    I know it doesn't matter for the current argument taking place but you guys did make me curious.

    The level of the Hulk for the top 10 in my bracket:

    141, 141, 76, 40, 15, 115, 85, 60, 100, 55

    I've never checked anything like that before.

    Haha, thanks, Bee! I know I said earlier that I don't aim for 1st, but I pushed for the 800 pts reward, then the 900 pts reward, then I got greedy and pushed for 1000... If you (or anyone else) want 1st, I'm probably gonna sleep on the end time (Saturday morning and stuff).

    First time ever I pushed this high! Too bad I don't need the red Hulk icon_e_biggrin.gif

    Edit: haha nope! Got hit for 118 pts just before finishing my last match, whatever, that was my best run and I saw a TON of forum goers this high.
    Hopefully will stay in top 5 or 10 overnight. See you all later with the Torch covers...

    I'm definitely not going to try to make a push for 1000 points... pretty much because I know it won't happen. icon_razz.gif I'll certainly try for 700 points. Haha. Then I'll just be settling for trying to get Top 25.

    Ok, my shield went down 15 minutes ago. Within 2 minutes I had already lost three matches.

    I just reshielded.

    In total:
    I won 4 matches i initiated for ~80.
    I won 1 match on defense +35
    I lost 9 matches on defense for around -240

    I went from 850 to 732 in the span of 15 minutes of those 15 minutes. How did so many draw me so quickly? Gah

    Pre-submit edit. Lost another two matches right after I shielded. Would have been another ~ 30 points lost. smh

    Post submit edit. Lost another two matches while typing the last edit. Would have been another 36 points lost.

    Edit 3... Ok... wth. Another 5 matches... ~92 points saved.

    Lock why did you not shield when you were level on points with me. Sorry I hit you without even looking at your name properly. Just tried to get a few games in as my shield was running out. The retal should be a nice score for you.

    ^ I believe the person that gets the even score later, gets the higher placement, but I didn't for some reason (not that I care... I do not have the ISO to level even my cover-capped 3*s, not to mention 4*s). I was sitting unhit for quite some time, hoped to do my last match quickly and shield. Whatever though, just hope that our bracket doesn't go ballisitic in the last hours and push me out of top 10 lol.

    Sweenz: I just seriously went through the same thing. Made a stupid mistake and accidentally had OBW on my team on the Desert map instead of MStorm, so the fight took longer than it should have.

    I lost at least 150 points. This absolutely sucks. It was like "Oh, you're not Shielded and you don't have a roster of maxed characters? You get no points." I've completely given up on Top 10. Just hoping I MIGHT get top 25. Why the hell I showed up as a target for that many people at once, I don't get. Definitely sucks, though. Reshielded for the rest of the day, and I'm done with this event.

    Guessing Top 25 is going to be the regular result for me until I have a bunch of Level 120+ 3*s so.... I'll never do better than that. icon_razz.gif

    EDIT: Just checked. If I hadn't reshielded 6 minutes ago, I would have lost another 100 points. Wow.

    I think they changed this a week or 2 ago, so it's the first person to reach the score that gets the higher position (as it should be imo).

    Some of it really depends on the bracket you land in. #10 in my bracket is at 669, and only has 1 character above L85.

    Also, competition is going to be more intense for a event giving out covers for a new and desirable character, like Torch. I expect placement will generally be easier for the Hotshot event, since many high-level players already have a cover-maxed Punisher and will be focusing on the concurrent PVE.

    Yeah, I'm really hoping the competition won't be quite as intense in the Hotshot event, since i could definitely use some Punisher covers.

    There is only so many unshieled people over 650 points at this time and most of them are probably trying to climb. So the pool of targets is probably a lot smaller than you think. So if your like me and do not have 3x141 its just saying come hit me.

    I was a half-step behind first when I got a (shielded) defensive win which pushed me to a tied score with the #1 place - I am still in 2nd on identical score.

    Sumilea: I guess so. Hadn't thought about that. Still don't see too many people shielded in my brackets, but I guess there are quite a few more. And so far, the shield I'm using has protected me from at least 200 points lost. And I'm actually getting close to 800 points.

    Muahaha, finally got the 900 reward and shielded at 924. We'll see if it holds up for first.

    Rode M.Storm and MN.Thor all the way there. Gotta love the desert node!

    I feel kinda bad for all the 3* rosters I oasised to death though.

    EDIT: Ah, the new Hot Shot tourney has a desert node as well. BRB, gotta go deliver some more cheese.

    I fought for a few hours without suffering any retaliations... but here it comes: a (stupid) defeat and a (painful) retaliation, nearly -70points. I guess it's a sign, off to bed! icon_lol.gif

    I doubt I'll still be in top 10 when I wake up as competition is growing more intense.

    This tourney has been one of the most competitive in recent memory. I'm sitting in 6th right now with 906 points. I may have to break my shield and tear a few quick matches late just to stay in the top 10.

    Apparently everyone needs them some Human Torch covers... icon_e_wink.gif

    And yeah, these are pretty much my higher leveled characters. I haven't done well enough in bigger events to get a lot of 3* covers to where I could start effectively using them over 2*s. My highest 3* characters are all in the low 40s: LazyCap (Or does he have a different nickname?), Hulk, and Punisher.

    I specifically focused on getting 2* over 3* just for the sake of fun gameplay, using my fully covered 2s to start earning 3s. Though the horrible, horrible 2* award nerf makes it a lot more difficult.

    And the fact the required characters are always 3*. I'm guilty of buying a couple token packs for that reason..
