Yes, first two weeks is usually just eat/sleep/poop but after that there could by some problems (statistically more often for boys) with third option and you can play real life MPQ (Measuring of Poop Quality, including color, amount and other measurements) like my wife did

Given that I've already sold two Yellow IWs, I'm going to actually take it easy this season, I think. It doesn't mean completely checking out, but it does probably mean fewer 900+s and more 600-700s. I don't want to screw things up for anybody - I'm sure some people need the covers - but it means I'll do some atypical stuff. The first of these is I'm going to start the first PVP late - possibly as late as Sunday - since my LazyCap is already cover-maxed, and I'd like to get in a really late bracket for the season.

Part of the reason for that is I just finished a MAJOR leveling side project, probably the biggest I'll ever do. I spent in the neighborhood of 300k ISO on it. Over that time I did the following (the level shift happened during it):

She-Hulk from 30 (old) to 127 (new): 72 levels
Sentry from 51 (old) to 135 (new): 59 levels
Human Torch from 53 (old) to 127 (new): 49 levels
Lazy Daken from 89 (old) to 135 (new): 21 levels
Falcon from 89 (old) to 135 (new): 21 levels
GSBW from 102 (old) to 135 (new): 8 levels
Baby Torch from 15 (new) to 20 (new): 5 levels (I realize this barely counts)
Juggernaut from 30-40: 10 levels
Modern Storm from 40-50: 10 levels
Total: 255 levels

Sheesh. Next thing is leveling up the now 19-person varsity team from 135-140, at which point 3 people hard cap and two more (Sentry and Lazy Thor) soft cap, unless I get some more covers for them.

So… yeah… S4 is upon us.

I also have vacation coming starting next Tuesday for 2 weeks. I'll do my best for Captain Marvel covers for us, but I won't be able to grind the tournament ending, most likely.

Like Ben Grimm, I really do intend to take it easy for a bit in PVP, in particular during my vacation. That probably means ~700 points and a single shield for many events, unless a recent cover is involved or there are specific requests by some CareBears.

I also have 5 IW yellow already… Summer time is vacation time!

I think the IW news is a blessing, we can still play hard and have fun, but if the sunshine calls us away there is that much less pressure and worry about the overall season. I am torn, I too have a max ShieldBro like Ben, but Psylocke is my number two and am looking forward to letting her hurt some people.

Wait or dont wait, these are hard decisions.

Season 4 and that Invisible Woman reward. Kind of lets the air out. But for Seasons 1 through 3... was I really playing for that Fury reward? It was pretty much a trophy that I've never used. For me, this just lets me focus on the PVPs one at a time. We're still a team, are we not?

We still have plenty to battle together for. We have a new PVE and many of our "younger" players still need some sweet 3* covers from PVP. Maybe I won't hit 1K per PVP, but I'll still be in there. Play well all! More than ever, it's important to communicate. How else would I know if you're taking it easy or dropping out? How else would I know if we need to mobilize for an awesome PVP award?

Hopefully, not having a season loom over us will give the devs some time to experiment. And if still happen to take home a top100 this season, all the more proof that this Stare ain't all fluff.

Once those muscles atrophy too much, we won't be ready for Season 5!

Thanks everyone! I'm learning a lot, myself. But luckily I've got a pro on my side. My wife has worked as a full time nanny for the past 6 years or so.

I'm kind of annoyed the way this balance of power tourney is turning out. I just don't have the right guys leveled for it. Plus you just end up going through so many more health pack than normal because so much damage is getting dished out.

I'm not sure how I feel yet about the season 4 rewards. On one hand I'm upset that there's nothing cool and new to work towards, but on the other hand I guess it's nice because there's way less pressure to grind my **** off for PvP points.

Of course I'll be spending plenty of time grinding PvE it looks like, with the new Cpt Marvel being rewarded there...

Sorry DD, I was taking the wrong stance on the new season. With the IW as a reward all of our opponents will relax and get squishy and soft, but we are carebears, we have the natural advantage in all things squishy and soft and we will use that against our enemies. They will take a rest but we will keep on staring and we will claim victory when they look away!

But in all seriousness the one cover from season's end is merely a tease. The real meat and potatoes comes from each event and doing well in as many as possible. I think having a less pressure season will only make everyone enjoy it more and get the most out of the game without quite so much stress.

There's an up and a down.

The UP - Means we will probably be seeing Fury instead of IW in the revolving rewards for 1st place PvE and PvP.

The DOWN - Those crazy people from X-Men and the like that already have maxxed out Fury will be grinding for those 2000 points in PvP, on the basis of denying others the satisfaction of achieving those Fury rewards like they did with XForce and IW in the past.
OR
Seeing as how they no longer need to grind those 2K points in order to achieve the end goal of acquiring those Fury covers at the end of the season, they may let up on the gas a little, no likely, but possible.

Since my Steve is already maxed out and he is being offered in progression rewards and event rewards right now, I have also gotten one from a heroic token this weekend. So yes there are still 3*s in there, also yay more Steve?

In other news the wife and I went and picked out a puppy this weekend, he has been a delight so far but is also making MPQ time more sporadic than usual
