It’s also flattering that most countries teach English as a second language.

Blame the normans. And the catholic church. English is a Germanic language with an almost complete second vocabulary bolted on from Latin. . .twice! Plus some stuff borrowed from the celts.

And then some poncey aristos with too much free time in the 19th century tried to retroactively make up a comprehensive set of grammar rules for the whole mess.

I can confirm the above. The demands for blue tribute continue. I was able to complete the 6th quandary from yesterday "posthumously" today, in the same match where I completed today's 5th one. This was the first one I was unable to complete within the initial 24-hour period.

Make 15 Purple matches. - 1500 Iso
Send allies airborne 6 times. - 600 Iso
Remove 60 Green tiles. - 6000 Iso
Down an enemy 35 times. - 3500 Iso
Remove 160 Red tiles. - 16000 Iso
Remove 260 Blue tiles. - 26000 Iso

I always forget about Iceman, thanks. I was running Sersi and Nightcrawler and was looking for a 3rd.

Does anyone know if there is an updated battery/tile creator list anywhere?

The only ones I’ve ever seen are pretty outdated.

That's of the most interest.
And without any doubt there are some sure English Language Knights in the forum.
However don't forget this is a global game.

Though I am from the United States. I grew up speaking a broken English filled with misuse of words, word substitutions that weren't words at all, and local colloquialisms from multiple languages.

I'm from Louisiana, a thick Cajun accent was heavily present in my family, and it wasn't until I left home at 18 that I discovered no one outside of my family/community could consistently understand what I was saying. Not being understood is very frustrating and this led me to feel...... Uneducated is the best word I can think of at the moment.

I greatly valued the English language knights who corrected me and helped me learn to articulate and communicate better.

I also appreciated the efforts of those who corrected my attempts at French, Arabic, German, Korean, and Spanish at different points of my life while visiting other countries. I'm not fluent in those languages but needed basic lessons to communicate and tried my best.

The above is my experience and isn't meant to invalidate anyone elses feelings.

It can be incredibly frustrating when you know someone understands what you meant, but they correct you anyway. Especially when you are communicating on a non-native language.

Those corrections aren't always meant to be negative though, as some offer corrections with the intent of being helpful.

I don't think Quandary did damage to any languages, but the event has tested our ability to communicate with others when we disagree, or lack understanding of each other's perspective.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised by the number of people that have been supportive of opinions that differ from their own when it comes to this event. Discussion of ideas with those that disagree is the only way any group can move forward in a way that promotes positive growth.

Honestly, I commend the devs for trying something new... They even made small tweaks to things along the way, which gives me hope they've learned lessons that will help them create something better next time they try something new.

Forgot about Ragnarok, too.

If you've got it, 5* Mags Blue, it is super helpful on all the colour challenges. He can clear 2 colours off the board leaving the rest for crazy cascades. Coupled with the likes of 4* Riri, Rags, Sersei, 5* Storm, 5* Witch, 3* KK, 3* Cyclops, 3* IF (Have we had black yet?), Nightcrawler, 4* Prof X, 3* Black Widow, you can get winfinites / mass matches going easily
