    I see another forumite in my bracket. How's it going mischief maker? Dont worry im on a one day shield now as I have stuff in RL going on so I won't be challenging for first place. I'll probably check in tomorrow night and break shield if I have to to reach top ten though. Good luck in your pushes tomorrow guys and gals icon_e_biggrin.gif

    My Hulk is 122, and Hawkeye is maxed out along with max Daken as well. It is kinda surprising how many attack this team thinking it will be easier compared to others that pop up in queues. I have actually climbed into the top 10 with using this team alone, using retaliation on targets 200+ points above me.

    I can understand using Punisher, but in this tournament, I have to laugh a bit because Retribution does nothing but anger Hulk when you are attacking. On a side note, if Punisher uses red on Hawkeye, and he avoids to a character with health below the threshold, it doesn't seem to instantly down because it checks Hawkeyes health., not the avoid target.

    Edit: My Hawkeye build is 5/3/5. It maximizes avoid potential, and considering purple is hawkeye's strongest color, that increases the likelihood that the AI will collect and end up not avoiding too much if only at rank 3

    Retribution IS the essence of anti-Hulk. It downs targets under 40% health (in my case 30% but it's okay).
    Oh, they attacked me again. Well something is definitely off with their math, I appreciate the free points however. On to stun the angry Hulkster.

    Downing maxed Hulk when he's under 5600dmg? Bartender, make it double.

    I usually build the final move - gather 7-14-21 black, at least 11 red and 8 green. And depending on the situation I use either Retribution or Rogers' red.
    And if I see a problem in the coming turns, I try to grab 12blue to stun Hulk, then wound him a lot.

    Not to mention that those Anger 0-3 Hulks are rather friendly beasts icon_cool.gif .

    Was about to buy an 8 hour Shield because I got it in my head that this event would be ending at Noon tomorrow. Glad i looked at the timer before I bought it. Just hope whatever my team is in this event doesn't take too much damage overnight.

    That Shieldbro-oBW person attacked me again but not after making it to 700 pts themselves, so free 40+ pts for me again. I swear they decided to help me with their pts, I gained 160 pts on them alone. Please please continue attacking me while having more pts...

    Oh, no no. Lol. Like I said, I understand why Punisher gets used. I have a level 116ish punisher with 5 red myself. I laugh because AI Punisher's use Retribution asap and all that does is a guaranteed hulk anger tile. That, and a double molotov hit on hulk for two anger tiles is always a good laugh as well.

    My Hulk is Lv 30 unbuffed and is 2/1/3. I'm wondering if it's worth raising him to Lv 50, or if I should save my 10K ISO for Punisher who is at Lv 43 right now?

    I'm currently running a 50M.Storm/45 buffed Hulk/85 M Thor team.

    Any opinions would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

    Punishers a better long term investment, hulks a good scarecrow but he's more someone you throw in on defense rather than someone you play with. Where as Little bunny pun pun plays nice with everyone.

    I'd say only invest a few more levels in hulk if you feel it'll help you get a cover you really want/need this tournament, then stop until you get more covers/ he's buffed again

    ^ Save your ISO, Hulk needs 4-5 black covers and also at least more health than a 2*, so he's just a third wheel in your comp anyway. Play lots with mStorm on Desert and abuse Call the Storm.

    I saw pretty interesting team compositions on my way to 1000.
    Couple of Spideys (skip unless worth 30+ points), LT and BP (S.H.I.E.L.D icon_razz.gif), some LazyCaps, although not too many - guess most people are too ISO-starved to have him maxed out yet.
    Most interesting however was someone at 1150+ points with a maxed Hulk, maxed Spidey and maxed... Venom icon_e_surprised.gif
    I mean, yeah, I get it - stun, stun, stun, devour, devour, devour on offense.
    But on defense... yeah. I took the 41 points.

    Got my Hulk from 111 to 123, so that he tanks black for maxed Punisher.
    He'll be deadweight until his next tourney, but I've always wanted to give him some more levels, so I did.

    I don't know why, but it's a weird mixture of funny and annoying when I check the game after... a little under an hour and see what all teams who beat me are like to make me lose 85 points, and it's mostly people with at least 1 lever 110+ character. I still don't even have enough covers of one 3* character to get them up to level 100. And thanks to them I never will! icon_razz.gif

    Guess I should have gotten that 8 hour Shield. icon_lol.gif

    I hit that Venom team too. There weren't a lot of attractive options going to 1200. You came up in my queue, but I think I skipped you, I mostly skipped maxed-out teams. There were a surprising number of 12-15 point matches that came up in my MMR that weren't level 212 Hulks.

    Thanks Arrognt and Locked. I've been abusing Jungle and Desert and Hulk has definitely been a third wheel during the tourney. It helps to know the extra levels probably won't push him over the edge to useful yet.
