But yeah, at 15 AP, you're pretty much only going to get that 3 tile thing going off with an enemy spidey also putting webs out (or I guess venom).
And yeah, if yellow still eats the webs, you actually don't want to use it, with how expensive they now are0 -
As long as Spidey can completely lock out one character, he will still have value.

Just glanced over Spidey. I approve. They still make him perma-nerf able but you can't throw him into any lineup now. you have to try to pair him or protect him to get his stun off. 5 ap is still really fast. Consider that C.Mags is 5 Blue for his semi-infinite blue combo. Tbh though, I think the wording is funky and I'm a little confused (please take note devs) but once used in practice...it'll probably make more sense.
I like the heal, it feels more consistent.0 -
thanks for the obw comparison. I wanted to figure out what the difference for prologue healing would be. Prologue healing is weakened, but isn't killed as much as one time in game healing is killed.
I think the blue is a little much personally. +6 turns of stun for 15 ap, I would prefer 1* black widow. Given spidey was the inky real stunner in the game in the 3*** range, can we assume you guys are moving away from stunning as an ability? Did you think it was too op?
Not sure why the purple nerf though. Base 20 def tiles? That's pretty useless given that now it will be nearly impossible for the ai to get more than 2 webs on the board anymore.
While I personally have no li e lost for spidey, this is a very hard nerf, and I do expect outrage. More importantly..I am now really worried for mags as every single charactee so far who has seen a nerf has been.nerfed down multiple.tiers.of.usefulness.
@iceIX .....can we please get that xforce buff? There have been multiple.character changes before even a mention of him. At least an update or something? Is there stuff even on the drawing board?0 -

wow his rework is horrible. They nerfed ALL 3 SKILLS?? Are you serious? I think his yellow was a bit much and yes his blue was very good at 2 ap.
But to more than double the cost of blue, take away more than 50% in purple tiles strength and then change yellow's effectiveness by 80%. This is not really a nerf at all. Its a complete character gutting. When I heard a nerf was coming for spiderman I figured this company would be smart enough to balance around his abilities. not just massively change the values to all of his abilities.
Wow I just dont get it. Rather than buff other characters they continue to nerf characters. Its not worth putting any money into this game with massive changes like this.

I like the changes, he doesn't quite break the game anymore in terms of easily allowing players to get around needing to buy healthpacks. you can still use him to prologue heal but it will take 2-3 matches to fully heal some characters.
ideally we don't need to use prologue healing and players just play less because they don't want to burn through health packs. It will be interesting to see if this really happens. I think it will mostly affect PvE in that we are expected to take damage every round, so in order to keep pace you have to either prologue heal after every match, burn 2 (or more) health packs every match or not do full clears in one sitting. I guess you could also drive your levels up to 400...
After this change if you are a prologue healer, you will need to do 2-3 prologue heals between each match. adding to the current PvE pain everyone is having.
Maybe scores will go down but I just don't see that happening. This is a much needed change but PvE needs a lot of work in order to make it feel fun in this new world.0 -
Overall this is a great change. it doesn't take away from his core which is stun/heal/protect. he just doesn't do it with steroids now, I mean, steroids are illegal. So bad parker, bad!
I probably won't be rushing for a 141 5/5/3 spidey anytime soon but eventually. I think he's still key in locking down PVE opponents.

It was bound to happen. They already said that 5 would be the minimum AP usage cost. So 5 makes sense. And his healing is better at lower levels and not as ridiculous at high levels...so it mediumed.
alright, the purple change was odd. but eh. i'm not a big fan of protect tiles to begin witih.
So...it WILL happen again, everything under 5 will get changed to 5 at least. So C. mags can see the same change.0 -
I guess this change makes C.Storms blue a 28 AP ability now. :lol
