Mine mostly hasn't changed since the beginning of round two.
In Normal, I had everything at aroung lvl80, currently the Essentials are lvl80 and the rest are 100.
In Hard, I had everything at around lvl90-100, currently only non-Essentials are 120-130.
So few people own LT? Mine is lvl15 with cover and I'm still able to win his fights most of the time.
That said, I have a L102 LThor (unbuffed), so he just rampages through those things like Godzilla on cocaine. I've used two health packs total in the past two refreshes.
My Thor is 121 (unbuffed) and is really wonderfull to play with him in this event. He is THE GOD OF THUNDER and when he Calls the Storm people die !!!
PD: I suppose BP is also a beast in this event, mine is just level 40 and when buffed he was a killer too so a high level BP doing 5000hps+ to all the team should be something to see0 -
Due to the very worst possible finish time, 5pm, the last nodes I can do at 9 hours before the event finishes. I just made it to 250K points which will be plenty for top 50. Event scaled much better for me that last simulator. Last time it was wall to wall 230s on both normal and hard. This time around only the odd node has reached 230, Dino was 228 when I finished. So its getting better or I am playing the system better now.
Buffed lvl 175 Thor + Modern storm in Desert is one fast match even against lvl 180 enermies.0 -
I bless you with the Retractor's amazing powers (The Big Bang Theory superhero) and retract my fears of not getting the 8k ISO reward, thanks to all the amazing high scorers in my bracket it may very well be achievable yet. I'm only 20k points short myself and the rubberbanding is strong.0

I wish you would all stop whingeing about tournament finish times. This one finishes at 3 AM here in Australia like many other tournaments. The other main finishing times here are 6AM and 3 in the afternoon when we are asleep or working. None are convenient evening times but I just set the alarm clock for 2AM or 5 am and do it.
And speaking of doing it .... I just got the 8K ISO reward after using 2 Star Ares (He's a GOD!!) and his widow friend OBW (also 2 Stars) all tournament with minimal help from blowins such as 3 Stars Baby Thor, Black Panther, Dr Doom and Psylocke. They bravely took on many 3 Star opponents in 100-200 level class and won. I am so PROUD!!!0 -
Is anyone seeing 5 man alliances doing well enough for a blue Cap cover? I'd be tinykittied in their place if they had absolutely no chance at blue Cap (doesn't prevent them from doing well individually, but still). The margin is at top 250, only those alliances get the cover.0

I was looking at alliances of players showing up in hood top5 -- most were 20/20. I seriously doubt 5 man alliances have a shot at t250.
With black Hulk on horizon there may be some late alliancing-up even in this last few hours.0 -

I can't even begin to describe how much I hate missing out on that blue cover due to the unbracketed alliance system screwing over small alliances, even if they include people who win the single player brackets.0 -

This is exactly the reason why I bit the bullet, and went from lurker to active poster here to look for a larger alliance that would give me a shot at those third covers and some extra HP, since the 500 point 50 HP progression reward seems to be scrapped as well. Glad I found a good bunch in the Chaos League that share my 'casually competitive' mindset (and love for limericks). But it's frustrating as heck to do well solo, only to miss out on fun stuff because you're not allianced up properly.0 -
Time to make that final push0
-
I was able to hit about 247k before I went to work. I may try and take an early lunch to see if I can make the final push abover 250, but I kind of doubt I"d be able to (mainly because I don't think there will be any high-value nodes left, since I was pretty indiscriminate this morning) so I may just accept not getting it.0
-
Just passed and went to 258k with (well) more than 5k potential left, so guess at least top10 in most brackets will pass it.0

Gotta love rubberbanding. Was down in the low 100s this morning in my hard bracket. Just finished clearing my nodes and now I'm in third. Dont think I'll hold that but I should still stay top 50. Now if I can only get 8000 more to get to 250k in the main to get that iso reward...0

Yeah, nice when it works for you but kinda sucks for people 'playing it wrong' and grinding their way through the event in a consistent top 5 spot. I've learned my lesson but have no illusions whether it's fair or not.
I'm sitting back now until the last 30 minutes. Pretty confident of putting up enough points to get top 10 in both Round 4's and a top 10 overall. No chance in hell of making 300k points though.0 -

BP is good when buffed, too. I had him at L51 during that round with only 2 black, and he was doing over 2000 damage per target with his AoE.0 -
We'll have a ton of people above 250k.
I wonder however was anyone able to hit 300k?0 -
I leveled Lazy Thor up to 85 solely for this round. He has been an absolute lifesaver, without him I would have had an even more difficult time. He's able to take serious hits and keep on coming...and Call of the Storm is fantastic.
I feel like I played this Simulator smarter than other events. (ie. not grinding relentlessly) I don't feel too burnt out like I have in the past, and part of that is definitely due to rubber-banding. Thank you rubber-banding!0 -

That's exactly how I feel. I passed 250k at lunchtime today, and while I may not hold on to a top 10 place, it's certainly enough for a top 50 place for the 2 Lazy Cap covers (and my alliance is doing enough to get the other). It's been nice to play in shorter bursts than normal and still finish pretty highly in the event.
Bring on Episode 4.5!0 -

Yeah kinda wondering why they put the reward so high. I used to grind but learned quickly that you could get the aame amount if you waited and then played the nodes two or three times every 12 hours. Nice hoping for top 10 in both and pushing for that top 10 in the main as well. Good luck to ya. Cheers mate0 -
I'm a little worried. I finished my nodes over 13 hours ago, and some still show 1 point.0
