    We scored over 100pts more per player compared to the 1st Doctor's Orders. Top Gun is giving Wolverine (Patch) rewards followed by a Rangarok tournament.

    We finished up 23rd in Top Gun which is our best PVP finish so far. I guess our new more casual approach is paying off.

    We are 20th in Oscorp heroic. It looks like Krakadoom is leading into another running of God of Lies.

    I was going between 900 & 990 points for well over an hour. Everytime I won a fight to go over 1K by the time it had finished I had been attacked again. I then got to 1040 which put me in 7th, but I guess a few people did a late push as I ended up 14th. I picked up a nice lot of iso, but I really don't want to have to fight that hard in every PVE.

    well this seems to be the new normal ... current event is crazy competitive too ...
    really really sucks. this 2 -3 transition is going to last a while.

    I managed a half-way decent bracket. Joined during the beginning of Oscorp and ~8 hour mark for the last PvP (falcon? so many lately I can't even remember) so the big guns were doing other stuff besides joining Rags I guess. Anyway, won my bracket, but 3rd place was like 930 or something so it wasn't too bad. WAYYYYYY better than last time where my score wouldn't have even been top 10.

    But yeah, it's been pretty brutal lately. Seasons ON TOP of alliances just makes it so all the top players go all-out no matter what the tournament or rewards are cause there are other rewards riding on their individual performance. Definitely hurts the progression of the 2* player I think, but at least we keep getting the alliance cover, so that's something (I know, small consolation).

    We are 24th in Oscorp heroic. God of Lies has Iron Man 40 covers up for grabs which quite a few people need so it will be good if we can get another top 100 finish.

    I haven't seen much reduction in scoring so I am not sure if people have changed their playing habits since our discussion. I did less on Krakadoom than I have most recent tournaments. The rubberbanding seems to have hauled back the Heroic Oscorp scoring without me having to grind too much.

    Yeah it's funny, I grinded a lot in the first sub to make up for the point snafu thing, then thought rubberbanding would help enough in sub 2 that I wouldn't have to grind so I didn't for a day, but now am right back to grinding it out cause I can't catch up fast enough. I think they need to make the rubberband just a little stronger so I don't have to grind SO much to at least stay close, but I won't hold my breath for it.

    given how things have gone, they're not going to change anything. a smaller percentage of the player pool was screwed by the points snafu, the rest just have to suck it up. i caught up to the leader in mine, but it was extra grindy. to be honest, i'm close to burnt out, i'm going to have to moderate down after this event.

    Noobprime was again our PVE grinding king. God of Lies scoring was up nearly 50 points per player from the last time it was run.

    I am really hoping they don't try to go straight into season 2 when season 1 finishes as I could do with a bit of a break.

    Also, to Mgm and Lavs: I noticed that when you guys came as a group you brought Danimal with you. The guy as far as I know hasn't said a word in chat or in this thread. His scores are consistently in the bottom 10% for each and every event. Do you know what his deal is? I'd be alright with active chatting members being low scorers, but it bugs me that as far as I can tell he's just leeching off the rest of us.

    Also don't have him. but reading the changes they seemed to want to nerf his ability to stun lock a team after amassing blue ap, and to nerf the dmg reduction of his purple. Despite these changes he still looks to be really good (Decent stun, the only 3* with heal) he's probably not a *god* anymore

    Yeah mine only has 2 yellow and one blue, so I've never used him outside of the prologue (and watching my daughter play with him, she loves spidey for some reason). He still seems pretty playable, and at least put his abilities more in line with other characters in the game.

    Also Limee, I agree, at the very least a week or two before more season events pop up would be great. It'd also be nice to have a few PvP during the season not have to count for season stuff, but I know that doesn't really mesh with their original intention for seasons.

    where will you character be when the funbalancing happens ...
    well hopefully this is the end of seasons for a while, do you think they will be doing it every 'season' (ie 3 months)? it became a 30 days sprint which is not really how i want to enjoy this game.

    Hopefully they will take a chance to assess how season 1 worked and what effect it had on the game and how people were playing. I like the idea of not all PVPs in that month counting towards the season score. I think when they do then combined with alliance scoring it feels like you need to play every event. With the last 2 PVPs being an absolute slugfest and scaling on PVE then they are lacking in any casual/fun content, but I guess that is not where they get their revenue from. There are steps they could take to avoid players feeling the burnout, but I don't know if they will take them. It is easier to see short term gain than it is long term cost.

    I originally assumed there would always be a season running, but then again I assumed they would be much longer (you know, like actual seasons). Now that we see they're much shorter (like a month), I would hope for maybe a 2 week break before another 28 day season, but would not be surprised in the least if they rolled straight into the next one. Only thing that gives me pause is that they at least seem to somewhat pay attention to what people complain about on the forum so they might give a break given all the burnout threads we've seen lately.
