Looks like Ice IX's announced change, that we'll be running "seasons" of events, has come to pass.

This morning's update has left my Events page with a SHIELD Season 1 tab which cannot be opened as of yet, whcih should be the start of the new individual and alliance "season" totals.



I'll add new details as they are revealed.

The grand prize is a Nick Fury cover, which is awarded to the top 100 alliances.


Season 1 events are denoted by a Season 1 tag on them.

This includes the SHIELD Simulator, PVP events, etc.


Simulator prizes-

50 - IM35 Red
100 - Modern Storm Green
200 - MW Blue
300 - Hawkeye Classic Purple
400 - IM35 Blue
500 - Modern Storm Red
600 - MW Purple
700 - Classic Hawkeye Red

    I missed a bunch of the middling episodes (b/c Hulu sucks) but I am enjoying the overlap b/w the Captain America movie and the TV show.

    Oddly, I think my biggest complaint is that now that he has his own show, Agent Coulson didn't appear in the Winter Soldier (or IM3). That was disappointing. He was like Stan Lee, always making at least a cameo.

    It might confuse movie goers that don't watch the TV show that he's alive. You missed a lot of garbage, the show has gotten better the last few episodes.

    Agreed, the show started slow, but its really picked up. I love it now.

    They're finally getting more 'Marvel', and the tie in with Captain America was especially well done.

    So is Season 1 really all of the tournaments going on during that time combined or is it just the 25 day Season 1 Shield Training? I thought it was supposed to be all tournaments inclusive, but the Shield training token icons match those in the Season 1 Event.

    Nick Fury jr. as a reward for the top 100 alliances!

    The abilities are... interesting. Damaging blue traps that stun, purple AP steal countdown that drops protect tiles and a yellow "Avengers, assemble!" that seems to summon other heroes. Really a tease...

    PVP events, such as Hollowpoint Kiss, will be included in the Season 1 progression totals.


    In short, any event with a Season 1 banner in green at the top will count.

    If you look at the Hollowpoint tournament points, they share the same icon of the Season 1, so it looks like it's an aggregate. And the new SHIELD simulator looks... awfully similar to the old one. 3k points for Spidey or GSBW? Are they reachable at all?

    He's a rare 4*, do you complain tha IW/X Force are reserved for the top players overall?

    I don't think people mind that, when I've been dedicated I can take first in a PvP tournament, but it's the drawback to the alliance system. It forces you into finding 19 other elite players and takes a lot of personal control away from the player.

    I agree on it being a part of the alliance system, but people complaining that a 4* isn't reachable is just ridiculous. 4*'s are basically just trophy prizes. It'll be at least 4 months before we see anyone have Nick Fury at a usable level and actually running him instead of a maxed 3*.
