Man his black really encourages a rainbow team. Seems like it could be really strong. I like that.
  • I have no complaints about any changes to any of the characters. Yall did a much better job than on previous balances. Too bad it didn't come a month ago.

These changes show they do know what they're doing, but it sure took a pretty long time for this to happen.

Max Level: Heals for 9989 or destroys 9 tiles and deals 164 damage per tile.

Welp if that tile resolved X-force basically just fully healed himself

I'm assuming for his level 5 green it deals the initial 3441 damage plus additional damage for the 15 destroyed tiles?

I like the switch from red to black.

    Whats his max hp?

Black seems like it has potential when you get to 5.

    Sounds like 5/5/3

Sure, AP steal at 5 black is a no brainer and this power has a strong potential for board control
Between green and yellow, I'd tend for green for more board control but I need to consider if destroying 15 tiles is much better than 'only' 9.
The fact is that, even if the yellow power is less exciting, I learned with Patch that I really love to have a powerful healing factor icon_e_smile.gif

As 4 in green is not really interesting, the choice will be between 3 or 5 and then between 5/5/3 or 3/5/5
Note that as X-Force is now a master in board shaking he will probably create enough cascade to match his yellow countdowns himself...

3/5/5 could be really interesting to test indeed. The fact is my X-Force is currently 1/4/2 and as I'm not really a #1 finisher, this question will remain mostly theoretical for long! icon_e_wink.gif

Same as before, 10960 at Level 270.
  • Since yellow's still a CD tile, he's definitely 5/5/3 as I see it. That being said, I'll probably give him 5 yellow and respec when I get the green and black. Looking forward to using him.

Mine is currently sitting at 4/4/5 and I'll probably go 3/5/5. The black sounds real nice
  • With the buff inc thers 2 specs to choose from 5/5/3 or 3/5/5.
I would go for the 1º one due to the board shake up he can create tho the yellow power is a interesting one..

    Looks like 3 green does 800 damage at max + 5 tiles in a 3x3, 5 green does 3.4k + 15 tiles in 3 3x3s.
3 yellow heals roughly 4k health and does 600 damage, 5 yellow heals 9k or does 1.4k damage.

I think the build should be 5/5/3. 5 black is a given. In theory double healing is nice, but a 2 turn CD tile can be somewhat inconsistent and the ability is situational in that it wont help you end a match: healing shouldn't be much of an issue anyways since you can prologue heal when you need to. The damage is irrelevant since you care more about the healing and an extra 800 damage isn't the end of the world. 3->5 green, however, is huge. it turns the ability from incredibly mediocre damage to very cost efficient: 8AP for 800 damage is terrible, whereas 8AP for 3.4k damage is almost as efficient as Torchy's fireball, which turns the ability from low tier to high tier.
  • The scaling on green damage as a function of cover seems a bit too high but the ability is still within the 'well it's a 4*' level of power.

The yellow seems weak but I can imagine this turning a game around by itself in rare occasions so maybe it's balanced. It seems to have the highest potential for a miraculous turnaround. His abilities hurts a lot but taking an extra black or green isn't the end of the world, while the yellow can literally be a 'I returned from the dead' deal. You'd prefer not get into such a situation in the first place, but it can happen.
  • This still doesn't look anywhere as good as Patch.

Level 5: Deals 265 damage per tile. Destroyed tiles now generate AP.
Max Level: 270 damage per tile
    +5 dmg for 200 lvl's? icon_lol.gif

How so? This guy has 4k more hp than Patch and a black ability that is devestating compared to Patch's meh red ability. Comparing the green/yellow abilities gets complicated, but I see a lot of teams where this guy fits on that Patch really doesn't.

Higher heal, higher cascades and doesn't put powerful enemy strike tiles on the board. He's a good alternative!

"Interesting" as in "just as awful as all the trap powers, and the best you can hope for is fake healing"?

5/5/3 all the way in any circumstance. The new black is a hell of a nuke, and the green does really solid damage, but I fail to see how he'd be better than Patch.

Now here's a Wolverine actually worth playing! Love the healing idea, black is obviously cool as hell. Everyone wants 5 in two covers, however, I think I'm going with 4/5/4. Maybe I'll change my mind later, but I like that option the most right now.

I see less one-shot potential (both nukes depend on the board but Patch's nuke can be manipulated with team composition), true healing, strike tiles interact with other character's powers (we all know ways around opposing team's strike tiles, like for instance "kill them")
  • 5/5/3 is seems like a no brainer, but yellow isn't as useless as it looks. It's the only skill capable of a miraculous turnaround out of his skills, and while you shouldn't try to get into situations that'd require such an ability in the first place, it can be useful. I wouldn't spec toward 5 yellow but if I started with 5 yellow, I think that's still workable while I'm waiting for the other covers to fall. Yellow doesn't strike me as a 'I get to play forever' ability like Healing Factor. It's more like 'we were totally doomed and then suddenly I got all my lifebar back and killed everyone' deal.
