I mean..I do.t know who to blame here. It's not really a glitch until someone says it wasn't intentional as this was how the game functioned before. Do you blame kyip? That seems unfair. The ppl.attacking kyip? What is kyip is in your bracket? How is it fair go expect that person to not attack am enemy they see. Heck, I feel.most, before jumping on the forum, thought they just got a lucky mmr. Can't blame someone for still attacking if they want to.

Hopefully they either revert it back, keep rewards...or don't touch it. The worst option is to only do it half way. There is NOTHING they can do to counter the effect of this event on the season other than to keep it honestly as any other option is just unfair. At least if they keep it every event will be inflated..and so the first 2 events will just be weighted less is all.

What would I PERSONALLY want? Doesn't matter which of those 2. One I benefit from a high score here (nobody can complain as everyone on the forum knows this is available at this point. If anything they WANT you to unshiekd a bunch here...) the other everyone is getting 4**** and 3*** rewards. So..to me? Mhee.

As said, worst option is to keep it inflated but up the rewards, because as past events show...time is the only change..how much time it takes to reach the "max inflation score." Make the top 3k and ppl will still hit it...I almost guarantee it.

Yea, I haven't started the shield training stuff yet so my scoring was just from events (is). Enough for hiliding top 25-30 post events ending. Wonder how this will effect that. Not really trying for first or anything in season, just top 25. If I get higher then yay, but I am nit going to waste shields the last day really. I just wasn't really attacked on my way up to 1650 and started shielding (didn't realise right away hiw messed up it was or I might have just let it drop and repushed a few hours later to save on shield costs).

Not really a glitch as much as its a guy who is shielded, can still be found in PvP matchmaking, and his team.isn't so amazing as to make it too hard to win. As such, ppl are avoiding others and mashing in him like a fightstick...leading to mire points into the overall pool, aka, higher top scores.

I actually think demiurge could stand to gain by pushing the top rewards past 1100 out slightly - to maybe 1500-1600 - but otherwise leaving it as is.
If shield hopping becomes the new norm (again - the return of the new norm? the old norm strikes back? something like that....) then they're likely to see an increase in HP purchases to fuel this sort of thing. And if it's not just anybody that appears after being shield, but only some small number of players at random, then PvP could become a kind of staring contest - who shields first? what if you shield and you become the pinata? what if you dont? etc.

Shielded at 1600+. I wanted to get a few more points to get that ten-pack season 1 reward, but the losses started eating my gains.

Then I remembered that I had not yet entered the new version of Shield Training.

Nah, go check the alliance rankings and look at individual scores. You should see plenty of 16xxs.

I think you should persevere.. you've got 2 solid 141s and all you need is to escape the zombie horde on the way to getting the falcon cover. I was able to find him reliably after hitting 1000 pts. From there you can still get hit, you just need to push as hard and as fast as you can. At the same time try not to attack others as everyone is going for Kyip.*

Also according to alliance mates, Kyips defensive win streak has brought him to 1870

This is like having a rubberband effect for PVP. just wait a little and Kyip will become a juicier target for you to climb again.
