* Juggernaut (Classic) *

People are complaining about facing a level 125 Juggs/Ares/Moonstone? I'd love to face that! I took out the level 230 guys with a 82 Patch/75 Cl Mags/60 Spidey. Controlled the board and got a load of blue to stunlock them, then took out Ares first. Lost Patch when I lost control of the board and Juggs headbutted him into next week. Got control back and stunlocked them again, getting rid of Juggs first, then Moonstone. Certainly not a quick match when the most damage I can do in one hit is about 4k with Mags' Magnetic Translocation, and Juggs has 18k health, but with patience I was able to get the win and the rather measly 1k reward.0

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSuvOVH0aSQ I think the devs had this in mind when they made a lvl 123 juggs0

I am in awe of how powerful a C Storm/MN Magneto team is. Purple generates blue, blue stuns and hits all. Red generates everything. Green generates everything. This team has worked well for me with mooks and dark avengers alike. I'm trying to find a good third, but Thor sounds good (yellow -> green).0

What levels were your Moonstone/Ares/Juggernaut at?
The one before the final mission was at level 189, with the final mission at level 206.0 -
Oh it gets better at lvl 230, juggs is abt 19k health and there is nearly 45k total health. Its doable but tough. If you get a bad board or cascade, game over. Retreat if you have too and try again.0

Spidey, venom, MN mags. MN mags feeds spidey blue, stun all build black eat juggs....repeat for ares and moonstone.0

...feels like what it must be like to fight the real (well, comics-real) Juggernaut. Beatable, sure, but he slightest error or a lack of stunning skills means instant death from his Headbutt. It feels appropriate, and yet I hate the coin-flip chance of victory he brings to these PvE events. What a monster at high levels.0

i haven't faced him at 230.....yet but at lvl 100 he takes out my storm with one shot0

Gosh, Im currently honestly just asecond away from giving up
How do u guys fight those Jugg/Hood/whatever Teams?
Jug simply 1hits everything except punisher and Hood steals whatever AP I might have
With the new boots I just have nothing to start of with to boost purple for my OBW and I dont have spiderman...
What can I do? ;___;
Help would really be awesome0 -
When going against juggie it is often necessary to deny red. He only needs 6, but if you can stop that from happening, you should be okay. You can also bring a stunner just in case. If jug and rag are on the same team, if you can stun jug for a couple of turns, there is a good chance rag will use thunderclap instead of jug headbutting.
The hood is an odd char to fight. Keep in mind he only steals ap in certain conditions. I often find myself counting tiles to figure out if moves are beneficial. Best advice: Hood's health is bad, kill him first. Stun him whenever possible. Keep a constant eye on your enemies ap.
If you follow these pieces of advice, both these guys are beatable, even together.0 -
Just denying red isn't enough imho. With his green skill, he can easily get a lucky red match.0

The entry fight had jugs, I just kept stealing the reds with OBW while punisher used all his arsenal on the team.
Tried the hood fight once that without jugs requiring captain. Mine is not much help lvl20. Hosed with the board, hood kept stealing all my green so by the time I finished him my team was a goner. Will give it another try eventually
Should have retreated really after a few turns.
My general suggestion is like that, go in without boosts, as soon as you see no hope retreat without downs, heal up in prologue, repeat. Especially don't pack AP for the hood fight just to get stolen, unless you use it immediately.0 -

Are the boosts inadequate or unavailable? It took me two days of Lightning Rounds to unlock them through PVP, but it works.0 -
If I see them get six red and a stun isn't ready, I retreat and heal up. If you can't set up to stun or steal AP before he gets six red (or an Ares gets six green) you might as well reset and try again0

Won after a few retreats... With patch/psylocke/cpt.
Captain actually helped! Again the board was tk, one big blue sea -- and I eventually realized from flashing that captain has 12 for stun. So he held hood down for several times 2 turns while he eventually snuffed. Was completely hosed on black mana that would have made it a ride.
Then kept moonstone stunned hoping the AI will sue red on thunderclap -- didn't happen while I offered patch.
After some time I just got back the 10 blue without reserve and used it on bewilder hoping to grab that 10 red stock. Again didn't happen, it got used almost immediately on P. Then I got 10 yellows opponents most useless color.
Then I realized -- again from flashing that my now 20 yellows are good for captain's hidden ability, so he summoned me 3x100 shields.
While moonstone eventually died but rags kept his cycle going and going and going picking up new ammo from cascades, killed psylocke and patch came back from few hundred HP while captain tanked for him O,O. But eventually I won.
So the 22lvl captain made his worth after all. (guess I'd be better off with free choice of bringing spiderman instead or obw.0 -
If Juggernaut is paired with Ragnarok, Thunderclap has priority over Headbutt.
I actually beat the entry fight with Juggernaut sitting on 8 or so red the whole time because Moonstone's Photon Blast has priority.0 -

I remember one time in Simulator I got destroyed by Level 230 Threatens, so I healed, swapped in Loki, and hit the node again. This time, AI ONLY used X-Force's regen. Pretty sweet.0
