Reality Stone Season Updates (5/1/18)

So....more of the same old pvp with the same old 3* characters using thorbit teams to fight other thorbit teams in a banal struggle. I don't see how this infinity stone news will motivate anyone to play more pvp.

While I'm having fun progressing through the 4* tier, I feel like since I have most of the best current ones, I only am trying to collect a lot of covers I'll rarely use. I only use maybe a dozen characters as it is. 

It will take me a long time of 2* and eventually 3* farming and grinding the same old events to get within sniffing distance of the true 5* experience. Being able to really use supports to impact my play looks like just as grueling of a grind. 

It's been a fun year and I've given my money to the cause, but I definitely don't see as much fun in the long term, and plenty of other options for my daily commute and couch time. I guess I'll see just how much longer I enjoy the grind.

What in the world is going on there in regards to decisions like this.  Supports were exciting when first announced because they offered another aspect of the game that allowed you to focus on new things and play around with them.  Plus with the license we get to see a lot of Marvel lore that would otherwise go untouched. 

Now completely lost interest.  This is just mind boggling.

These are a waste of space.  Only 0.1% of people can earn an infinity stone?  And in CL9 it’s not even a 5* one?  

You should be be able to earn 1* ones for t50 at the very least.

i guess this continues season rewards being a total joke.

Top 1 over the season gets a reward that can't be used in the PVP events that contribute towards the reward.  Makes sense.

I can't see the sell button on my Supports.  Is that a bug?

So if I got this right, even if I score 20k+ for the season......nevermind, so disappointed. Thanks for adding new content that like 15 people are going to get and nobody else will ever get. Let's spend all this time on this new content, ignore all the other problems for those 15 people. Heck while you're at it. Why don't you make an awesome game mode for those 15 people and post it on latest news. So very sad.

I'm looking forward to earning my infinity stone! If you're wondering where I am in PvP, I'll be waiting to join SCL1 in the last 30 seconds of the last PvP event. Only three seed nodes later, and the stone will be mine. Catch you guys on the flippity flip!

So to get an item that can only be used in pve you have to place high in PVP? How does this make any sense?

Wow, I was expecting something like a 2* or 3* Infinity Stone support for the top 100 alliances. That's giving it out to 2000 players. One per bracket is a far cry from that.

I give as much benefit of the doubt to the devs as anyone on the forums, but this is pretty horrible implementation. My initial reaction is to look for the Strike Force download button, as the reviews I've seen look pretty good.

Jeez, I didn't think I'd be *angry* about a new feature being added to the game.

This whole thing has been so horrendously mis-handled that I feel like ignoring supports purely out of spite. I now completely do not care about supports at all. I could be given evert 5* support tomorrow and I wouldn't even bother linking them to a character.

I wasn't even this annoyed when true healing went away. I wasn't this annoyed when the entire 3* roster was nerfed and we heard nothing about th issue for a month.

The sheer waste of time and resources on this non-entity of a feature just staggers me. I don't want to be that non-constructive, negative guy but I half wish they'd just remove the entire feature, compensate everyone with a heroic 10-pack for wasting our time and go back to the drawing board to make something else instead.

If they wanted to make the Infinity Stones this rare, they should have gone all the way. Award only ONE of each Infinity Stone in the entire game. Then institute real-time PVP matches, and you have to win it from whoever has it. Then it'd be like the real Marvel universe.

1 in 2000 is seriously not that far off this.

EDIT: And if someone gets all 6 stones, they can delete half the player base.

I really couldn't care less about the availability of supports and the ridiculously low possibility of winning an Infinity Stone (I'm not even sure what they do in MPQ).

All I was hoping for was news on Gambit being rebalanced, given that on Monday a new 5* will be released into Latest Legends pack who due to colour clashes is irrelevant before release.

The continued inaction on this front is fast eroding any faith I still have in the direction this game is going and has already surpassed the goodwill generated by tapping being ended.
