Any game that puts you at the extreme disadvantage that World Breaker does, is cheating. PERIOD. Name any other game where your opponent starts with that kind of advantage and it's considered fair. 300 plus health is 3 times a much as any of my PWs. Cascades that run so long I was able to take a leak and get something to eat before it was done. Not to mention able to heal 30 plus points during those cascades. I've spent more time deck building than actually playing the game. World Breaker is proof people get paid to be imbeciles.

Whoah that's some extreme language.  You are correct that World Breaker is an incredibly difficult fight, however I wouldn't go that far with it.  I mean, in legacy the player can do stupid amounts of damage extremely quickly if you so choose (if you're new, don't worry!  You'll get there eventually!).

I mean, I beat it no problem using mostly Zendikar and Origins cards anyway (Gid Z ally deck for the win!)
Personally I find the Kozilek fight much harder

Pftt. It's _meant_ to be a hard fight that you need to try over and over and maybe not even win the first time you do the event. That's the _point_, not a problem at all. You're expectations were just wrong, that's all. The hard fights are NOT meant to be doable by everyone, not even in other events, but DEFINITELY not without many many retries and failures.

I wonder how he'd feel about the original Bolas boss or Azors Gateway?

I wanted to name every tinykitty I could think of in those fights lol

My favorite hardest enemy was ToZ 3.1, the guy with the most insane speed aggro deck I've ever faced.
    Want to see him again!

got enough into the new event where I decided trying to play with the sound on.

    Don't

    Do

    It

loops the same sound effect 20 times every turn, the most obnoxious audio experience I've ever had playing an app game ever.  lol.

Hasn't it always been like that?  I never really play with the sound on, but I remember immediately hating it the couple times I've tried it

I think it's just in general, not pertaining to anything new.  I'm going to keep the sound off for pretty much forever now

The Beta is not a Beta. It's Priority access.
They are still testing things in the main release instead of sandboxed like we were promised. I am furious.

What do you mean?  Only the people selected for Beta have access to the event, cards, or walkers.  The only thing everyone else can see is the cards, and that makes sense so they don't get super confused in legacy events.

Unless this is referencing some programming thing that I don't understand, then please explain

Betas are usually done using separate apps. What was _expected_ was a rock solid 2.9 standard version that ONLY had the normal stability and bug fixes and improvements and then a separate 2.9b app only downloadable by Beta people that added Duel Deck cards and PWs on top of the 2.9 build, these would then be tested completely separately and only when things were guaranteed to be balanced and bug free would they then release a standara 2.91 or even 3.0 version to _everyone_ and that would be the very first that anyone not in the beta would see the cards or the updated walker.

But because that wasn't done there are bugs to normal events and cards due to changes made for Duel Decks and also the Beta PWs are playable in the wild even though they are meant to still being beta-tested. Effectively people have early access, it's not a Beta because it's affecting the standard game.

Ah, that makes a lot of sense.  Definitely should have been done like that.

I can't seem to find the card bug area on this forum.    Just wish this place was more user  friendly.

Go to categories in the top right of the page and then scroll to the bottom. It should be under bugs and technical issues.

    • "The player's hand will no longer contain seven or more cards, when activating an ability that moves a card to the player's hand while the player's hand is full." ....Whoa. This is a pretty big change, and a significant nerf to some cards (Chaos Wand comes to mind, Etali too, but I'm pretty sure there are a bunch of others). Are all such effects simply going to fail when a player's hand is full? Is Etali going to go back to sticking cards on the top my deck like it used to? (Please no!)
    Me: Please no!
    Oktagon: OH YES!

Also, add Djinn of Wishes to the list of cards that are seriously nerfed by this change. I had only gotten him a couple days before the 2.9 patch. :(

Bonus freebie rant: Apparently they already ran the first beta test of the new event! Wouldn't know it by me, because even though I got the email saying I'd been accepted in, never even saw a trace of it in-game.

wait so is Etali doing "top of deck only now?"  I've been noticing that recently, but thought it might be a glitch

I really hate how the forums have been lately. All the bikering back and forth about the recent exploit. D3 just is watching players make jabs at each other (of course never naming people, but jabs en masse - which is even worse), arguing over morality and the correctness of actions. In the meantime the bug has been fixed and cheaters were punished - as announced days ago. Yet the stupidity of the arguments continue.

This forum community feels like a Facebook argument about politics and frankly is so wrong. This place should be a place of constructive thinking, deck building, how to better use cards, a place for new and old players alike to help one another, share fun experiences, etc. But all I see now is senseless arguing among the player base about morals and legal lingo.

I wish the relevant threads were shut down and deleted from the forums.

Please guys - let’s all move on. It’s a tiny-kitty game after all...
