As others have said - good idea, badly executed.
Pros - nice variety of quests encouraging varied use of a number of characters. The rewards are as high as we've seen from quests so definitely a decent carrot.
Cons - Timing sucks - would make more sense to have active when GOTG are boosted and featured in events also. Starting while a Boss event is on and there's a day break in PVE is just ****. It's just super grindy and encouraging a weird play style. They should either have reduced the overall count required or made all quests in a tier active at one time so you're not limited to this painful match 1 color thing at 1 time.

I was wondering why I was seeing so many random unboosted 5* Star lord and adam warlock in beast pvp. Guess people are grinding out these tasks.

I don't know how anyone is expected to finish these without re-playing the puzzle nodes to death. Was that really the intention, here? It's wild to me they would think we would find that remotely enjoyable.
"You know what our players might find fun? Grinding the same puzzle node 350 times to fire powers for no reason other than to fire them."

It's not worth the effort to do Guardians quest for little rewards and puzzle ops for dupes.. I rather take a break than grind for little rewards

We don't know about BCS (maybe someone can ask in the Q&A), but Demiurge developers did all play the game. Only one or two ever reached the 5* tier. Most of them would reset their accounts once they started accumulating 4*, because they were focused on the user experience at lower tiers of the game.

This is just the type of challenge I've been hoping they would add to the game.
I'm going to make some effort to reach as many milestones as possible, but I won't stress out if it's not possible to finish.
The game can be played as if these new milestones did not exist and then any rewards earned will just be gravy over standard rewards. Nothing is being taken away, only added.
Unlike schedule changes there would appear to be little if any effect on alliances and their leadership. (Unless I've missed something.)
Losing a match doesn't hurt as much to me if it still allowed me to further a milestone objective. It doesn't feel like I completely wasted my time on that match.
It may have increased the variety of teams available for matchmaking. If one Guardian has displaced one Chasm, that's progress in my eyes.
Finishing all the milestones would be nice, but I'm satisfied with the challenge of seeing how far I can get.

Having gone through a bunch of the Tier 3 ones today, it's feeling like Puzzle Gauntlet V2. You have to be selective with your team choice to help quickly fire some of the powers. Using C&D for black to fire Yondu's power, TA Hulk for green for Rocket etc
Thankfully Puzzle Gauntlet exists as the large health pools and bonus color drops makes some of the quests a little easier.

4* players are going to be using Rocket and Groot/Polaris in pve. 5* players will be more likely to use Hulkoye, Shang/America or BRB/Polaris.
@Punter1 I've been using Jane Thor, 5* Storm (3/5/5) plus the GOTG character that a mission is for. It really only sucked for 4* Star Lord because he was tanking purple.

So i spent the better part of my 1 day off farming this.
For getting wins its easy just hit the first pve node. Using boosts is easy.
The other stuff is a pain in the butt. It will be worse later when puzzle gauntlet dissapears this week.
I take colossus and sersi into the first node of puzzle gauntlet and they generally let me get everything done "fairly" quickly. In tier 3 for Drax I was getting his destroy ability off many times and getting 10-20 destroyed tiles per match. Mantis getting 10+ overshares each time.
Really though, if you reallistically want to complete through tier 4 you will want to do it BEFORE puzzle gauntlet finishes. Otherwise you are going to just get boned with health pack usage.

I do hope there's some Guardian PVPs lined up (wouldn't the what's new thread be great...).
Otherwise the deal 6 million damage quest will require a lot of people Climbing with Starlord in PVP, bless them.1 -
After grinding away at the same puzzle nodes all weekend I finally managed to finish tier 1, and rushed to the oh-so-special vault with my shiny new hard won token. What did I get? That's right...the useless 3* costume 🤬😭
Tier 2 looks ever so slightly easier (more tasks running parallel) so will struggle with it a bit more. I really need all the iso I can scrape together and any non-costume option from the vault would make me very happy, especially the 5* stuff.
I really hope there will be other ways to earn more tokens to that vault. I don't have the specific 5* powers, so I won't be able to complete tier 4, and I really don't want more costumes but knowing my luck that's probably all I'd get if I were able to complete tier 2 and 3.
Fingers crossed that they'll run special events with those tokens as rewards. The vault is open for like 20 days, and the milestone quests are only 12 days... it would be nice if such info would be included in that promised Gotg schedule yet to appear.0 -
Tier 2 did not have to be gated behind Tier 1, all colours should have been available at the start so the match tile quests can be done together with the use power ones. I really hope that the reason they made the requirements so high is because they released it early and didn't want people to finish it in a few days and get bored.
I'm still hopeful that there will be special events released next week when the movie premieres to make these more achievable. Otherwise they really should consider slashing the numbers in half after one week so most people can catch up.

So, I consider myself a high-end player (not top-tier, not bragging - just saying I got the roster to "easily" do this).
I was down with the flu the weekend so I grinded the quests.
I tracked my time.
It took me about 13 hours non-stop gameplay to finish about 80% of all 4 tiers. It is agonizingly slow. I however need the ISO desperately, and it was dangles in front of my face...
But as mentioned a few times: The quest conditions should stack, all at once. No reason to do multiple "do 100x of $color/$power/$matches". And if we didnt have gauntlet running in parallel, even grinding all of pve it would be nearly impossible to finish the quests in time. If the devs played the game they would see doing 100x of a coloured match actually takes like 30-40 minutes. The numbers may look good on technical paper, but in reality this is too painful.
The quests themselves are cool to have, don't get me wrong. Please choose the time requirements more realistic, and make the quests fit the given pve/boss/pvp schedule. Thanks!

Tier 1 is 15 vs missions Tier 2 is 25 and Tier 3 is 30.
You can just retreat, you don't have to win these fights.
