had Rag for much longer than one week.

More than you think. Scan the forums. More than 15 posts that I saw described people buying covers and maxing out rags within the last week. And that's just from the few posts that I saw. I'm sure there are tons of people who aren't posting that had the same problem. It was wrong to do this to paying players. Now what characters do I level up? Some may just change next week! I have no clue! It obviously didn't affect you.
  • Yup, it didn't affect me, since I put HP only in cover slots (I doubt they plan to nerf cover slots) and I prefer to find interesting strategies instead of "Rag only and forever".
And I don't put my monies in "pay 2 win" options, sounds too similar to drugs for me.
  • Can you imagine being someone who isn't on the forums? You just open up your game and now your Rags you've worked so hard for is so much worse. They must think it's a bug.

You don't pay money and still like the game, Congratulations. People that pay money shouldn't be punished. If there weren't people paying money on this game guess what they would stop making changes and it would die. Players need other players to pay money so the developers will continue making changes and new additions to the game.
  • I feel really bad for BigMao who spent $100 usd the morning of for covers then to have that hero's expectation changed under his feet. I feel frustrated at the entire ordeal but especially feel bad for him.
  • Honestly, I never feel bad for people that spend hundreds of dollars on digital 'goods'. They were going to spend that money on some other nonsense if it wasn't this.

Digital goods can be valuable, I'm sure all of us have paid for software at some point. There's no need to feel bad for me, seeing that $100 isn't such a high price to pay for a lesson.

If you take this to court it will still stand...a transaction is still a transaction either for goods or services and a legally binding action. If you buy a video game off of Steam and instead of Metal Gear Solid you received Plants Vs. Zombies...wouldn't you be peeved?
  • What about people who spent $100 on tokens and got a bunch of Bag-Mans and Hawkeyes? Nerfed Rags is still much better than either of those.
  • I think there is a gulf of disparity between buying a full-fledged game that had tens of thousands of man hours poured into creating it versus buying a digital hat, trinket, armor for your digital pet or a static comic book character with variable stats.

It's still lost money and crushed expectation, so we feel bad for you. On other hand, it was for luxury item, not last moneys for ticket to home or food, so don't feel too bad, it really could be worse icon_e_wink.gif
    Much worse, eh.
  • The issue is the value of each transaction and the assumption of goods received/lack of information. In each case it doesn't matter if D3 put in 2 hours or 200 hours as that is information that doesn't matter for this particular case. What does matter is a consumer knowingly purchased with an understanding of receive a specific purchased product only to have that removed and switched after the fact.

You go an buy an apple and then halfway home it turns into an orange. Oranges are delicious but it isn't what you bought and they make lousy pies.

Wow go find another bridge to troll under
  • Troll? What troll? Do you think losing 100$ on game is worst thing to happen? Seriously?

There are far worse things. You can develop cancer, you can find yourself out of a job, you...GEFPenst may find that you have an incurable disease that will slowly cause you to be immobile and die. yes, there will always be worse but if you want to theorycraft with extremes I suggest opening a new thread just for that as debating in those conditions will only make you either look like a troll or push people to extremes of arguments making them not worth arguing to any validity.

Everything is relative! Is it Cancer? Stumped toe? It's a person spending a lot of money on something that wasn't what he originally paid for. And I don't care how much you make that is ****. And your "tough luck" attitude shows a complete lack of empathy.

I certainly agree that we should keep our perspective, this is a game and not real life. I'm lucky I had $100 to spend on this game, though it is still a significant purchase for me, and I could have saved it or spent it on other stuff.

Keeping all of this in mind, I felt short-changed because the unannounced nerf invalidated my purchase, and I know I'm not alone. We're all here to have fun, but this is also a place where the developers / publishers can hear our concerns when we're dissatisfied. If the developers don't respond, it's not the end of the world, but I'll still be disappointed and I won't pay them more money.

Dude, do you have some vendetta against me, or what? Did I insult you in any way? Did you not see that I agree that he was ripped by this nerf, or what? I just wanted to cheer him up by saying that losing 100$ on game (and he still hasn't lost them completely, mind you) is least painful of possible ways to get important lesson/
My examples based on my own experience, firsthand. And even they are pretty painless compared to some other examples in this life.

Ragnarok is the way of an over-power it is true.
Outcome was determined exile and depending on who starts writing skills for the first time with a head for redirection not the red somehow resources if you meet the specific

But elemental damage with low levels that do not appear to be 3star nerf character becomes too badly is low, damage of skill is low, I became very carry overall.

Normally supposed translation correct? Google Translator strange, is not it?

Maybe you should just post in the original language and see if someone can translate for you
