I initiated a reimbursement request with Steam for all monies I've spent on this game since they seem completely unable to even update me with a response from support. If it actually goes through and my account gets closed I have an "alt" account I play with on my phone/tablet that I'll start playing with as my main.

We'll see what happens, hopefully it will light a fire under their **** and I'll get my account back soon. I feel helpless watching you guys compete while I sit here hoping for forum scraps.

People seem to get very different responses. They were very quick when I had a problem not receiving the daily reward, but others never seem to get a reply to something. It must be really frustrating. Have you tried a PM to IceX? At least you already have punisher fully covered although now all the points count towards season rewards. I hope you get it sorted out soon.

Edit: PM'd IceIX, not sure what he can do but hopefully he can ping one of the support dudes.

Oh no worries man, wasn't taken that way at all... I'm my own worst critic. I played 3-4 hours a day this weekend, possibly a bit more, and scored ~100K on The Hunt and a fair sight more than 100 on Hollowpoint Kiss; I'm just being hard on myself for not doing better on Doctor's Orders. So many events going on last week it was hard to keep up... how do you guys do it?

I went 5 red as it enables retribution to be used earlier when fighting lv230+ enemies in PVP. I was using red a bit less in the hunt this time because of Cap's boosted shield toss.

Caps Red and Thor's Green are why I wonder if Punisher even has a place in my lineup except when he's an essential hero. Besides Hood, the only character I really would like to boost is C.Mags, but I have like 2 covers for him total.

My Thor is only 1-3-2 so he is not really usable yet. He looks like a great damage dealer with a nice health pool to go with it.

I asked a similar question in a thread in the Tips section the other day. Didn't really get a lot of replies, but NorthernPolarity (who basically replies to every post in that whole forum section) basically said Punisher was not a great fit with Cap and Thor. Since those are my only 3 usably covered 3*, I was wondering the same. I'd probably say the Hood would be the best fit with those 2, or a singularly powerful character like Black Panther. I imagine the new Lazy Daken would be a great fit, but might be a couple months before there are enough covers of him out there to use (assuming he's the next release, which I think they said he is).

edit: Punisher is not the best fit, because you want greens for Thor and most likely red for Cap (unless you want Punisher for retribution on huge health baddies), so you're only bringing Punisher along for his black. At my previous level (max 2*), I thought his black was pretty good (also I had 4 covers for it), mediocre damage, but at least it was to everyone, and the attack tile was occasionally relevant. At this stage, I can see that his black is pretty underpowered. So, I think the idea is you're better off with someone who can feed yellow, green, and red to Thor/Cap (OBW steal or Hood's blue steal) or someone with a good to great black and/or purple power (i.e. Black Panther's black, maybe Psylocke with her Black?, not sure who else fits here).

I am torn about Lazy Daken... On one hand he will be super ridiculously annoying to face on PvP and will probably get you a ton of skips. However, he's an enemy on just about every PvE node it seems so you won't be able to use him a lot on missions.

Does it turning green mean they stickied it? Maybe they want it to stick around near the top for a little while since there has been a lot of discussion on the topic?

Also, good point about Daken. I kinda forgot that he might be useless at least 50% of the time in PvE.

I keep editing my posts and then you've posted something new .

As for me, I just got Thor to his level cap at 128, so until I get that 3rd red cover (or decide to spend 1250 HP on it after another week or two of not getting it), I'm gonna pump Cap up to 141 and just keep using OBW as my 3rd for the time being. I'll level Punisher last barring an influx in covers elsewhere. I'd love to get Hood up to a usable level of covers but I'm just nowhere close and the villain LR nerf doesn't help any. I guess I just need to be patient.

bummer about the issues dhaden. missing out on some covers, but the alliance has got your back and if you get your old account you'll see some sweet rewards waiting for you.

Day 5, still nothing from either D3 or support. But hey, at least my team of 46 Storm, 30 OBW and 23 Falcon managed to get 400 pts in the PvP on my phone, so at least I got that going for me.

Both the Facebook MPQ Team and IceIX are personally trying to track down CS and persuade them to get me back on track so hopefully I'll be back up and running soon.
