  • @kidicarus: 900pts? i think for sure you gonna be in top 10. For me, i use patch/obw/spidey. the benefit of having spidey at level 100 is that obw can tank blue and purple color. once berserker rage is unleashed, a match from obw deals 1800 dmg! if my patch had 5 green, obw can deal 3600/match. ridiculous right?

kcwei: he probably didnt realize that. i let him know icon_lol.gif

@fangel: how much iso reserve do you have now? u seem like never level up your char icon_eek.gif

That's the problem with tourneys so far... Sometimes I recognise a familiar IGN (alliance) and I would skip that person. Most of the times I don't. I seriously hope that devs will implement an auto-skip for alliance members, or at the very least have an icon to show you that the person is from the same alliance.

Yikes icon_e_sad.gif I'm really sorry about that. It was totally unintentional.

I think my main problem is that my aging brain is having trouble remembering 19 names. If you put a gun to my head right now and order me to list down all my fellow alliance members, I wouldn't be able to name half (I would also cry a lot, but that's beside the point). Anyway, that's my bad, and I shall now go spend a few minutes trying to memorize our alliance list while slapping myself on the face as punishment.

By the way, I'm currently shielded at 500 until around 4 AM, so everyone please feel free to attack me as much as you want for free points anytime before that.

That would be a very helpful feature!

MPQ is on Steam (PC). However right now you cannot link your mobile MPQ account with the one on the PC.

Yeah, that would be a useful feature. The other day I was attacked by Hanse too, was gonna retal but I skipped icon_twisted.gif

    Currently holding 750 for TBTI.

Unstable ISO seems to progress really slow now. Probably massive surge in points for the next few days?

I can't get decent matches for TBTI - stuck at 661 for #5 but had to skip so many times for good opponents with decent points. icon_eek.gif

As for Unstable ISO, yeah, lots of people in the event thread is also around 20K++ for first place or so. Most of the progression rewards seem unlikely unless the nodes provide more points in 3 1/2 days.
  • Oops.. Sorry. I usually just whack without checking the names. you can just retaliate, I don't mind. I'll try to look out for allies. icon_e_biggrin.gif Anyway, I think I scored pretty decent in all events so far, but will be gone for 11 days in mid May. I've gotten about 800-900 for all PVP event so far, TBTI should be no diff.

What you guys think of this idea, if everyone is agreeable, we all will try to get at least 1000 points for a chosen event (decided by Comd Pucco sir!). The top alliance rank reward is 500HP so maybe worth some shield if we can focus our effort. Think we can try out this strategy, if the rewards is some old and **** character (e.g. IM40), the veteran team will not be so willing to grind it out. Plus 1000 is usually enough to win top 2 in individual, so the reward adds.
  • I think many of us never pay attention to whom we are fighting. It's very normal guys icon_e_wink.gif
I bet other alliances have experienced it too.

@hanse: it's awesome if each of us can reach 1000 pts, but i dont think that's viable even for SHIELD.
i never see them reaching 18000 pts. The current reward structure doesn't really encourage us to even be in top 10, other than bragging right. icon_e_smile.gif . And i dont think you need HP anymore (not anytime soon i guess) as u r so strong already.

Things could have been different if the reward is a 4* char though.

Anyway, i dont want us to put too much pressure on ourself. For me though, i always try to get 800pts for the team. But sometimes i take a break when i get too weary and only get around 500-600 pts.

I guess shadow is right. A-Force is home for the casually hardcore icon_cool.gif
Many of you are silent killer type. Gets the job done without much blabbering.

    Splendid guys!
  • @kidicarus
Nope, dont need any more 4* covers.

    @pucco

AApproaching the 400k mark soon! Keeping them around 100 is more than enough to remain competitive in all events. It also makes it easy to adjust which covers take what colours.

The First Avenger rewards look good for me as I surely can use more GSBW covers. Pushing a bit if possible, but my MMR is getting more horrible as I'm getting tougher opponents. Might send out a tank team for next PVP tourney or LR depending on the rewards. How often do you guys put out a tank team?

Update: I guess I need to level up my A.Wolvie and Patch for next TBTI or skip it completely. Got myself up to 5-6th place only to get hit few times and dropped 77 points... gone back down to 14th. Sad day. icon_e_sad.gif
  • the most effective time to tank would be during LR. I'm not too sure how many times you need to tank, have to ask kidicarus for that.

I'm not too excited about LR anymore due to more people playing, so i might just tank on every chance i got when LR is around.

Good job on getting to #11 guys!

SHIELD has 18907 pts, which means 945 pts/member. Super hardcore -_-"

The competition in TBTI this time is more fierce than usual.

No worries about that. It was during LR, everything went too fast paced. I would have missed checking the names at that time too if I was pushing fast for the top rewards but I was aiming for diabolical token/

I agree with Hanse. I feel we should target a chosen event and see if we could manage for the top alliance reward. Not that we have to do it often though

Yes, tank whenever you could for LR, I would take a 5 min break from work when a new round starts to put up a tank team if possible. For the usual pve, I would put up tanking when I hit the 500 pts mark, and push again the next day

Got my green IW for TBTI icon_e_biggrin.gif

Lets push for 3 GSBW covers for FA. Black Widow pvp coming up after

Ok about tanking. There is no magic number as to the number of times you need to lose to reduce your MMR. You will notice it in the teams that you meet. Also, I've recently learnt that tanking LR while having the benefit of earning ISO, is not the most efficient way to reduce your MMR. The most efficient way which also feels the cheapest, is retreating in shield training. I've verified that by retreating my most unlevelled heroes first. By the time I got to half my roster maybe 16 heroes dead, there was a noticeable decline in the levels of the teams offered up to me,

  • we might be able to reach top alliance reward if there's another Lone Star Skirmish.

or...., we can try to reach top 2 in unstable iso? but the event ends when i'm working..

theladder is #1 with 1121 pts in my bracket. sometimes i dont get it how he can get that high. maybe combination of tanking, forum influence, intimidating roster and timing? he went from 400 to 1100 in 2 hours if i'm not wrong.

i cant remember skipping anyone if it gives me decent pts. the toughest i fight was 3 lvl 141s BP/Lazy thor/Hulk coz the huge amt of hp they have. had to use 2 sniper rifle to put them down.

if colossus is coming, i will definitely start building a defense team.

i always think defense is kinda useless, maybe i should give it a try.

Found this out from another thread after I asked about the fastest combo:
Patch + C.Mag as core + whoever you are require to use. If there is no requirement then best pair with a BP or a Hood. (a punisher would also work)

Berserker rage + magnetic field/ projectile is the fastest winning combination right now( AP build up wise only take like 9 green and about 6-8 blue to infinitely spam your enemy to death)
Or the raging combo of patch and BP for instantly massive damage win.

On topic, I dont think it is that hard to get from around 250 to 900 in an hour, he could have got some defensive win as well which make his climb even faster.

it's a pretty fast combo and it is one that I use - not sure about climbing from 250 to 900 in an hour, with my roster, progress is slow as I'm picking my fights to ensure they are unlikely to retaliate. I only fought maybe 2 fights towards the end who had rosters above 100. Also, magneto's magnetic field animation is slow. I'm shielded at 975 currently because again I'll be travelling so can't monitor the end of lazyshieldbro's event.
