I have to say that the name and alliance "tag" has been a great ad for you guys on the forums. It's one of the reasons I left the first alliance that offered me a spot.

Joining paid off straight away as my alliance reward token for Florida subevent gave me black HT

No one is kicked - I think the D3 servers are messed up. It's affecting everyone. I'm going to take the wait and see approach.

Yup - the glitch cost me the last ten minutes of the PVP and the sub, which may have cost me a cover. I have no idea how I did now in either event.

So 4* Nick Fury for the top 100 alliances at the end of this "Season 1"...

It's going to be interesting to see people kicking people out and mercenaries popping in and out of alliances... This is going to get really entertaining, to say the least!

Fantastic job everyone! Red GSBW + iso + HP - don't spend it all at one place!

This was nice cause mid-day events (at least in North America) are usually not always easy for us. But, as we typically like to do whenever we get new alliance members, we try to put on a good show for our first outing together. And we did it well. Everyone not on vacation was able to contribute, even if it was just a bit. With Season rewards though, it's going to demand more and more PVP out of us.

A birdy whispered in my ear that an introduction is in order, so here goes:

My name is Berkowicz and I'm an MPQ-holic. Steam ID originally intended for my real life friends to find me easily. My forum username (Milkrain) is something I came up with when I started playing Starcraft 2 and I've kept using it on forums and Reddit. People with dirty minds tend to think nasty thoughts when they read "Milkrain" but that was never my intention, I just like Milk (and NO, I'm not 10 years old)

I've been playing MPQ on PC since December. Loved the original Puzzle quest so I was instantly hooked on this. Currently unemployed in real life so my days are spent applying for jobs and procrastinating with MPQ.

This game has actually gotten me into reading Marvel comics just to learn about the heroes a bit more. My knowledge previously was limited to the Blockbuster movies. When I started drawing covers I was like "What the hell is a Bagman?" etc.

Started my own alliance (Liquid) when the system was introduced in order to get a friend into the game. I started feeling a bit down about the Alliance system since a 5 man alliance can accomplish nothing. It seems that it's hard to build an alliance unless someone spends a lot of real money to open up all the slots. I was trying to earn enough HP to buy slots but it's too slow. That and the lack of communication with the other members made me decide to jump ship.

EDIT: I briefly joined the newly formed S.T.E.A.L.T.H alliance but having seen the CareBearStare signature images on forum posts made me really want to join this alliance. I urge all member to add one of the images available as it serves REALLY well to promote the alliance.

Now that I'm here I hope that we'll be able to consistently place in top 100. I'm happy to see that you Bears chat in-game as I love some banter.

I'm an EU player so I suffer during the end of PvP events. Twice now I've set my alarm for 4 am in order to make a last push to secure top 20.

The new scaling system for PvE hasn't affected me too much yet. I'm seeing enemies at <200 levels which is ok still.

I'm liking the new PvP change. I'm not getting hit as often, but when I get hit it's for 40+ points. But I like this change cause it means I'm less likely to get hit while I'm putting up my shield which has happened twice before and cost me top 10. I'm extremely bad at timing my shields correctly. I buy the wrong shield at the wrong time and am later forced to get an 8 hour shield when there is 3 hours 30 min left, that type of mistakes.

My 3* transition is nearly complete.
My main heroes are:
Psylocke 128 (5/5/2)
Punisher 115 (3/5/7)
Black Panther 89 (2/3/4)
MN.Thor/C.Storm/OBW/MN.Mag all MAX

Really want to get my hands on as many Falcon covers as possible. I think he could work well with my top 3*.

I'm open and easy going overall, so let's have some fun

Hi guys! I’d like to thank you all for welcoming me to the Alliance so quickly. Just to give everyone some background information on me, I’ve been playing video games since the Atari 2600 came out and I’ve owned most consoles that have been made, even such winners as the Atari Jaguar, 3D0, and the just slightly over priced Neo Geo. I’ve been playing the puzzle quest games since Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords was released on the Nintendo DS. Adding Marvel to the Puzzle Quest formula is a combination that I will not be giving up anytime soon.

So here are some quick facts/details about me:

My Gaming Name: RWTD_Burn. I’ve used this name for gaming for over 25 years now. RWTD (Run With The Devil) was a Day of Defeat clan and Burn was shortened from BurnFan that was from the MLS team Dallas Burn (now FC Dallas) RWTD went from online strangers to friends that would hang out together all the time and though we play many games together anymore but we still get together for hunting or camping trips annually.

Play Style: I rely heavily on the Black Widow (original) for healing and pair her with one tank such as the Hulk. I’m mostly focused on PvP at this time due to the lack of depth I have on my team. As I get more 3* and 4* powered up I’ll be playing more and more PvE. I’m making it a point now to play it more often so I can add some value to Alliance in that category as well. I’ve never been big on the pay to win model of games so I’m not spending a lot of cash to build my heroes quickly. I do spend $5 a month though to support the development team.

Personality: I’m a laid back kind of guy. I don’t talk smack; I don’t dish out the insults or labels; and I don’t get insulted easily either. That being said, I do like to joke around in a friendly manner. I know the value of teamwork and have always enjoyed it, be it in sports or gaming. I’ll welcome any advice and strategy people can give me.

Now if you’ve made it through the wall of words I just threw up here without falling asleep, I’d like to say thanks again for welcoming me to the Care Bear Stares.

I was a big player of SC:BW, and played some SC2 when it came out (bottom masters... like lowest of low masters. But hey I was Top 8 masters in 3v3 in one season and the self-proclaimed best FFA player in the world!!!). I also played a lot of DS. I like Pokemon BW2 (playing X right now, oh yeah I got a 3DS about a month ago), Prof Layton, Etrian Odyssey, 999, Ghost Trick and Phoenix Wright. Especially 999 cuz the math in it is really cool. So just from that tiny little bit of text (yeah, that is nothing) I already have something in common with both of you

Berk, that's one hell of a Punisher. 7 red covers. Most people disagree, but I think that's the best build

Welcome new members! I hope you are enjoying yourselves here. With more active players i guess we wont have the thrill of watching the alliance rank oscillate between 98th position a 105th, with all hands on deck, unshielding and trying to get those last points to secure a top 100 finish
I think that happened twice.
