    Less a steamy rant, more of a... thought

    Garruk decks scare me these days. If I encounter someone running Garruk, 90% of the time, that deck is stacked and it's going to hurt.

    The most common Garruk deck I'm encountering runs the same 8 cards.
    - Ghalta
    - Kamahl's Druidic Vow
    - Vivien's Invocation
    - Thunderherd Migration
    - Zendikar's Roil
    - Path to Discovery
    - Gather the Pack
    - Nissa's Revelation

    The other 2 are generally Growing Rites of Itlimoc and some form of support destruction.

    The deck just runs rampant.

    Sooo many cards are bugged and broke.....firesong..,,,.molten vortex.....

    Even Planeswalkers....Vraksa's first ability......Sarkhan second ability doesnt trigger destroy effects on your own creatures.

    The AI cheats and ignore 4's and 5's and takes 3's that cascade.

    When the AI is losing it always cascades just enough to fill up a card.

    I've been a big Garruk player since he first came out, and run a deck very similar to that.  Don't have Vivien's Invocation yet (I'd debate it's one of the top green cards in standard at the moment, basically the younger brother of Deploy), but I'm really excited to get my hands on it.

    Unfortunately I haven't faced a single Garruk since...Kaladesh?  But I bet if I faced as many as you say you have, I'd probably have a similar perspective on the matter

    At least 2 a day in TG. Generally another 2 or 3 in AXLN if it's Green or All Colors.

    I'm starting to see him more than I am Bolas.

    Anywho, I've given up on M19 packs. I stopped at 10. I've got 6/25 Mythics and 14/40 Rares.

    2 of the Mythics were from the monthly super pack, one is Dragon's Hoard, and one is from a 400 pink pack. So only 2 from the PP's.

    I've duped 6 of the 14 rares at least twice, One with the Machine 3 times, and Lathliss 4 times. Dupes happen, I don't like them, but I'm generally okay with them when they are rare or below. Just... not at that rate with that few of them in my collection.

    that sounds like a rough patch, my sympathies friend.

    I'm lucky that I felt pretty meh about the m19 set in general, so I've gotten maaaybe 3 PPs since the set came out. 

    Yeah I basically have no m19, but rarely do I find myself at a disadvantage because of it.

    Opened 2 Dominaria premium 5x packs.  1st set had all dupes, no rares or mythic dupes, btw.  The guaranteed rare was new thankfully.  

    Second Pack, ALL DUPES, including the guaranteed rare...   WT-TINYKITTIE

    I was going to support with some real cash, but with these drop rates.... why.

    I opened a RIX and did get a mythic lol.   Not a good one, but at least I didn't get a dupe.  Back to grinding!

    so angry didn't know about m19 and used all my orbs.  No heads up to the update at all, thought we had at least a few more weeks.

    *flips a table*
    *pulls out hair*
    *kicks a chair*
    *slams a door, then opens it to slam it again*
    *knocks over a cup of water*
    *pulls a leaf off of a plant*
    *flips room lights on and off until gets a headache*
    *takes an angry nap*

    Think of it like this:  You prevented yourself from buying overpriced mythics.

    Unless you wanted to craft DOM.  That would suck.

    I was saving for the rares of m19, particularly the green Invocation that's basically a lesser Deploy the Gatewatch with perks.  I had enough orbs to take a decent shot at getting the card.  Now...notsomuch

    I faced the same deck in the mid-week coalition event.  I had full health on my turn, Greg had an empty board, and killed me on his turn.  I cast Dowsing Dagger going for the destroy "x" creature objective, triggering Path to Discovery, triggering Zendikar's Roil (on my turn) which gave Greg an instant speed creature.  Greg then went nuts and killed me that same turn.  It brought back old school Baral nightmares.

    Unbelievable that they haven't fixed that zoom bug. Talk about dragging their feet.

    I'm tired of losing matches due to bugs. 

    Namely the disable support bug. Support is destroyed its effect is suppose to end but if it is the AIs support disabling my creatures it last forever... this bug needs to be fixed. Cost me what would of been a perfect clear on the HoD event in the node with 3+ supports and 3- spells objectives. I had a Blood Baron that was up to 14/14 and Resplendent Angel at a 15/15, no other creatures. Opponent gets out the disable support from DOM that can disable two if you have a historic card. I had a Dragon's Hoard (playing with Gideon1). My turn starts and two gems beside their support convert to white destroying the support and giving me the mana from the match but my creatures remained disabled for the rest of the match.

    @jimpark this is an old bug. Watch out for the top of the hour!!

    however yesterday my Ipad chosen to crash the app - as in complete shutdown - during deck creation. Haven’t seen that one before.  :/
