I haven't joined a bracket too. I made that silly mistake before in the sim.

I will join later after work @ around 5pm, off-peak hours. Can't really play a lot tonight, watching winter soldier.

Unstable ISO should be less stressful than the sim.
No Sub brackets. (means less iso and token rewards)
More nodes will appear over time, but there's no exact timing. Most of the time it's 24 hours. Sometimes 12 hours.
More goons.

Good thing patch and OBW are buffed. Those two are deadly when paired together.

Pucco: It's a April Fool's day joke to change the character names in the forum. I think it's back to normal once April Fool's day has ended.

As for rubberbanding and what not for the ISO-8 event, my bracket has some hardcore grinders I think. I just did one round and I'm around 500-1000 points away from the leader. To get the 2 Human Torch covers you'll have to be in Top 50, which is what I'm aiming for to keep myself from burning out.

Hope that we maintain Top 100 in Fearless Defender. Hulk Black is nice!

Just wanna say thanks for helping me understand tanking. Put out a tank team for 3 LRs today and my MMR dropped and gave me more manageable opponents. Gonna do this more often!

Have to say I'm very impressed with the way Pucco has improved our roster at his own expense so I want to say a big thank you for that. Also warm whale cum to all our new members and I hope you enjoy your stay here!

R.50 means we'll have an additional way of communicating besides the forums so we can exchange tips, hints and coordinate strategies going forward.

On my part, the latest best there is tourney has a tricky finishing time for me as I will be flying 2345 hours Friday night and landing at my destination 7.15 which means its really going to be tricky timing my shields. Hopefully I can tank my MMR low enough so I don't get attacked too much Saturday morning but I can't guarantee a decent finishing position.

Hey all,

While the cost of expanding is quite high, i feel really good as we have really strong, dedicated, casually competitive players in our team.

Hopefully all of you can squeeze out lots of rewards out of this alliance .

@kensterr: my usual entry point is 5-6pm after work. can't join too late either because we need more points for alliance rewards.

Didn't manage top 2. Only top 10. Not having any healer means either having to use HP on health packs or starting the final cycle earlier. I don't think using HP on health packs is the right choice for me at this stage so I started the final clear almost 6 hours before end time.

The alliance features implemented in R50 should be good for the alliance since it brings with it an in-game chat feature and the ability to make sure everyone does their part in contributing to a strong alliance.

@kidicarus: the easy way is to put up 24 shield when you reach 800pts. Or you can put up 8 hrs shield before take off, then continue when you arrive, but that'll be such a hassle.

Yeah Im going to be busy over all weekends in April & early May (doing a course) so anything finishing midday at weekends will be a pain, but ill still do my best

I'm gonna be away for a few days in June. From now till then, there's no issue. And after I return from my trip, I'd be all-in again. But hopefully I can get at least a 3* cover during the trip otherwise being locked out of nodes during the following PvE will be bad big time. The essential nodes do provide big point advantages and are usually less affected by scaling. I initially considered that a person can always make a comeback by buying the 10-pack. But these days, the 10-pack doesn't guarantee getting the featured 3*.

Had some time at work so I pushed to 914 and put up a 24hr shield at for TBTI. Hopefully that should be enough for first. I think Fangel is in the same bracket - not going to touch the game till after the tourney end so if you really want first you can go for it.

edit 2 observations:

1. Patch is a beast when combined with magneto - I levelled him up to 115 for this event and he's one shotting everything with his 5/5/3 build. He works really well with my 5/2/5 Magneto - the 5 in blue really helping with getting the 9 greens required for berserker rage as well as mopping after. Sometimes it's better to push for 10 pink straight away and that's a magneto instakill for a lot of heroes. With only 2pts in red I can see why a lot of people like 5 pts in red due to the strike tile synergy but I really believe that will get nerfed. At the moment I'm pairing them with IM40 and his battery usually means game over but otherwise he doesn't really contribute much - Maybe on defense it's different. And when my BP is ready I can use him for the yellow and black powers for the full rainbow.
