  • Permission to help clean out weak roster applicants? I noticed a couple so far with multiple lvl 141s and I'm assuming we want only the strongest for last couple spots. At first glance the best roster I saw was Deadpoolfan
  • BTW, I'm 32 (in a few days) been married for 5 years, no kids yet. Lived in Hawaii for the past 20 years but am moving to Arizona when my Japan trip is over.
  • It seems the majority of the applicants max out around 2* lvl 85s, those should be safe to boot right? Don't wanna step on any toes
  • Ouch theLadder is in your bracket? That sucks

    Oh good morning all =)

I just cant find an answer to my questions anywhere :/
Does the lvl of my heroes influence my PvE MMR or does it not?

Im tempted to max lvl punisher and putsh IM M40 to lvl 80, just to keep ppl from bothering me.. but I so dont wanna see any lvl 230 PvE mobs just because I dared to raise some lvls *sigh*

Not too sure, but you seem to have a decent size roster, so you can send plenty of characters to their death to get the levels to drop if they are too high. I usually try to kill my whole roster before going to sleep icon_twisted.gif

It shouldn't affect PvE. I had 230 mobs in TaT but all the events since then have been very reasonable. I only saw a couple of 230s since then but mostly level 90-120 mobs in the other events despite my Punisher(my highest hero) going up 15 levels or so.

Im afraid they have some sort of err threshold thing installed.
    Like:
Check if player has heros lvl 60+ yes/no --> add lvls or not
Check of players has heros lvl 80+ yes/no --> add lvls or not
    ...
And that poing with my punisher from lvl 110 to 141 will be like "oh look max 3star hero, now we can just move all mobs to lvl230, instead of lvl 50-150" icon_e_sad.gif

I think for heroic events it depends on the levels of your usable characters. My usable characters on this one max out in the 50s but my matches have guys in the 30s and 40s mostly. The "final" match was Daken 69 and two 70 mooks. The only usable character I have any desire to level is IM40 but I consider his moves too costly.
  • I just looked at who's first in the alliance rank. I don't think we'll make it lol...
  • From what I've gathered on the dev info provided on these forums, hero levels have nothing to do with the enemy scaling. It all seems to stem from how well you've been doing in PVE. The scaling algorithm seems to take in account placement in recent PVE events, PVE win rate, and health lost in matches (most likely to encourage health pack usage and subsequent purchase).

To get more amenable enemy levels in PVE events, you could tank by retreating high health heroes at PVE nodes, but that seems to lag behind and only significantly affect the following PVE event and minorly affect the current PVE event. This seems tough to do in this event as there's such a shallow roster, however.
  • I'm still in 1st place with 845 points, but only with a 100 points advantage over the next one, and you guys know how crazy this gets with a few hours left on the tourney so i'm going to do the 3 hour shield tactic

I'm sure there's still people in our alliance that haven't started yet, we could still be competitive for the top spot. The number 1 alliance is 17 members at 12,700, so an average of 750 points per member. That's totally doable, I'm at 707 right now without much effort.
  • Hey guys !
I'm not sure if i'm on the right pole...anyway if i could join your team i will be very glad !
And i could raise up the last spot (if it is needed with the 600 hp right ? )

My team : Punisher (122->can level up to 141)
    OBW (85)
Iron man model 40 (64-> can raise to 77 at max for now)

My other 2* max are Storm classic, Wolverine astonishing (85), Daken (69),
Also got Thor (73), Magneto MN (73), Captain (71).

I got 31 covers (only some i don't have and a bit useless like Venom/yelena/hawkeye (classic)/Juggernaut) and got the last one Psylocke (51, i need the blue power!!!), Black panther (18) and thor modern 3* (18).

Really hope to take place in the alliance soon as possible !
  • i got to the 700's quite easy too, the problem is going up from there, way too many low point matches and you get hit pretty hard too, while i was shielded last night i got hit 3 times for 45, 37 and and 39
  • Oh and i forget i got Daredevil (89), Wolverine patch (77), Hulk (48->can lvl up to 66).
I'm right now 12 on the leaderboard Fearless, and i really can do much better.

Yesterday i was glad to fight and win against a 141 team : Psylocke / Spidey / GSBW
  • Hi I'm looking to join a strong alliance and can pay for a slot if needed.

    IGN: Ballatician

My roster has maxed covers for Punisher (141), Spidey (115), IM40 (128), Ragnarok(105), C.Magneto (90), Patch (60), Dr. Doom (52), and close to max for the rest of the 3*.

Please let me know if there would be space for me in your alliance. Thanks for your consideration!

With the tournament ending in about 13 hours, we still have two openings. With a large amount of effort and the right pick-ups, we could try to push to number 1, but I'm guessing SHIELD is going to win (I see Nemek, The Ladder and walkyourpath on their team, and those guys don't lose).

One thing that we COULD do with the last two spots is use them as rotating members. I.e., find someone good late in a given tournament, add them, place in the tournament and subsequently boot them. Their efforts don't go unrewarded, and we reap the benefits. I'm find leaving the last two spots open for now, as I am guessing we don't make 1 (and there is no difference between 2 and 50; currently we're at 5 but I know most of us are waiting to do our big pushes) so adding even 1400 points or so may be negligible.

I'm fine doing "open season" and finding two forum regulars. A few people have reached out on the forum, but they all seem to have just created an account, and with no buy-in being necessary anymore, it's probably not fair to let them "stumble" into a dominant alliance.

    Thoughts?

I agree with you, we can just keep those two spots open and recruit new people with a lot of points at each events. Sh.i.e.l.d. is probably out of everyone's league anyways, I don't think we could finish first even if we tried very hard. I'm fine with finishing 2-50 tho, and to do that will be easy enough.
  • Morning y'all.
I still think we doing pretty good. Who knows, maybe we still have a chance at first if we do get to fill the last two spots with rotating high pt players.
I would suggest we get close to SHIELD's score though, maybe around 2k off. As of right now that'd be around 11k so about 610 each person which isn't bad to reach.
Maybe say around the 3 hr mark when we have a more solid idea of where we stand, we can see how many points we need to make up for with the last two spots.
But then I'd also suggest having the candidates shielded and waiting until around the 1 hour mark before we add them for a shock and awe effect to our competition.
This can send them into a frenzied panic and less time to make good decisions.

Seems my bracket is pretty competitive too. Waking up I'm just barely in first.
Two other guys probably got motivated by my push to 800 last night and decided to just inch out slightly over me.
However, I wake up to 4 successful defense victories and got bumped to 850 and stayed on top of them. They must be pissed lol.
Think I'm going to stay shielded at 850 and monitor the situation, competition seems to be pretty rough all around for the first alliance event, I'm only in lead by 6 points lol.

Edit: added pic of current situation

    I'd say it's possible.
