In other news the wife and I went and picked out a puppy this weekend, he has been a delight so far but is also making MPQ time more sporadic than usual

There has been reports of children and cats having extra good luck when it comes to drawing gold from tokens. I wish I could tell you that it includes dogs but evidence is inconclusive (I don't own a dog and haven't read of people allowing their dogs to open tokens)

The big push came 3 hours at the very end, during the deathliest of times to hopping around unshielded. You bears (fresh) cut is so close! Giving 'ol DD a heart attack too

The bad end time combined with not needing covers mean I might have a lower than usual score this next tournament. I'll probably throw up a 3 hour at the end, but if I get hit a lot overnight I might not be able to make up much. I will tank at the beginning, and that usually minimizes the hits, though.

Yeah there was a lot of bracket whining but I seriously haven't seen competition this intense lately. I didn't think L.Cap was so sought after. This is the first time in the last month or so that I haven't been able to make top 5 when I was actively trying to do so.

The most annoying thing is that, of course, I have myself to blame. I tried to push a little too much during one shield hop and tried a third battle instead of stopping at 2. This resulted in me ending up with the same score after shield hop as I had before shield hop

Is it me or is the forum being swept by a wave of negativity at the moment.

I'm curious how the game is doing financially.

I got a Black MoStorm from a recruit token So at least it's looking up now.

Still missing having more bears to chat to but it's nice to not stress much.

This PvE is still manageable even though I won't be around long enough to have a fully covered Captain Marvel. Her abilities look so weak currently anyway. Although I hope I'm wrong, it'd be nice for there to be a top tier heroine. She-Hulk seems to have disappointed.

The negativity seems to have gotten a little better to me. Seemed like everyone was upset/cranky/angry/annoyed/burned out for a while but lately it seems like it is only some people with a hornet in their pants, and some people who seem plenty happy trying to keep the peace.

As the other commanders already know, and as has been posted on the CareBear calendar: http://teamup.com/ksf1c4d6d833b45d53/, I'm on vacation at the moment and tonight my mother- and sister-in-law are arriving from Europe for a 12-day visit. Having house guests and playing tourist guide will seriously cut into my MPQ time until August 3rd, but I should still be active, at a minimal level, during this period except for next weekend from Friday to Monday.

In my opinion it seems like the forum has just been a place for people to come and complain about the game since day one. There's still some positive stuff and helpful people but the negativity and whining always seem to be the most prevalent. But I think it's that way with a lot of things in the world, not just MPQ. I think most people today just feel way too entitled.

My favorite posts are people asking why they are being punished by things like lone star tourneys. Entitled is right.
