OSCORP HEROIC - MAY 8-14

@daveomite not sure where you are right now, but I managed to climb from 50++ to 11 after grinding the essential nodes around 3 times. I can go up to #5 if I did 3 non-essential nodes, but I guess I'll leave it for tomorrow (before the end). How do you fare?0

My nodes seem to be restacked again for the most part, about to make another clear of at least the essentials. Probably do two or three passes as well. Currently about 3,500 back from first in 108th place.0 -

All the nodes that opened up in the main bracket are repeatable. Essentially the main bracket has become the sub for the last 36 hours of the event
Wait, once all 4 prizes are claimed for each node, it gets the green checkmark and is no longer playable, correct?
(I've never been hoping so much for a 20 ISO prize in all my playing as I have in this PvE.)0 -

You can repeat nodes with a green check mark. You can't repeat nodes with a red check mark. All the green check mark means is that you won't get any more "good" rewards from further repeats of that node.0 -

Incorrect. It stay playable you just ALWAYS get the 20 ISO prize0 -
Anyone know what the point values are for the Alliance cover reward cut off zone?0

Great, it's finally the last day of the event. After being dumped in an 8k hole on the first day thanks to the developers, I finished top 10 and top 5 on my subs and am currently in rank 157 and only 5k off the lead! Will my friendly-time-zone-end-time advantage be able to wipe out my unlucky-caught-in-points-nerf disadvantage? I can't wait to find out!0

I'm in exactly the same boat. I was 8000 down on the dot at "The Change." I've finished top 5 and top 2 in my two subs, and yet was still 7800 down after the second sub. I was 4000 off the lead this morning. Waiting for my last refreshes to come up. I'm somewhere between 100 and 150.0 -
I started in a bracket where none of the players have the benefit of the extra points early on and some of the guys sure looks like they've a lead equal to one refresh worth of points (3000+).
While there's obviously some problem with how the event started, I think people are underestimating how much more the guys that lead your bracket are grinding and thus able to build a lead with the new weaker rubberbanding. My bracket started after the points nerf, and whoever is currently #1 has a point that looks awfully close to the guys who started with double points.0 -

Some of us are definitely on the gap, though. I started, did the three essentials, had dinner, and came back to find all the point values had crashed. I've been about the same distance behind the whole event, and it immediately boxed me out of the top 30. This will be the first PVE in ages I don't get the multiple-3* covers rewards tier. We can time the change pretty closely (it was around 6:30-7:00 EDT), and I started playing right around then.0 -

I acknowledge there are problems with how the event started, but I'm seeing people build up incredible leads even in brackets that clearly started after the point value went down, so I don't think you can blame everything on just that. Between the uncertain finishing times for the 2 sub events and the general weaker rubberbanding, it is quite possible to face a seemingly insurmountable lead. Of course being on the gap isn't going to help at all, but in my bracket that started after the points nerf, there are still people building a seemingly insurmountable lead without the need for double points.0 -
So. I just checked my nodes and "Imposters Assemble" is at 211 for me. Everything else is 70-100, with "Time for some answers" at 142. I get the scaling for the latter one, but Imposters? How? Does it have this absurd level of scaling for everyone?0

Interesting scaling you got there.0 -
My lazy daken node is 274... it went up from 240 in 13 hours of me not playing it - which means that it's thanks to all the people who are winning this node - I actually have no chance to defeat it now with 89 3/3/3 Patch (which is the highest level character from my playable roster this event)
I seriously think that if they gave each node some box saying:
Base level: x
Community scaling: +y
Personal scaling: +z
Current level: x+y+z
I would be feeling at least a bit less helpless and could also check when my gameplay is incorrect (ie - when the "z" component would rise after a match ;>)0 -

For what it's worth, almost nobody beat that node either on the first Heroic Oscorp until the levels was manually decreased. That node is just meant to be insanely hard.0 -

Interesting would be one way of putting it... if it had stayed that way!
Actually I just looked again and it's down to 128, which seems about right. I know I wasn't mistaken earlier, I checked it three times. Must have been a glitch.0 -
I haven't seen Lazy Daken (level 158) do a single thing yet. Both times I've competed that node I've had Patch one shot him. I wish I had a boosted Patch all the time...
I'm setting myself up for punishment tonight, I'm going to grind everything down to nothingness.0
