Tonzil, you really gotta spend serious time tanking. That inevitable Spidey nerf is gonna hit you hard. Getting L400s without Spidey is gonna be brutal.

I used to have a huge ISO reserve (around 80k) when I was stuck with maxed Thor and maxed Daken. I basically had nowhere to go and no outlet to spend ISO. I mean I coulda just burned it randomly but it wouldn't advance me at all. I slowly leveled my B-Team (leveled Ares big-time just for Dark Avengers tourney, had to level A Wolvie a while back for one of the wolvie tournaments and put random levels into C Storm) but still... I had a huge ISO reserve.

Then Heroic Venom happened and I got Cap to 2/4/4. I'm kinda at a fun stage where I just put ISO into the 3* tourney hero just as a test run. I leveled Cap to L70 during the Cap tourney just to try him out. Liked him so now he's my highest hero. Put some into Punisher to try him. Put some into GSBW. I'm now at 20k ISO. Still pretty decent but I can no longer just do whatever the heck I want with ISO.

I do spend a ton of time tanking... That's the worst part.

I just don't know where to go next. I mean, I know LT is gonna be the next tourney and we will be needing to get some love into him. Spidey nerf is going to be bad for a lot of people. When they decide they are going to nerf OBW as well... Thats when 400s are gonna hurt everyone and they are going to start pushing for IW/X-Force/Fury? 4* teams capped at 230 (boosted to 350?) to go against 400s!

Thats going to create a horrible vacuum effect of unbalance super teams and the rest...

So, what would you suggest?

On a different note, once I finish this Alaska node... I think I am going to stop grinding Alaska, cross my fingers and hope for top 50 - on principal of being OCD and an old school gamer...

I'm just going to ride that Spidey-nerf whenever it happens. PVE scaling might have gotten a little crazy now, but it'll settle down a bit for the next big event (please, give us a couple days break...) And the devs will tune it again anyway so it ain't permanent.

On another note, our next alliance assignment will be to figure out a way to avoid MPQ burn out. We should just pick an upcoming event and just SKIP it. Oh wait, Seasons... dang.

That, and someone in the alliance is bound to be pinning for the covers of every event. Our rosters are quite disparate depending on when people started the game, when they took breaks, etc.

lol, thats good observation Milkrain and I think what you wrote is pretty funny as well. It does kinda look loony with one guy only lvling heroes to 85 and people only lvling 5 lvls at a time but I guess goes the saying there is a method to the madness . For an alliance thats suppose to be an active/casual alliance you guys rock! ^^. You guys have some hard hitters in your alliance who normally rank high in tournaments and from all that I've read so far in your alliances thread you guys seem to know how to have fun and be dedicated at the same time in the game which I think is a nice blend and is awesome ^^. I been talking with Decoy Duck through pm so maybe soon I will be apart of you guys as well. I do think it was meant to be since you guys are exactly the fun/dedicated alliance I am looking for but at the same time I just remember my name is Boogerbear after all so like I said I think it was meant to be -haha-, I guess that mean I will have to give our opponents the Boogerbearstare with my arms crossed until they get grossed out/tired of looking at my booger hanging out and quit.

Just in fairness to all the Care Bears and to Boogerbear, he's just going into our waiting list. There are no current plans or discussions to remove anyone from the alliance. On the upside, maybe you haven't been hit hard by the scaling-stick yet. My enemies are starting to approach the upper 200s, and I'm still trying my unscientific PVE tanking methods. You're points matter to our alliance, adamLmpq! Thanks and keep it up!

I never want to use the G word (guarantee), but we're going to work hard so we can get everyone at least ONE Falcon cover. Y'know, just to take up a cover slot, trophy around, and use as a token placeholder in the next event(s).

There are so many things going on now with the PVE and the Seasons thing. I'm thinking the strategy for Seasons is to try to end the PVP events (currently HollowPoint Kiss) with some scores! That'll stay in the bank for Season 1. Unlike the Shield Simulator, you shouldn't be able to lose those points once they're banked.

I just got two assault team tokens from the last sub event ending (1 from my placement, 1 from alliance placement, thanks!) and got two 3* covers that I needed! Woot! Some nice luck!

I got a Human Torch and a Black Panther.

I've had pretty good luck with the Event tokens - I got a Green LazyThor earlier, and a Yellow Invisible Woman this morning. Also a couple of 3* I had to sell (Red Rags and Red IM40). And a bunch of 2* autosells (though I got a couple Yellow Storms I used to respec).

Event tokens have not been too kind to me so far...Have pulled an unprecedented string of Bagmans (6 straight). Almost made me consider just adding him to my roster - ALMOST. I did pull a green HT and blue Lazy Cap in my last few pulls so there's that. Hoping for way better luck with the last few tokens from the home stretch of this PVE because at this point I think I'll need a little more than just Falcon to feel like I accomplished something, especially with the power adjustment they've made to him. Come on string of blue doom covers!... lol

I'll be right there with you (more like a distant second to you lol), Tonzil! I need all those Mags rewards, mine is seriously under-covered. Luckily my Doom is at a mildly respectable level so the going shouldn't be too tough.
