The Cave is officially full now 8/8.

I can't afford opening another slot. I'm 150HP short, but I will open that slot up when I can afford it.

I don't think anyone is waiting to get in at the moment. But when that time comes it'll be 900HP. I'm at 725 at the moment.

I have 5K accumulated so I'll find a time to hop in the cave to add one. If it's full though I'll need someone to hop out first so we'll need to coordinate a date/time to do it where an event isn't about to end.

Maybe we should wait til after the Hot Shot event though seeing as there is some time limit to how often you can alliance jump.

On a side note, the Hot Shot event is wiping the floor with me. I'm losing to Hulk a lot more than usual. I'll probably finish top 100 at best.

Seem like everyone is running Hulk lately. Ive had to do a lot more skipping to avoid the long fights and inciting anger. I dunno. I forgot the event ends mid-day today. I got 700 which is probably going to get me top 100 in my bracket. Im 26th at the moment.

How are there 8 people in the cave right now? Who? Those slots arent getting cheaper. Not sure if its worth paying for if people are just gonna be sleepin.

This is not a bad thought but I wonder if that will make us feel even less like a team? Could we say we expect a minimum amount of activity in the bear cave still? I mean, if you're quitting the game all together what difference does it make?

I'd say I'm willing to drop about 1000HP into the Bear Cave if it's necessary. This alliance has earned that much for me, at least.

On another note, more Spider-Man rewards which means he'll probably be the featured PvP over the weekend. I think I'm about ready to start earning points in Sim to close out the season

I agree. I love our alliance and all of my fellow bears. I'm willing to purchase a HP package to buy the next spot so we can all stay together. The "Stare" is for "active-casual", the "Cave" is for bearcation and super casual for those who need a breather.

Ditto. Ideally we will eventually get the bear cave to a 20 member alliance so we'll have a home for both the casual and hardcore players and not lose members of the family as playing time slips for some people. That way we can put the "care" back in carebearstare.

I think AgCenturion has gone completely cold turkey and doesn't play at all so I'd be tempted to kick him as he said he would uninstall MPQ alltogether. I'll monitor to see if he's played anything and then maybe kick him.
EDIT: I removed him as he's not even shown in the alliance score summery for the last event which to me means he's uninstalled the game altogether.

If people want to pay for more HP to help the cave that's up to you, but I'd certainly not encourage it. That being said our chat is finally seeing some activity which is very nice to see. I'm going to try to hoard some HP for future slots.

Hey all, I've popped in at the perfect time I guess.

I've had this game uninstalled for a while now but I think I had some HP left (2k or so?) so I can quickly go in and buy some slots. Hopefully I can afford two.

The slots are getting expensive though and it might need to become a pay for your slot system that a lot of alliances used to build their roster!

Here is my strat for Hulk event.

Join on the last day and play like a lunatic for that one day. Hopefully that places me in a lazy bracket and it'll be possible for me to win a Fury.

I want one with the Thing in it and couldn't find one with the Thing and something Care Bear related. I was going to make one myself but I haven't gotten around to it. Remember back when I posted a bunch of images? That was the result of me looking for an appropriate one.

I agree - I like seeing the random sigs from our alliance mates. It really sticks out as we hop from one forum thread to another. Certainly, I see "team" banners like those from [Just] or XStatix or ScarFighters and those are beautifully done... but the randomness of ours speaks to the randomness of our team. It isn't some top-heavy organization with command and control structures and voting systems and authorizations to post on the forums... rather, it is a team where the members ally together to play well, be decent to each other, and have a good time. I'm happy NOT seeing a bunch of post from our members crying foul and unfair or flaming others with rude remarks. We recognize the game mechanics have flaws, but we have a good time in spite of them.

Some alliances have philosophies or structures around them... like geographic location, language, F2P, etc. We don't seem to have one. We have diversity in our geography, languages, and play styles. But one thing that is important is that everyone here is self-motivated to perform but recognizes they are part of a team. The moment I hear, "I'm going to zero point this event cause I don't like the reward and I don't care about anyone else who needs it"... well... there's no team in that.

This is a group of unique people. Unique strengths and personalities. Unique approaches to the game. But one thing in common... is that they know how to be part of a team.
