Lets hope so. I really enjoy the basic mechanics of the game, but sometimes it seems like everything they do makes it harder to enjoy it. I appreciate they need to make money and I would be happy to pay if I thought they were doing a good job with what they have and the prices were more reasonable. I am enjoying being in an alliance despite my initial reservations about them.

Pretty much agree with everything you just said, as I was also a little reluctant to join an alliance at first. You guys have been great though, and the in-game chat is pretty fun when people are engaged in it, so it's been a net positive, despite the pressure (not from anyone, but from myself to not let you all down) to put up as many points as I can in every single tournament no matter what the rewards.

I'm certainly willing to give the devs a few weeks to figure out some of the bracketing issues and see if things like rubberbanding and scaling get any better with the small changes they're sure to make. If things don't get much better in that time though I might have to reevaluate how much time I'm willing to spend playing the game. Til then, grind on I guess! icon_razz.gif

Grind on is a good motto.
  • Personally I LOVE season 1. it was great. added more rewards for playing the pvp we were gonna play anyway. What it does to the placing within the brackets will be interesting to see if they somehow alleviate things a little. Not that I know how. Less people per bracket? I can't crack 850 personally. so since top 10 is minimum 1000 now I'm SOL

I'm also less burnt out cuz I didn't compete hardcore in the last PVE

    is it a good motto?
    keep calm and grind on!
but yeah i hope they fix stuff so that it doesn't feel so grindy.
i'm enjoying the alliance myself, reading some of the other threads about the high level competitiveness, i think we're in a good spot.

There will always be some who will want to win at all costs, but some of that alliance stuff I have read is crazy.

I wonder if Fury will be the award for season 2 perhaps yellow or blue and the other for season 3.
  • Cheers, mates! *lol*

Wha? Being an introvert is rude? I just don't like the limelight, I prefer flying below radar... I was just agreeing, it sounds like a good game motto for the world - someone should put it out there and bask in the glory! icon_e_geek.gif

I think he was just joking that you were "behind" the guy, perhaps implying something else...

Just for the record, I proudly stand behind many women as well...

Okay, so maybe I'm standing behind them friend-zoning them into dudes' ways who WILL 'stand' behind them, but let's not split hairs here.

If you let me know your favorite character I'll make you a custom one tomorrow.

I made a bunch of generic alliance ones here:

My first Marvel comic ever was an issue featuring Nova on the cover. I think he would be pretty awesome if you don't mind.

As long as Dhaden is happy to do it, it would be cool if everyone had a sig. I had to look up who nightmist/afroless was and it is a nice show of team unity.
