Ugh, the Doom event has been brutal on me so far. My MMR has definitly been effected by the season, and I am having some issues because of it. I have seen several teams with 141s (I dont have anyone over 89). On top of that I have gotten the worst cascade luck - so bad that I have lost 3 matches I STARTED against teams I usually beat. Because of that I am only at 100 so far . Its a shame cause I did want that Falcon cover - maybe I can make a late push for it, but for now I am trying to focus on gettign the double falcon cover for top 50 in the sim. Anyone else notice how much grinding people seem to be doing there? People must be hitting nodes until they are at 1, cause even running the highest value nodes a few times (until they arent worth it) I am just barely able to keep up with the top 50.


At least I am about 900 points away from getting my heroic 10 pack! With the number of events left in the season looks like I am sitting pretty - I only need a handful of points a day to hit it. Even after I hit it I will keep pushing though - we are WAY too close to getting that Nick Fury cover for me to give up and tank a couple at the end!

Ive heard a lot of both sides of it - Im really hoping for some luck with that one though. Hell, 2 black OBW covers to finish her up would be a godsend, I would call it a win just at that. Really if I get any 3* from it I will be happy.

Hot damn those last few events were brutal at the end. Apparently I joined the doom event too early and after getting clobbered at the end, ended with close to 500 points which didnt even break the top 200 O_O.

And the sim event that was going on - well ****. Last couple days my nodes were high enough that I was losing 1-2 characters when I WON a match, and losing the entire match pretty frequently as well. Couple that with the low rosters being able to just grind out those nodes to 1 and I could barely keep my top 75. I was top 50 for a while, but I simply could keep up at the end. Very frustrating when you look at the top 10 in your bracket and you see half of them have IM35 as thier highest leveled cover...

So I went from expecting to be 2/2/2 this falcon event to going in at 1/1/1. That makes it a lot harder, since his level isnt too much more than just a gifted falcon. And with Patch rewards....I think Im going to wait a day before taking this one on. Hopefully I cans pend some time tanking Lightning rounds or trying to pump up my shield score (already around 1100, dont want to push it too far just yet).

Nice 10 pack. I would say i hope mine is as good, but after the way the Falcon event was going for me yesterday, I just hope I can get to mine.

Biggest bonus in mine was that black OBW - I was only 3/5/3 before, this makes her black deal damage, which is one of her biggest offencive benefits with strike tiles. Makes her a HELL of a lot scarier! Plus the extra levels are super useful!!!

Hey guys. Just left the alliance. Just looking for one a little more consistent with getting covers. Most of you are pretty cool, so will definately miss that.

My five year old got a hold of my phone and was clicking buttons. Apparently having me leave the alliance. I am trying to reapply but there is some kind of cool down before I can rejoin. I apologize it wasn't intentiona.

It's real cool when one guy leaves, and overnight, a quarter of our team is gone.

I'm here to stay for the long haul. I will do everything in my power to help our alliance stay competitive. If we are going to be shifting from a casual alliance to a more competitive one, I expect everyone to share that mindset even if they don't have the same resources that I do (time+hp+iso+covers, NOT MONEY).

I feel like I put in work in pve and at least pull my weight in pvp. I admit to under-performing on the pvp side of things recently due to the rewards and being so far from top 100. If we aren't close enough to the top 100 where a push would make a difference, I don't push. I'm sitting pretty as far as covers go, so the only thing I'm gaining in many of these tournaments is MMR. I like to keep my MMR low so I am able to repeatedly beat up on easy teams then tank back down for quick iso (can make up to 20k a day). If we came to an agreement that we would all try to put up at least x amount of points, I'd be down too. I just don't want to see someone finish with 50 points while I sacrifice my MMR for covers I don't need. I presume our ex-members were fed up with putting up big numbers every round and the alliance not even cracking top 100, so they left. We've missed out on some alliance covers (lazy thor, lazy cap) that would've completed the character for me, but it didn't bother me at all. I thought it was the same for everyone else, but I guess not. I wish someone would've said something instead of just ditching. Got to speak up and voice your concern or nothing will change.

I agree with a lot of that turbo. I'm down with being more competitive, but if we don't wanna do that, that's fine too. I wanna have as many covers as possible, sure, but I mainly wanna have fun playing this game. If I can do both, great. I like this alliance and I don't plan on leaving to pursue a more "competitive" alliance.

Unless I'm the last one left. That would kinda suck.

I can't be competitive. I am getting ready to graduate college with my associates. Then I am starting to work on my Bachelor's. I have a full time job, a family, and many activities. I play this game for fun. I saw, though, to do much in this game, you have to be in an alliance. I joined this one because I liked what was initially said.

That being said, I give each event my all. On the weekends, between homework and "honey-do" list, I log on and do what I can. I'll admit, I am not into all the strategies of this game, so that is why I ask who goes with who or such. If something happens, I try to let it be known, I can't contribute much. If I am doing that too much, I expect someone to say something. If I am not pulling my weight in points, I expect someone to say something. Just know, by looking at my roster, my highest toon is my 2* Wolverine at lvl 77. Each ISO I get, I am leveling someone - right now OBW, and Thor right after.

If this doesn't fit in what you want for a teammate, let me know. I understand. Any advice, I'll take it

I feel bad because I have been considering leaving the alliance. Not because of the less than stellar performance lately (although that is a bit of a downer). I've just begun an intensive art course and I really want to dedicate my time wholeheartedly to that. And I know that will mean less MPQ and it's not fair to you guys if I start performing half-assed in every event. However, given the current situation and the people who all just bailed, I definitely will not be leaving until the situation gets straightened out. Don't worry, I won't leave you all hanging. Just an advanced warning though that I MAY be leaving eventually or, if I stay, my participation will likely decrease.

But this alliance wasn't created to be a top 50 alliance. I don't think any of us expected that. I knew I was no longer playing this game 8+ hours a day like I used to and I don't plan to ever again. So I wanted a casual alliance. It would be nice though, and I think you'll all agree, if we could at least be a top 100 alliance. But like menious said, not everybody has a 100+ level roster. I'm just now reaching that level myself. I got my second lvl 141 just last week. So we can't look down on people who only reach top 50 in PVP events. When I was playing with primarily a 2* roster, top 50 was a pretty damn praiseworthy achievement.

This is something that has bothered me personally. I consistently have placed top 10 in every PVP since joining the alliance, except for one or two where I couldn't afford to shield. And yet we haven't hit top 100 in the past few rounds. It's disheartening to work so hard and feel like not everybody is and just chilling there with 40 points. That said, even if I weren't in an alliance at all, I'd still be trying to get top 10. So it doesn't really matter in the end.

Wolvie, OBW and Thor is the combo you see the most for a reason. They play well together. Although I had a problem with two characters both having strong greens. Playing with Wolvie on the team means you'll hardly ever use COTS, which is Thor's most awesome ability. Unless you're just using Thor for a green battery, in which case nm. Another good combo is Wolvie, Daken and OBW.

PS: Can I please have god damn Ballistic Salvo? I swear my IM40 has been sitting at 3 blue since Christmas. I haven't seen an IM40 cover in that long, no kidding. I'm complaining here because I've learned in life that sometimes complaining gets you what you want. So /complain.

This does suck a lot. I agree that it really sucks to put up points for an event and see people sitting sub-100. Getting to 300 should be a minimum for everyone - its VERY easy to do and gets you an event token. I think if everyone were at least doing that, we may not have had the flight of people we had. Even the most casual player can get 300 points per pvp
