    You too. Although I didn't have the nice bonus of a near-max covered Thor. Was wanting top 2, but I did the math, would take 3 more wins on the last node for me to catch up, and I'd rather you have a shot at getting it. Top 10 is fine with me though, it's all I was after.

    Must be a new one, else he'd just be called gold captain america. Maybe not, dunno.

    It's going to be the alliance pve ice talked about. Going to get ready to farm hard for the alliance.

    Nah I was done, my heroes were low on health and no time to heal them with no health packs left either. Those who won had low level characters and were facing similar low levels. Their fights must have been quicker to finish.

    Hrm, oh well. I got first on the first round by burning through 4 of my old heroic +150% HAMMER damage boosts on the last node without touching it beforehand, pushed me ahead by almost 900 points.

    This time around that didn't work, did it once and was still behind second by a good 400, would get ~290 from the mission first attempt, and I'd be burning through my you-can't-get-these-anymore boosts, soooo... I just shrugged. My x-force is at 4/4/2 anyway, he'll be finished off by the time they rework him. I hope. At least I still have 4 more of those boosts, makes the +50% new ones look pretty awful.

    EDIT: 4/3/5 Psylocke is a complete beast, actually debating dropping 1250 of my HP for that last red. I like her a lot more than Punisher given how much faster she is, but she has to be on the right team. On that clear I wasn't even using IM40, was using 128 Psylocke / 40 MBW / 2/2/2 Lazythor. Her black is seriously strong for bringing down the obnoxious target fast, and the attack tile coupled with her strike tile really adds up. Just need that last cover to make the initial damage from her red just a bit nastier.

    I think I am just bad at these heroic events. I shoved, burned tons of boosts, but only BARELY finished top 20. My job is...weird, and the timing just didn't work out to where I could hop on in the last hour and just pummel my way to the top.

    0/2/4 Thor though. I can live with that.

    With a No Holds Barred PvP coming up for the weekend, I think both the PvE and the PvP will be alliance-rewards. I'll probably run 3/5/5 141 Punisher, 3/5/5 85 OBW and 3/3/4 87 Hood. I really want more Hood covers to go to 5/5/3, as I think that combination will literally be unstoppable.

    IceIX recently said that the Lazy Cap would create a protect tile with his blue as well as stun. All of a sudden Cap just became a protect monster and might be usable.

    These new event times are really screwing with me, today i stayed home from being sick so i got to grind the heroic tourney and finished 4th, my lazy thor is now at 1/4/3 , had it been a regular day i would have finished top 100 if i was lucky

    291 points protect tile, thats's pretty good but iw protect tile is much better, i'm going to grind this new pve event like always, but mainly for the iso, so far not interested in the new captain

    Our alliance has an open spot right now and we're getting hit with a lot of applications. Some of you have expressed concern about growing too quickly - if someone hasn't been approved, they aren't "part" of the alliance.

    Given you guys have the best looking signature block on the boards icon_e_smile.gif and I think I meet your criteria (except I don't post all that much on the boards, but I lurk...), thought I'd "join." My name in the game is just "A_B." What may not be obvious from my roster is that I play every day (i.e., I didn't buy those covers or ISO), definitely more than I should, and they say the first step to conquering your addiction is admitting you have a problem. And adding HP is no big deal if it helps.

    I'm on GMT, top 100 in the first run, finished top 10, having played less, in the second run. It really is all about being able to play in the final couple of hours.

    My lazy Thor is only at 1/2/3 Lvl 30, won't be pumping any more ISO into him until I have a few more covers.

    Looking forward to the Simulator rounds, loads of HP available, big range of characters which suits my roster, the possibility of having a viable Captain at the end of it, and Alliance rewards.

    The new PvP is dull, no alliance rewards, Daredevil rewards only.

    The PvE, however...I think we have a legitimate shot at 1-2, which would be awesome. The buffed characters are extremely helpful. Glad to see more separation in the top 50 as opposed to last time.

    There's also alliance rewards for each of the sub-brackets with HP at the top. So this is a great event for all of us to earn lots of rewards.

    UGHHHH. I'm not trying to bring down the group guys, and I'll participate, but I'm hella burnt out on this stuff. Daredevil progression rewards (even if I didn't have him max-covered, I still wouldn't care) for both this and the No Holds Barred, Lazycap (he's slightly more interesting but still dull) for the overall bracket... can someone tell me if we at least get friggin' event tokens and not generic heroics? At least then I'll have a shot at getting my last red Psylocke... who is also buffed for one set of brackets in this event, yay. I can't keep this stuff up, blugh.

    Just do it wisely and use rubber banding as much as possible to play as little as possible. Since our alliance has 20 members, we're going to rank well no matter what.

    I'll do my best still, but no reason to get sick out of it.

    Is rubber banding global like it was during the latest Juggs (I joined with <24 hours to go just like you, you know what I'm talking about), or should I get into both brackets now and rubber band near the end for higher overall bracket points, but less sub-bracket?
