Yay finished 1st in my bracket kept watching the leaderboard to see if 2nd or 3rd unshielded, which they didn't, so I decided to stay shielded as well. Saw another player climb to 801 with a few minutes left then dropped below 700 in the next minute. So I think I made the right decision, even though no one attacked me at the end.

how much iso did you get cuban, i finished 1st and only got 250 iso when the reward said it was 3000 or 2000, don't remember correctly

I ended up getting whacked for 97 points with about 20 min left and couldn't get ahead cuz I was getting hit for a loss for every win. Ended up just outside the top ten.

I tried to make a last minute push but due some real bad luck with cascades, my first round after shield break I actually lost lmao.
Made it quick after I saw there was no hope and retreated, came back out with 10 mins on the block and tried to push a few rounds either way. Didn't make the last round on time and ended with 860 just a few points shy of first place.
Oh well

Good job for us getting 4th, can't wait for more of that iso when it's handed out.

I'm not going to level him up, got a lot of heroes to level up before him, I would even prefer to level up lazy thor before I do him, that said, bp has been buffed in quite a few tourneys lately so the more covers the more powerful he gets

I ended up shielded at 794 and got 4th place, after dropping from mid 800s. I was hoping to be able to get a top 10 without shielding but everyone else in my top 10 was shielded with 45 minutes to go and I didn't want to stress it so I popped a shield. I probably would have still made top 10, but I banked 125hp from the event and got 3 covers. So I'll take it.

My BP is now 2/3/4 and level 53. He was a real beast when 'super-boosted', and I'm happy I took him up to that level but I think that's it for now. I'm most likely going to wait until he's buffed again to add more Iso, and if I'm able to compete without it, I'll probably save it for someone else.

I'm still not sure what to do with bp either. Mine is 93 with 3/4/5. so I need just one more cover. I think I'll pair him with hood and big thor. Should make for a team with a lot of hp and still dangerous. My thor's been progressing nicely already with 1/4/3 and should be 2/5/4 after the heroic jug event.

As for Lazy Thor and next steps for roster construction, I'm guessing most people in our alliance have already seen it, but if not, I HIGHLY recommend people read Northern Polarity's thread in Tips and Guides, viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3939. While the 1- and 2- star stuff isn't that important to most of us, I think his descriptions of the tiers of characters are spot on. It looks like he's going to be updating it fairly often, and right now I don't think I've seen a better and more thorough review of how to play the game efficiently.

So, I am a huge hp hoarder and I finally jumped to use hp to take Lazy Thor to 1/2/2 (from 1/1/1) and leveled him to 41 to help me with the Heroic Event (when combined with my high PvE MMR, my roster is basically perfectly constructed to be horrible in this event). In general I never buy covers but I think it was a good investment as I'm going to be able to get another LazyThor green out of it (without going 1/2/2 and leveling, I would have had no chance for even top 100, which is sad I know, but true). And long term, I think it's clear that his skillset makes him an amazing defensive option as well, possibly the best other than Hulk. Please don't think I'm obsessed with him or anything, but Northern Polarity shared a similar though on a recent thread about defensive teams (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4887&start=20, his thoughts are on this 2nd page).

I know you can all view my roster in game, but since I'm on Steam I thought I'd share screenshots for easier discussion. In the interest of putting a data point on my roster, here it is as of March 17th:

I'm not really sure who to put Iso into, as having Patch and Spidey at such high levels wins just about anything right now (sooooo frustrated I can't use them or Punisher in Heroic). I think I'm going to simply ride those two and bank Iso until Spidey gets nerfed and then revisit the situation from there. I might pump some more Iso into Magneto, but he's on the chopping block too and pretty beastly at 109 already. Mabye Hood will be taken to 99ish. What I really want/need are some black Hulks, as I have only 1. Hopefully they are available in an upcoming tournament.

I actually really like the yellow for BP, screw me. From a defensive perspective, the damn AI seems to adore getting environmental tiles, and they seem to favor using the yellow power more than the environmental stuff.

I have a 5-black Hulk and, while it's nice, his HP is so high that the anger doesn't trigger as often as I'd like. Also, his green and red are relatively weak in comparison to others, so I don't use him much.

I'm pouring iso into Hood right now. His blue, when powered up, is really scary, and there isn't another good character with a viable yellow (Spider-man is on the chopping block and Lazy Thor will take a while. Perhaps BP, but I need more covers to make him useful.).
