    Glad I grinded all power firing quests in Puzzle Gauntlet. The sane way to get through the quests was to treat them like PG V2 and optimize teams to assist with the grind one at a time. It did feel like a few days of playing a different game, which was good (mostly kinda!)

    I'm glad I didn't grind puzzle gauntlet as that did not sound fun and doing the power firing quests (only on tier 3 so far, don't know what the tier 4 ones will be like) in PvE at least means I'm working towards the PvE progression rewards at the same time. Besides, using Yondu, Star-Lord and Mantis was a lot of fun. They work well together.

    I found 5* Storm very helpful with her yellow and even her green. That also meant I didn't need to bring 5* Wanda every match.

    When I saw this thread had blown up, I assumed it had devolved into a "nerf Chasm" debate.

    Oh you want to talk about Chasm? Its almost like the group of people posting in the forums have moved on...but if you want to talk about it...here we go.

    Thank you for the young comment! That makes me feel better! Also I have beer now. And my wife says no more MPQ today. I will not dream of Drax.

    So you want to do it quickly without resets. Without puzzle gauntlet you will be in and out using health packs and the like while trying to fire a power.

    Right now the grind will be longer for you, but I hope you can finish it quickly and I wish you the best

    Honestly the challenge made for a refreshing change that made PvE feel less getting than usual.

    Still got 7 days to go and I'm half way through tier 3. I get that tier 4 will be tougher so I may not get through all of them, but I'll give it a good attempt.

    To be clear, I definitely do agree with everyone saying that this could have been done better. They certainly should have:
    1. Given us some Guardians PvPs.
    2. Boosted the Guardians from the start.
    3. Made all of the quests in a tier available at once.

    it seems like many didn't use nightcrawler for this task. it wasn't hard if you had him, 3scarlet and GOTG.

    also, did everyone actually play the pvp to win? you know that wasn't necessary, you can enter the match and retreat. complete all 35 pvp in under 10min.

    Yup, I used Nightcrawler a bunch. On the one PG node with additional purple drops i did the match 100 purple very quick. Also helped with Adam Warlock and St4rlord power quests that needed purple

    LRs made the PVP easy, some match wins and some retreats just to get through and on to the later quests.

    Tier 4 observations

    17 quests! And I am ashamed to admit that yes I started up on this at 5.30am. It is now 6.27am and well, I don't know where the hell I am with this stupid thing.

    Whereas the tier 3 Guardians were very useless, having a god boosted Adam is actually making this harder. These damned ninjas are too fragile. I can't Skein fast enough or laser them before Adam has already murdered them like the great big shiny gonk he is.

    Why do we have to match all the colours again? I already did that! Am I stuck in an episode of Sesame Street?!?

    There is something strange going on. Why aren't my Alliance members asking for team ups? I can think of only 2 reasons

    1. Do they secretly meet up when I am sleeping and exchange team ups without me?
    2. Am I hallucinating the team up quest?

    I seem to have reached the paranoia stage of this now, that is normal right?

    Tier 1 - hated only being able to match one colour at a time
    Tier 2 - can't remember, blitzed through this quickly
    Tier 3 - its like puzzle quest, which I thoroughly enjoy. Actually thinking about team choice in order to generate the appropriate AP to fire the required powers

    Still got tier 4 to do, and there has been a lot of PVE grinding which if I was a competitive placement player then I could see that would be an issue.

    I hope we get more fire X power Y times as general milestones. Gives a reason to use different characters and they can be completely optional for those players who don't want to join in

    Hopefully there will be more to come, with a few bits corrected to make the experience better - mainly quests running simultaneously
