I don't know if I agree. I think fatigue is going to weed out a some veteran players. Staying in top 100 seems easy enough if you want it enough.

I know that if I ever see us below the 100 mark then I'll definitely try harder. I'm sure some of the others feel the same.

We've been getting good rankings with adam and Panduras out. In the future we might have some trouble but for now, we're pretty OK

I am not sure I want to get another point in this tourney...

I am about 4.5K off the 130K token, and have about 10K on third place in the main bracket. Pretty sure top 2 is in the bag.
Not even sure, with the final rubberbanding AND some 395 x 3 grinding I might, maybe just get there.

I dont know if its worth trying...

@DD for alliance chat, mine still broken.

I pulled a Blue and a Red 3* mags from the Alaska tokens.

So, for PVP, Top 25 suits me just fine. Not going to kill myself going after IW in this one. As the Red + the Purple from alliance will give me 13 covers for him.

So, DD, you have plenty of time to catch up. I even shielded early with only 860. Now, considering that tacks onto season points... I probably should have kept going, but, 10 days from the Hunt... Oof!

All I got from Alaska was 2 Bullseyes. Two!!!

I'm in a similar place... I don't need Mag blue... just purple. Just nice to hit a soft pvp when everyone is busy with pve. I spent like 400 iso queuing up some fat targets if I want to do some sneak attacks at the last moment. But I'm in a tough PVE bracket and I might be battling for top20 till the very last moment. Oh well. I guess we can make up some season points in Shield training where I'm... let's see... 54,000th place. Wow, it's cold down here at the bottom.

Figure, most of your targets will be soft and worth 45 - 50 points. You'll be top 10,000 in no time!

The Hunt recap - late edition

How we doin'?

We pulled it off! Rank 20 in Florida, rank 11 in Savage Land and... rank 53 in the main! Get ready to purchase a slot, cause we're all getting Falcon covers!

Amazing work everyone! Trophies going out to Tonzil, AgCenturion, and Kamu in the main.

And... what about the Doctor's Order PVP? Seemed like it got a bit of neglect at the end. We squeaked out rank 100 exactly (11472). I think the rank was comfortably mid-60s a couple of hours before closing and well... hahaha! Made it by a hair (don't know who else was running pvp toward the end, but Infinitys8end8 said he threw some points in during the final hour... awesome!)

And the Falcon event? Punisher rewards? I think we all could use a break. Maybe everyone throw a couple hundred for the Season score, but I don't know if we're going fight that hard in this one. But then again, everyone does what they need/want to do anyhow!

On an extremely serious note, what's up with Falcon's profile pic? All the other heroes and villains either look away or seem to be looking "through you". But Falcon is looking right at me... like his eyes follow me around the room.

You will be missed and it was a class act to wait for the event to finish
Should you decide to come back, doors will always be open, although i know how addicting this game can be, a real time sucker. so maybe its for the best.

Assorted post-Hunt thoughts:

- I won a PvE for the first time! Hurrah! (I wonder how long it will take for my scaling to get back down to something I can manage. It was probably not worth it).

- Thanks for all the points vb2r, and good luck with your non-MPQ (or less-MPQ) pursuits!

- I'd love a Punisher red (alliance colour this time around) as I still need a couple of those for my lilbunnypunpun but would completely understand if many of us took it easier for Top Gun.

We've have some communication beforehand, so while it's not a shock, it's certainly still a bummer. vb-2r was one of the CareBearStare originals who took a chance on a random alliance with a silly name. We battled (i.e. Match-3) alongside each other for the last several months and we were pleased to have vb-2r on our team.

Thanks for being a part of our team. Take care of yourself. And to echo ichijuan, if you ever decide to return to this game, you'll always have an alliance home with CareBearStare.

Truth be told, I wouldn't mind grabbing tht Yellow X-Force... That would be the last cover I need to not have to worry about him for a while... (unless respeccing)

Completely understandable, whoever needs to scale back after that horrible event. I hope they are not introducing a new cover (Lazy Daken?) because I think they burnt a large portion of the community with that last event.

I had a good chunk of free time Sunday morning that I spent mostly playing MPQ. So I racked up a reasonable amount of Doom PvP points and shielded up. Then I kept going back and forth on the hunt sub events and ended up getting a fair amount of points for the day. I ended up top 100 overall so I got 2 Falcon covers (1 thanks to alliance). I really wish I had been able to play more last weekend but it is what it is.

I used Falcon in a couple matches of the Top Gun tournament this morning and like him well enough so far. Missing his yellow ability really kind of sucks so I'm going to try to put in extra effort to reach 1100 points and get that progression reward cover... I'm not sure if I'll pull it off or not.

For you guys that score that high more regularly: do you have to shield a lot to get there or do you have any good advice?

Where did you hear about Heroic event? Those are usually 2 days at a time so that's ok.

I too would like Punisher red to max out Punisher with my prefered spec. 3/5/5. I'm thinking of doing a late entry again, thinking last 14 hours. This time I got robbed by BestHasArrived alliance guy. In all fairness he beat me by almost 100 points but I was sad nonetheless.
