I was able to jump back in the game. But I also ignored it during the TG PVP. I ended up grinding my way up to just over 13k pts(#3 Ranking). I was only 100 pts away from #2 and like 300 pts from #1.

So the devs passed up another easy chance to fix this mess. They could also have set rubberbanding for this sub to global main bracket leader, which they clearly haven't done.

My main is okay (leader is 15k, I'm 3k behind) so I'll see if I can do better with my refreshes but I'm not really great at this PvE thing.

What are you guys doing now? Focusing on a few nodes emptying all the stacks or going through everything a couple times? Bear in mind my roster is not great but I'm not getting my **** kicked by scaling so far (Rampage got to 150 at the end of the last sub I believe) so I might be able to grind a bit if needed.

Worked my way up to top 50 in my sub, still only 80 or so in my main. I probably could have picked up another 4-500 points but I didn't want to grind down nodes that were worth less than 200 points. I'm sure scaling will kill me at some point. No one is catching the leaders of my main bracket. The top 5 has more than a 1k lead over the rest of top 10, and I'm still 3k down.

On the positive side, my top 50 token gave me a blue spidey putting me at 2/2/1.

So I got top 50 in the first sub, I'm still 5,000 points behind the leader in the main bracket and my highest ranked node in this new sub is 200 points. So when exactly does this rubber banding kick in to allow me to catch up after the increased score debacle????

In the main, I'm 26th in the rankings with 12374 points, a little under 4000 points behind the leader. All I care about is staying close and getting some Daken covers.

I got people with almost 16K point in my main bracket that started long after the points have been nerfed.

Factoring in that missing the last refresh may have a significant impact, I'm guessing the initial lead got trimmed down to about 500-1000 points range, which is about the same as simply missing the last refresh since it's awfully hard to predict when the sub bracket ends.

I'm one of those caught in the (almost) worst-case scenario in terms of my main - I started the sub, did the three essentials, had dinner, and came back to find the scores had crashed. I suspect top 30 is completely out of reach; the highest place I've been able to reach is about 70-something. Admittedly, if I grinded a lot harder - keeping in mind I'm already grinding more than twice as much as I do on a normal PVE - I might be able to go a bit higher, but I value keeping my mmr low over getting three Daken covers. This will be the first PVE in ages I'm not top 20; I orient my entire roster around PVE, and like it (still) a lot more than PVP, so it's fairly annoying. Especially with PVP getting worse faster than PVE is.

I'm glad this is happening with LazyDaken,and not a character I care about, at least. If I wasn't 100% certain he'll be required for essential nodes in the next few PVEs, I"d consider just skipping him.

That would be because the final round (Osborne's Tower) is played on the main map, where the rubberband IS based off the global leader score. You can already see the rubberband forming on the few low-level nodes that are open on the main map (assuming you didn't already clear them out). Be patient on this one. Given the timing to clear the first sub, we are looking at 36-48 hours of high point nodes on the main map if you consider what is currently open on the map to the be lowest point nodes in the main event.

I've been trying to figure it out between Patch, Storm, Thor, and MN Mags. I just like having Mag's purple power to make crit tiles. I'd say the overload of blue is nice, but then I'm just stuck with his blue power.

I have a max'd 3/5/5 Thor, a 1/2/5 50 Patch (Gotta love always getting yellow covers. ) and max'd 5/5/3 M Storm. I'll have to try out that group. And I'll have to work on Lvling up my Patch... and hopefully getting more green and Red covers. What is the best build for Patch? I like healing every turn, but the amount is just too insignificant to keep his yellow at 5.

535 there are better reds out there with characters you can team him up with

Hmm... so I've gotten a couple different suggestions for what to do with Patch. Hopefully I can actually GET the covers for him to be able to have to worry about this.

And thanks to whoever suggested Patch, Thor, and Storm for this event. The team's been working out REALLY well since I started using them. And I've been focusing on leveling up Patch, so he's healing for a little more. It'll just be better when/if I can get him high enough leveled that the Red and Yellow tiles are his and not Thor's. But with Thor maxed, I doubt it'll happen during this event.
