Would you really go to all the effort of spending HP on an extra slot and then dump all that ISO into a character? It would be mighty amazing of you to do as our commander in chief but surely you need that ISO for other characters that you have yet to max?

If you do it then I'd vote for:
1. Hood - Difficult to get that blue if you can't score top 10 regularly.
2. Hulk - 5 in Black is also very difficult. I've yet to manage despite playing for ages.
3. LThor - Super versatile and tanky

ALSO, I didn't realise how long your heroes would be "away" so I sent Psylocke 166 and BP 161 to Infinity and BP was part of my best combo in the current PvP

Actually, aside form the slot purchase, the recommendations are all just characters whose abilities are level independent like Loki's abilities or OBW's steal. It would just be a thing to do instead of trashing the characters. Plus, buying all these extra slots makes money for the devs and publisher. Cause if it didn't make money, then money money, and money.

If you're going to create characters just for loans, focusing on a single, non-level dependent skill might be helpful. Think MBW's Blue, or OBW's Purple, or even IM40's Yellow - create the characters with just the one skill, don't put any ISO into them, and you can control what skill you're loaning out that way. Loki's Black could be invaluable to Patch users or Daken opponents.

Yeah, as was already clarified the suggestion was only for level independent skills, so no ISO would be involved (besides the cost of NOT selling the covers but that's minimal)

Here's a list that was suggested in another thread:

Venom 0-5. Group stun.
MBW 0-5. Group stun.
Loki 5-0. Trickery.
Loki 0-5. Illusions.
Punisher 0-0-5. 40% health insta downed.
Daredevil 5-0-0. Trap steals 6 of all AP.
Spiderman 0-5-0. 1 turn stun for 5 AP. (this would do just as well with one cover unless there's other web tiles makers)
Magneto (MN) 0-5-0. Produce 5 blue tiles.
OBW 1-0-0, 2-0-0, 3-0-0. Steals AP.
IM40 0-0-1, 0-0-2, 0-0-3. Generates AP.
Dr. Doom 0-5. Converts Blue to Black.
Bagman 4-0-0. Switcheroo. Marginally useful.
Hawkeye (Classic) 5-0. Crit tile.

I'd also say Cpt. America's Blue skill would be worth while too for the stun and then blue AP return

You are so right DD, I completely forgot that passive abilities aren't included in TU's. Silly me

Loki's trickery wouldn't be a bad one to have as a TU.

Definitely make a couple of Storms and maybe M.BW. Stun abilities and cheap board shake-ups are really useful.

Now that teamups are trashable. I plan on trashing all 20 of mine and replacing them with Rags from the prologue. His red is 6AP but generates I think 4 random green tiles. I use them when Im one green AP short. Or his green when I can't find any good matches just to try and shake up the board a bit. I think the other good ones have been mentioned. Cmags is good too just to lay down a couple quick defense tiles. Lets see who else, Psylocke for a 6AP attack tile. Somewhat level specific but more useful after you've dropped a few strike tiles.

DD, this is a lot of tedious effort when a person only gets to use that ability once (right?). Then you DD have to make choices of who you give your 3 TU/day to. Lots of effort with potential flak.

This new PvP is messed up. The villains are too boosted. My C.Mags is like level 332. Seems way too ridiculous. I get that it's to discourage use of ANY Heroes but that sort of boost is dumb.

Started this game about a week ago and I am completely addicted. Placed top 150 in the Hulk event, top 50 in combined arms and I am currently top 150 in nefarious (despite not having too many villians..).

Im looking to join an alliance willing to give me some time to build a winning line up. I am very active and will give you decent points towards alliance awards.

I would love to get into the top 25 to get three psylocke covers, as that would put me at my first maxed 3*. However, with Ares being my only maxed Villain (Juggernaut is too, but he is not boosted enough to make an appreciable difference), I'm not sure how well I am going to do. I'm going to try to go for at least top 100 to get one cover minimum, and I'm confident the alliance will be within the top 100 to get a second, and then maybe buy the last cover. We'll see...

Psylocke is pretty good, but I'd be hesitant about spending HP to max her. I'm not going to say don't do it - she's not in Spider-Man/IM40/Loki/LazyStorm tier - but she's probably a third-tier 3*. I can understand wanting to get a maxed 3*, though, and you could definitely do worse.

Interesting. I don't know how the patrol time is determined but it's really not too bad for what I just sent to Sir Phobos.
