    IMO, It's worth getting just for the 5* champ rewards. Even for a total newbie player. PvE would become super easy. And once it's 550, sell it and remove yourself from the mmr it might have caused. No idea how 550 works, but I'm guessing it's not a point of no return. All this would require a little bit of extra knowledge about how things work, though...

    Really? How do I send a ticket?? Never done that before I don't think

    I haven't managed to generate a token for it yet, used ascended Medusa, 1Spidey, and Storm.

    Ya I got mine and recruited him good.

    @Markot go to the settings gear from the main screen and click on "help," then in the top right is a "contact us" option.

    Matchmaking doesn't work like this -- 550 is indeed a hard break, but there are several softer breaks beforehand, as well as different degrees in between.

    Yes they would. But matchmaking isn't an on/off switch (550/no 550), it's a continuum. So as the player moved from 450 to 550 they'd see increasingly difficult opponents, to prevent them from beating up on weaker players.

    Gotta love how consistent the new devs are in releasing features absolutely riddled with bugs. What are we up to with these ascended characters? 5? 6?

    A few interesting scaling things I found so far:

    1. Ascended 2>3* Thor yellow power at 5 covers does twice the damage of the 3* Thor yellow at the same lvl.

    2. Lvl 166 ascended 2>3* Magneto red power does half of lvl 144 2* Magneto red at 5 covers.

    I know it is early, but seeing all of these numbers…reading these posts…is making me feel like this came out of the oven too soon. I like the enthusiasm and am always a fan of bold attempts, so props to the devs on that.

    Makes you wonder if they test these things at all before their release. So many of the issues are blatantly obvious. It's not as if they could've missed them.

    They have taken a very straightforward fun game and made it overly complex. I can't think of anyone on this forum / DIscord / Reddit / Facebook ever asking for anything like Ascension. It is way too complicated and, as we have seen, riddled with bugs on rollout.

    I’m still trying to figure out what the point is now of 3/5 stars with the exact same powers? Are they just 1200hp costumes? Somebody with an ascended 3Omega Red and higher than 450 Omega, let me know….thanks.

    That's just how scaling works. Higher star ranks are always weaker at the same level, but have higher match damage. The power damage ramps up faster though. This is why the lower stars feel more powerful when everything is boosted to 550 for balance of power.

    It just seems like maybe the ramp is different for ascended champs though, like maybe it is starting at the base level for a 5* even though you actually start at level 450, at 550 you end up in the same place, so every level is more important.... maybe it's just me, but it kind of feels that way.

    The 3*s are actually more powerful at 550.... so it's like a boost, lol

    A question to the developers:

    lets say in a PVE or PVP you have a required 3 stars character in a PVP or PVE slot, if the required 3 star has been ascended to a 4 or 5 star, can it sill compete as the primary 3 star character?

    Example in a pve slot it is required you have a 3 star magneto, lets say you only have a 4 star ascended(3 star) magneto, can you still participate?
