The environmental tiles has a usefulness, tho. Desert tiles are very strong, I'd rather use them to get green than drop a small strike tile, for example.

The blue ability isn't strong either, but I consider using big thor, black panther and hulk together to make a big wall of fatties. If black panther makes protection tiles on top of that, that's going to be a long game for the opponent, lol...

On things like the desert, I'll fire off the environmental tile benefit, draining the stuff and THEN generate a strike tile. The yellow is most useful on things like the city where I just don't care about 50 health.

I keep the mindset that BP's yellow is just to add 1 strike tile and any extra from enviro tiles are just bonus.
Although I too wouldn't use it on desert and jungle until i've drained the AP already since it's more worth it on those grounds.
I just think BP is great both on defense and offense. Personally I wouldn't want to go up against a high lvl BP since his black might waste some of my healthpacks.

I agree Hood would be worthwhile. If nothing else, seems like a fun change of pace character. Hopefully we get villain lightning rounds again this week and I can take him to 5/5/3.

You guys think round 2 of the Heroic event might have alliance rewards? If so, I might find myself joining the event earlier than I normally do. I'm also hoping they change the roster options.

We'll see. With the patch that was released earlier I'm having issues. I can play one match, but then it loads endlessly, requiring me to restart the app.

Hi guys, totally new to the board. Been lurking for a while, but just created an account so I could reach out to y'all: I am interested in joining your alliance. I was going to ask but then the event started and I didn't want to come off as a mooch. Been playing for 80 days (daily), tomorrow. Not a great, but not a terrible roster. I'm on track to get first in my bracket for Juggs tonight so long as I can spend some time securing my spot.

Let me know if there's any other info you would want! Otherwise, I'll check out somewhere else. Thanks for the consideration!

Honestly, I think they touched their toe in the water with the first alliance event. There are a lot of positives (the strong alliances are thrilled) but it kind of penalizes non-forum members as organizing an alliance is tough. I'd say overall reaction seems positive, and I can only guess that the HP spent in the last few days is massive. My guess is they are thrilled with the results of the alliances and will increase its activity, but continue to make it "secondary" rather than primary rewards.

I would guess in a week or two that we see an "alliance-only" event that is sure to stir up controversy.

BTW, I haven't booted the other two members out as right now no one else can apply, which (thankfully) makes it so I don't have to sift through a hundred applications to clean my screen.

i was 9th with 2 minutes left in the jugs heroic tourney that just ended, i decided to do a quick match to secure my spot on the top 10 and get that elusive red lazy thor cover, used some of the expiring boosts that i still had, like the 150% damage to hammer........just my luck i got a **** **** board, took me forever to do special attacks ,and by the end i just got a top 20 and 2 covers, now my lazy thor sits at 0/3/2 , got a yellow cover from a special token earlier

Was 11th with 2 minutes on the clock and about 10 points away (was somewhere around 26000).
Crashed through a quick game with some goons and finally caught that red cover

I didn't really get to do more than 3 or 4 nodes until a day before, I just didn't have enough lvled heroes from the available roster
I wasn't able to really do much until the lvls on all nodes dropped drastically
I basically just IM40 (lv 50) and M.Stormed it the entire time, it's really not fun
Don't really want to sink ISO on a modern widow either I'm guessing part 2 will be just as stressful

Got creamed in the Juggs event, was top 10, even first once, each time I finished playing twice per day. In GMT so the finish time did not suit and ended up finishing in the top 100. Nodes were becoming more challenging but still manageable without boosts. This time the finish time suits much better, but if guess that I'm better off waiting to join, I should get all the progression rewards even if I skip the first days play.

I've never tanked, but I read that you can tank your mmr by retreating in the Shield training. So I've just wiped out most of my team, as I'll need some help to compete with my mediocre, level 30 Lazy Thor, in the Thor tourney. I'll also use my GSBW as cannon fodder in the lightning round later. Anyone use any other tactics?

All this in preparation for the next Alliance event, which very well may be a PVE, according to Ice.

Regarding banners, I think if the Marvel logo could be changed to say "Misfit" it would make for a great sig. Unfortunately I've no idea how to do that.

I must be terrible at timing or something. I beat each mode like three times with the bigger ones probably ten or so. My 0/1/2 lazy Thor needs work but not as much work as my timing. Argh!
