    Did he actually say he has a final version of a new RC ready? I thought I've been keeping up with the info, but I don't remember seeing him say that specifically.
  • Well, he worked out something that would make it far more balanced than it is now, though I guess he never said anything final.
    Here's the new balance for the card I'm looking towards - I would simply remove the Prevent Damage buff and it's associated trigger.

    This way it's still Hexproof, so it is still impossible to kill through targeted direct damage, but you can defeat it using a multitude of ways (Berserkers, AoE, Defenders, etc).

    I'll do some more tests, but this is what I'm leaning towards at the moment. This would remove the biggest issue, which is Prevent Damage, make it vulnerable to each color while still retaining some of it's power.
  • 2 possible fixes for RC. Put a counter on it when it gains defender/reach/vigilance that reads every time this creature blocks it loses 1 counter & once this counter reaches 0 it loses prevent damage. 1 card from the whole inventory of cards should not force players to completely change their builds to counter it, especially a non heroic.
    Other fix is to change hexproof to: does not take direct damage/lose toughness. That way it may be able to be handled better by decks/colors lacking quality reach/defenders. (Because let's be honest, once it gets flying/defender the # of cards to counter it drops dramatically & FORCES too many variables to have to go just right for it to be beat, if, of course, you've changed your whole deck for 1 card)
    Essentially what I do is quit the game 9 out of 10 times once it pops because the OP is not worth my time!
