The Devil Dinosaur node has been surprisingly easy for me, but the Brotherhood/Psylocke/Spider-Man fight more than makes up for it. My Gold Thor isn't that great, so after a half dozen teams I eventually settled on Daredevil/C. Magneto/Ares. It still can get dicey depending on how quickly I can get AP.

As one who has benefited from the US friendly times there are enough players in other parts of the world that they should have their opportunity to have a tournament end when it is easy for them. I am happy D3 has recognized this and is at least doing it a little bit. It's only fair
    Hmm...
    UK: ends at 5pm.
    Central Europe: ends at 6pm.

In what way exactly does we benefit from this ending time? People are either at work or on their way from work. Obviously they can't satisfy everyone, but there should be 4 ending times possible - each 6 hrs, not 12 like now.

Honestly, setting it so we can pick a default end time - and factor brackets around those times - would fix 90% of the timing issues. Each Player picks a preferred end time in their settings on 2/4/6 hour intervals (whatever they're comfortable with; the shorter the better) and the start/end times are adjusted accordingly.
  • I think having two timezone brackets ought to cover most of the issues. You would have to make these brackets separate because otherwise there can be interesting interaction with rubberbanding, but I think the game is big enough to support 2 or even 3 timezone brackets.
  • I'll be doing my part at the top. I am at 241K and should push over 260 with tonight's clear and then at the end I expect I'll end up around 280. I would suspect that I am not the overall leader and so those who efficiently work the last two clears if you are at 210K going into them should be able to squeak over the 250K progression. I am realizing about 23K a refresh total of both simulators together. If I'm near the top, and I know there must be many others higher than me, setting the rubberband there should, conservatively, be enough time and points on the table for any progression award you're around 40K from at the moment. Really rubberbanding it all you might be able to pick up 50K. This is all if you have two refreshes remaining, of course.

Skimmed the top 2 hits off each stack in each sub and landed at about 236.5k. Could have reached 240k if I wanted to grind it out, but I'll save the full clear for the last cycle. Adding 23k plus what's I can see is still on the table, I can scores topping out for many around 252-255k via rubberband.

Hoping to reach 250k before the nodes fall into the double digits via rubberband to dodge a multi hour grind, as anything really over 250k is pretty much academic unless a player still really needs that IW Yellow for Top 2 placement.

You should take top spot. I'm pretty busy at tourney end but intend to hanging on to my 2nd place. I've had to duke it out for top spot with you in too many pve's over the months. Lolz
  • I timed my penultimate clear so that all of my nodes will refresh 2 hours before the event ends.

    1. 255,000
    10. 224,000

That's my top 10 range in main bracket. The 8,000 ISO will feed my big Black Panther after tonight's Hood tourney ends.

Honestly I'm probably just going to stop when I get to 250k, since there difference between top 10 and top 50 is like what, 1k iso? And you two have the top 2 sewn up tight, not that I need any more yellow IWs anyway
  • I can't get anywhere tonight with my dumb Lazy Thor teams. It would be nice if he actually took some tiles since he's hosting fights and all.
  • How's Your scaling?

Mine mostly hasn't changed since the beginning of round two.

In Normal, I had everything at aroung lvl80, currently the Essentials are lvl80 and the rest are 100.
In Hard, I had everything at around lvl90-100, currently only non-Essentials are 120-130.

So few people own LT? Mine is lvl15 with cover and I'm still able to win his fights most of the time.
  • My last round of scaling has been awesome. I only have one enemy with a level over 100 in all of my missions (easy and hard).
  • Some of my easy node battles feature enemies with levels as low as 228. It seems arbitrary at that point.

230s, with some 228s and 229s thrown in for fun.

Severely lost interest in this event over the weekend thanks to a combination of good weather, Dark Souls 2, and discovering Block Legend. I'll still easily manage a top 50 but have no urge to fight for a top 10 spot now. 1K ISO, meh!

My scaling shot up in the past 24 hours - it's around 118 in the basic one and around 170+ in the hard mode. I've never had so much trouble before and it's irritating me to no end. Oh well, almost over, no Uber Cap for me.

My Lazy Thor is level 15 green. So, y'know, 14 green before he can call a weak storm. But he also refuses to be cannon fodder. (I'm just saying, Thor, start pulling some weight.)

Uber Cap? Slightly Less **** Cap, you mean icon_e_wink.gif
  • Fair enough. I just didn't seem right to call him Lazy Cap. He's trying, he changed his outfit and everything!

and you can't even delete Cap** because they will be treated like 2 different characters.

Lol. 228? I guess I've run them out of 230s. Nice to know we're making progress icon_e_smile.gif

Über Daken makes more sense as a nickname. It looks a bit like a German boasting about his manhood.

My current levels are just about there: L108 in Hard Essentials, L80 in Easy Essentials.

That said, I have a L102 LThor (unbuffed), so he just rampages through those things like Godzilla on cocaine. I've used two health packs total in the past two refreshes.
