We had 3 members leave during Season 1, Bob41 who left the game, Kaka85 who left to join his friends in another alliance and HK who was unfairly sandboxed. Darknite, Kobalt and BrianD joined during the event. Overall I was very pleased with our efforts, apart from the final event we always managed to get the cover reward and had some top 50 finishes. I would like to see communication improved. I know not everyone is super social, but I feel it is an important part of the game. Also if you can keep people informed if you are not going to be about for a particular event or period of time then it is easier to cover for each other. I don't think we need to make any major changes at this time with Season 2 having already kicked off.

As always if you have any problems then feel free to contact me.

Last I talked to him he was still working with customer support but they weren't being very supportive. I said he should PM IceIX or another dev on here and maybe they would be more sympathetic to his problem. He may have just given up and quit the game (or continue to just play casually with his sandbox account). Not really sure, but it's pretty lame what happened.

Sandboxing is like the ultimate casuals. Once there you should just go all the way and COVER EVERYTHING TO THE MAX!

We have just missed out on top 100 in both of these events. We knew Dhaden wasn't going to be about much due to his move, but I would prefer it if we were not quite so reliant on a few individuals. Let me know what you think about if you feel like we need to make a change or if you are happy to keep going with the way things are.

not sure if there is much cure for this. i couldn't play the last ~4 hours and so i was whittled down like crazy the last couple of events. we've been pretty far below average as well. if possible we should shoot for minimum point totals at least? perhaps 400+? i think that would help a little bit. with all the talk of people quitting, things just seem hyper competitive. i mean even in the pves i like to grind but damn it's ridiculous.

funny story from last night. it's late and i'm doing a little grinding before sleepy time. need to head to the bathroom for a little bit of business before i am done. i have my tablet clutched to my chest as i walk there, literally 10 steps or less and when i get there apparently my man **** managed to purchase a heroic token and redeem it. i don't even know how it happened, fully clothed and everything, it's like 3-4 clicks. when i look down all i see is a gold token shining at me. i'm so mad since i am saving up for sentry, but hey at least i got a gold one right? the rewards? a blue spidey. LOL

I've mentioned this a few times in Alliance Chat before but I think there are a handful of members that A) Consistently score in the bottom 25% for most events and B) Never talk in alliance chat. I do not think it would be an issue to cut these people from the roster and find some more people with solid rosters who are a bit more friendly.

I feel bad that you guys have missed out on the PvP rewards while I've been gone and would love to have some more consistency in the roster. I don't know if mandatory scores for each event are the right approach, since I know we've had players try really hard and come up short before because of roster strength/death brackets. A lot of the time we'll make a "call to action" in the chat and we'll see a big increase in the scores during the last leg of an event. If our entire roster was active socially I think we'd be way more consistent.

Edit: I'm active enough on these forums and would be willing to do some recruiting if need be if you're getting worn out doing it Limee

I'm torn because I agree with Dhaden, but I feel like kicking people out is somewhat of an extreme thing to do. That said, I feel like everyone should be contributing something, whether it's consistently putting up 800+ in PvP, or grinding like hell in PvE, or keeping things light and fun in the chat/forum but playing a little more casually. If you're playing even just a little it's pretty easy to hit that chat button and write a thing or two.

Anyway, I think for the most part we have a really cool group of people, so I'm okay/happy with how things are. But looking at people's contributions is certainly a valid thing to do, so I'm not gonna stand in the way icon_e_smile.gif.

Also on the point requirement thing. I agree setting some point threshold for people (whether team-wide or individually) is a little heavy-handed. However, I honestly don't understand why anyone wouldn't get at least 300 for the event token (unless they're getting it and then attacked under 300 later, which seems unlikely, but possible). I think since I started doing PvP I only failed to get it one time and that was the DA event and I had like a 17 Moonstone, 31 Ares, and 31 Daken, so I did what I could and respectfully bowed out. Anyway, requiring a certain amount of points from people can only be a negative thing and lead to resentment and seeing the game as a chore/work instead of fun, so I would prefer to not do that.

    Good posts chaps.

I agree that we have a pretty good core group some are more social and some are higher scorers and some are both. I don't really want to set a point threshold or kick people without cause. I am very understanding if people have other things they have to take care of, they want to take a break, go easy for an event or two, prefer PVE or PVP or just have an event which is kicking their ****, but it is good to be kept informed. It enables the more dedicated to know they might need to put that bit more into an event if they want a certain reward. I think the social aspects are an important part and I like working together as a team to achieve something. If somebody isn't scoring much or being social then we probably do need to look at it or it could cause problems longer term.

I am quite happy to keep doing the recruiting, but I don't mind if someone has somebody in mind or wants to take a turn at it. I just want to make sure it is coordinated.

We are having the same kind of issues in my alliance. We didn't make top 100 for season one which was very disappointing. We didn't kick anyone and are so far doing much better in season two however a few of us thought that we may put it to the group that we will kick the bottom two scorers of season two if we do not make top 100 this time. Your goals may be a little different, but I thought I would throw it out there.

i have been hoarding the standard recruit tokens. i'll have to find out if it is magic ... with science!
when i hit 100 i'll have an opening party.

but yeah i definitely think we should do better with communication. we have a couple of guys that i have *never* seen post anything here or in game *and* don't contribute much effort wise. if you guys know each other IRL that's cool, but otherwise ?

fudge on a stick. looks like i have been booted from the alliance at the end of the event ...
is that just on my side? anyone still see me in the group?

*never mind, it was due to the sever snafus they've been having i guess. pay no attention here ...

Dang man, sorry it came to this. You were never an issue to me and my reaction to the above was "seriously?" as well, since you have always been pretty active in the chat. Anyway, sad to see you go, but hope you can lead a stress-free MPQ existence. Feel free to come drop some memes any time icon_e_smile.gif.

edit: meant to add that I thought Kobalt must have been joking since it's pretty clearly not true. Anyway - hope we can sort it out.
