I was around 780 and first in my bracket, when i put the 3-hour shield on, and in that 5 seconds i got hit for 20+ bringing me down to third.

Oh, and Kamahl, you just hit me while shielded - i saw you pop up as a target for me too at one point. We need to ensure we don't just trade points within the alliance!

Geez, we must have had some unshielded folks get hit hard as we're down to 4th now and i'm pretty sure we were over 13k a few minutes ago.

Sorry, didn't even realize it, I've been in such a hectic rush to climb back up to a position I can secure given how I've literally had people with level 60 Spiderman and 50 2* heroes beating me from 200 points. I'm at 828 and shielded, don't plan on busting the shield, I can't catch a break, I squeezed out one more match after breaking 800 and I'm just gonna chill here. Starting to get a bit burnt out by this, between the blatant power creep of newer heroes compared to old, and their bluh balancing.

What i'm going to do right now is look at the top 10 in my bracket and see who doesn't have an alliance, if we are lucky we'll find one that is in the 50 somethings we have queued

yeah, no worries - in my flurries of activity I don't even register the names of who I take on in PVP - i'll have to start trying to notice.

I'm about to make my last push. This event has been much more competitive than others. Not sure if that's 1) because most people have 3 legit heroes to throw out there; 2) BP being a reward, and he's still new and exciting; or 3) the new alliance feature that has ignited the competitive blood. Regardless, I'm looking forward to what starts next.

Sorry guys, looks like I'm not breaking 600 this time. Ever since I level up my Punisher and Patch to 100 I'm getting placed against a ton of lvl 120-141 opponents. 2 matches and my health packs are gone for the night. Really frustrating. I'll need to tank a few LRs this week to hopefully get back to some point where I can actually compete and earn everybody some points.

Do you all use boosts in PvP? It actually makes a lot of difference by killing off spider-man before the perma-stun

I think I started a bit early because I was excited about the whole alliances thing (I started this thing on Friday). I'm at 813 in 4th place. 1st has 945 so I'm just going to hide behind my shield. If I end up falling to somewhere else in the top 10 I will be fine. There's still a lot of movement though.

I generally don't except when I make the last "push" and unshield myself to try to gain an extra 100 points or so. I try to smack down the opposition as quickly as possible to avoid retaliation/other hunters.

I usually start with less than a day left, the brackets are generally easier because you every fight is +40, 3rd place right now, don't think anyone below top 5 can catch up in time

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone. Just had a thought, we should probably try to fill the last spot already, because my guess is that the stronger players won't stick around and wait until the last minute for an acceptance from us.

I think I get bored and just decide to start playing at random times. It was a very slow day at work. I'll take your advice on the next one though.

At this point there is no chance of really getting 1st. I'm trying to see if anyone is interested in getting free points for joining for a couple hours, as we're guaranteed to finish in the top 50 right now, but so far no takers. Also an update on my status, still sitting at first, gained a few points from defending while I was asleep, now at 821 though 2nd and 3rd are 812 and 805. Debating if I should try to make a last minute attack.

It's quite dangerous unless you're attack team works well as a defense team, I would suggest wait for the last 5-10 min, generally people shield by then and leave it up to fate
