Hawkguy, Patch and Scarlett Witch. Patch puts out strike tiles that Hawkguy can use to fuel purple and blue. The purple helps with Scarlett stun and team damage and the blue fuels hawkguy quiver power. You have also 2 true healers so you don't need as many health packs. Fun and effectiv team.

In Prodigal Sun, I had great success with 4hor, IM40 & Coulson. I know, no black and no green but it didn't matter! IM40's yellow & Coulson's purple gave me plenty of AP generation and board control.  DaSal

    5* Blackbolt
    5* Silver Surfer
    4* T.A. Hulk

This Is what i call "charge tiles galore". Blackbolts passive eats the enemy health slowly but surely. So damaging your enemy every turn is so fun and satifying to watch. T.A. hulks blue passive deals damage and creates charge tiles. Surfer's powers red and blue also make charge tiles.  Cho got his healing in black, surfer's got his healing in blue.. your main weapon of course is Bolt's quasonic whisper, i love to see how he deals 27.8k AOE damage at level 450, and of course, destroys the whole board..

    2* Ms. Marvel (5/3/5)

    4* Cloak & Dagger (5/3/5)

    5* Black Panther (5/5/3)

Ms. Marvel, Cloak, & Black Panther enter Luke’s Bar. Ms. Marvel stands behind Black Panther so her colors are covered. She asks Cloak, “Hey where’s the lady?” Cloak activates Pocket Dimension; Dagger appears. She glows as Ms. Marvel’s yellow grows. She asked the bartender for a Strategic Command double. “You know that causes cascades” he says. Dagger asks Panther if he likes yellow. “Yes, it raises the Spirit of Wakanda.” The bartender says, “Sweet Christmas! That takes out whole teams”

    Team:
    4* Red Hulk
    4* Vulture
    3* Magneto

    500 Character Description:
The best part of MPQ is solving which team to bring to each event. The weekly and themed character buffs means there is no ONE best team! It changes event to event. It is a puzzle game after all. My favorite event is Nefarious Foes which boosts all villains and this team will let you show those other would be badies whose boss! Red Hulk smashes and denies your enemy AP. Vulture swoops to the air giving YOU AP. Magneto shakes the board, brings the pain, AND protects you. It's more fun being bad!

    4 Star Medusa  5/53
    4 Star Carnage 5/5/3
    4 Star Mr Fantastic 5/53

The key to this team is Carnage creating tiles. With Medusa and Mr. F constantly healing matched tiles you barely take any damage plus Medusa gaining extra AP from matched tiles feeds Mr' F's stun power which also provides protection tiles. His blue power also lets you create lots of 5 or 6 tile matches. Carnage's red power does damage to all enemies which helps if an opponent is invisible.

    4* Gamora
    4* Rocket and Groot
    4* Medusa

The theory is if you kill them first, they can't kill you.  Combining Rockets powerful strike (buffed by fellow Guardian Gamora) with Gamora's cheap abilities, the third member of the team Medusa provides some healing and coverage no matter who you face.  She also can net you some green AP, which let's you see Groot's hilarious animation.  Don't push that button Baby Groot!

    3* Cage
    3* Blade
    3* Falcon

Cage out front. Falcon strengthens Cage's protect and Blade's strike and attack, while gearing up Cage for a big punch. Once Blade has his strikes out, put out his attack for a big slam at the end of each turn. No blue powers means Redwing is free to take those enemy specials.

    4* Mockingbird (5/5/3)
    4* Rocket & Groot (3/5/5)
    4* Captain Marvel (5/5/3)

R: My strikes boost match damage!
CM: Countdowns aplenty for my passive! If I make an Executive Decision too soon, Rocket's strikes still benefit.
MB: Four abilities triggered by my Opportunist nature bring the pain!
G: I am Groot! (Translation - Bobbi and Carol fortify their countdowns, everyone using separate colors is great for defense, and we all generate AP!)
R: If I only had tape to keep Groot from detonating our bomb!

I have got a a bit different team , but It works great, so far.

    4* Blade
    3* Iron man
    3* Dr. Strange

As I don't have many cover for 5* Dr. Strange, 3* works just as good.

This team destroys everyone on their path,
  • Loki
    Magneto 3*
    Wolverine 4*

Both Magneto's and Wolverine's offensive abilities can deliver great amount of damage while shaking the board (destroying team up tiles for magneto and any color for wolvie).
Loki will save you from unwanted special tiles and can provide cascades for only 5 purple AP. And he steals this AP like crazy.
If this wasn't enough, Magneto can offer you protect tiles, which can be very helpful.
I promise, this build can go winifite, if you'll be lucky with cascades.

    Team:

3* Luke Cage (Hero for Hire), 5/3/5.
3* Iron Fist (Immortal Weapon), 3/5/5.
    3* Sam Wilson (Falcon), 5/5/3.

    Description:

This team offers unbeatable offensive and defensive passive abilities: a strong regenerating attack tile, a strong regenerating protect tile, buffing of your special tiles, and the ability to remove enemy special tiles and countdowns — all for free! Luke and Danny have powerful attacks designed to compliment one another, but you can easily win a match without firing a single active ability on account of the team's amazing passives.

    4* Elektra, 3* Patch, 3* Doctor Octopus

i call it the Ron Burgundy special, because it really escalates quickly! Goal here is to save up 7 purple and then fire Berserker Rage. Bonus points if you can get enough blue for Manuplation as well to hopefully steal even more tiles. You can then stack even more damage with Insult to Injury and Ballet of Death, ultimately causing huge chunks of damage when your turn begins (ballet + huge strikes), when you make a match (huge strikes) and at the end of your turn (insult tiles + huge strikes)

    Medusa 5/4/4
    Carnage 5/5/3
    Iceman 5/5/3

Carnage releases enemy attacks that, when matched, quickly generates blue and green for Iceman or purple for Medusa.

5* iron man (0,0,1)/ 3* doc strange (5,3,5)/ 4*luke cage (1,4,1)     i like the team because luke cage and doc strange punish the other team for using powers and iron mans yellow lets him take no damage vary solid team.

This is the team I run in shield sim

    5* Hawkeye 5/5/3
    4* Coulson 5/5/3
    4* XF Deadpool 3/5/5

Hawkeye spam arrows with his blue and red abilities leading to more countdowns from Coulson's support. Deadpool provide cover if someone tries to take out Coulson/Hawkeye with enforcer (great against the bigger 5* teams). Countdown to what also adds more countdown tiles. When Hawkeye fortifies them, you get to double/triple/quadrupole match them. With all these countdown tiles, you are swimming in red/blue ap. if they aren't enough blue tiles to shoot arrows, Coulson has a blue outlet and deadpool has a red outlet.
    Try replacing XFDP with G4mora.

    3* Spiderman
    Scarlet Witch
    4* Carol Danvers

This team will surprise you with its synergy. Collect a bit of yellow and use Carol's yellow power on SW's countdown. It will make a purple match that creates a protect tile and then improves it. Just do that every time you get yellow and win. You'll get enough purple to fire off SW's power.

    Carol 4*/ Ghost Rider/ OML
    This pairing has flexibility.
    Target RED, BLACK
then YELLOW  if you can't get either.
Use Ghost Riders red to build attack tiles that are boosted each round by Carol's passive to boost tiles.(also OML's bonus strikes)
or Use Carols Black for a big hit.
USE Carols Yellow to accelerate RED or Black attacks
OML takes the damage and shields them.

And this highlights a big pairing for the new Ghost Rider
