I have enough... but I haven't triggered it yet. Oh man, should I? What am I saving it for? I mean, I still have tokens that do 20% extra damage to doombots saved up. What am I saving THAT stuff for?

We haven't talked about obsessive behavior for awhile...

I haven't fired it up (I don't know if I would need more purple covers to be able to…) but this video was posted somewhere else on the forum: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7TJCVCf9fE&index=1&list=UUlE-8Bd_-rXt4et4zTWsDqw (terrible quality, you are warned).

Gives a pretty good idea of what to expect. Also, there is something inherently silly about a cyborg taking a bunch of whales to the face.

    Crazy DecoyDuck rant time!
I agree - I like seeing the random sigs from our alliance mates. It really sticks out as we hop from one forum thread to another. Certainly, I see "team" banners like those from [Just] or XStatix or ScarFighters and those are beautifully done... but the randomness of ours speaks to the randomness of our team. It isn't some top-heavy organization with command and control structures and voting systems and authorizations to post on the forums... rather, it is a team where the members ally together to play well, be decent to each other, and have a good time. I'm happy NOT seeing a bunch of post from our members crying foul and unfair or flaming others with rude remarks. We recognize the game mechanics have flaws, but we have a good time in spite of them.

Some alliances have philosophies or structures around them... like geographic location, language, F2P, etc. We don't seem to have one. We have diversity in our geography, languages, and play styles. But one thing that is important is that everyone here is self-motivated to perform but recognizes they are part of a team. The moment I hear, "I'm going to zero point this event cause I don't like the reward and I don't care about anyone else who needs it"... well... there's no team in that.

This is a group of unique people. Unique strengths and personalities. Unique approaches to the game. But one thing in common... is that they know how to be part of a team.

We really like your unique sigs - it speaks of individuality. Our favs are User's, Adam's and yours.

Before Fritejay left, Jan had asked him to make a sig for her that presented a blue bear saying "STARE" (User's is so cutely angry!). It didn't get made, unfortunately.

She's thinking of changing hers, but we're not accomplished sig makers like Fritejay. If I made one, it would probably be awful icon_razz.gif

Have a nice S4 ending, everyone! SF is #37 right now. Since IW = no pressure, it was a much easier Season to take.

P.S.: you can be #36 if you want to. We'd enjoy the company icon_e_smile.gif

In case anyone was wondering, when I think Ben Grimm, I think of this:

I actually asked Jim'll Paint It to do one, though I don't have a clue if he will or not. If he does, I'll use it; if not; I'll keep this in mind as a fallback. Where'd it come from?

    Very nice, then.
  • Looks good Ben, also pointing out we are now on page 100. I wasn't around to help with most of that but a delightful milestone nonetheless.
  • Finally Ben, I can sleep peacefully.

Also, I'm getting murdered in HPK PVP icon_e_sad.gif
  • That was pretty much why I hate PVP in purest form, with an added touch of why I hate teamups. I managed to crawl above 800, but I've got a lot of people down.

I'll have a slightly better round of subs this time, but this is the worst I"ve done on a PVE since my noob days. The times are aggressively unfriendly for me, so I'm not going to worry about it - there isn't a single cover I need in this except the Fury, which I"m not getting, so I'll do what I can do and not sweat it too much. Weekend will be better than it's been, so I should put up a semi-respectable score, at least.

I will probably shield-hop pretty aggressively in the next PVP - probably 4 three-hour shields starting some time after 1:00 pm eastern (probably after 2:00). I'd like to finish off my She-Hulk if I can.
  • I will try to make this as quick as possible but I've noticed once I start writing I get in the mode and end up writing an essay -lol-. I have asked DD to remove me so I can go to the Bear Cave. Lately I've been more busy with less free time to play and some pve's and pvp's that ended at the same time were killer for me and burned me out, well there are other reasons for me also all put together. I been holding off on going to the cave cause a part of me told myself I can still do this and I didn't want to wake up each day not being able to see alliance chat anymore and to see what everyone was up to -lol-. I guess there is 2 things I will miss most about the game. One is as I just mentioned... I didn't want to not be apart of alliance chat anymore, to not be able to see what everyone was up to anymore cause for me the company of all of my Bears around me is part of what kept me going and made the game fun for me ^^. The other thing I enjoyed most about this game was how our alliance as a whole all worked hard together each week to get top 100 in pvp. Some of the pvp's were bloodbaths with new covers everyone was fighting for so competition was super hard yet somehow through hard work as a team and with determination! we still were able to make top 100 ^^. I know one of the pvp's we came in rank 98 and another one we actually came in perfectly at rank 100 ^^. We had members play till the very end of pvp's and some did a hop at the very end to get in a few more points which helped us barely squeak in top 100 ^^, Team effort baby! Stuff like that is what I will miss most about this game.

For a month now my points have been dropping more and more each week and I just don't have it in me anymore. I see everyone else is still working hard though each week putting in points so I don't think its fair for you guys that my points just keep dropping. I don't want it to be just cause of me if we don't make top 100 or top 50 cause my points were too low so thats when I told myself its time for me to take a long break in the Bear Cave. Time for me to Hibernate in the cave and contemplate the meaning of life -lol-. All joking aside I smile now as I think not only will this be good for the alliance but it will be good for me as well. I think now I will be like Berk, well be the Mercenaries for the Carebear Stare. Well be waiting and well rested in the cave and if need be we can be called upon to fill in for a spot in a event for if someone else goes on vacation and won't be able to play any at all so we can still help keep our points on pace for the nice alliance rewards ^^. So ya I won't say goodbye cause I will still play for fun once I've had a chance to just get away from it all and I will be in our Bear Cave ^^.
  • We'll miss you BoogerBear, do hang out with us here at least! And enjoy the Cave break.

    Welcome to the cave icon_e_biggrin.gif
  • Great to have Boogerbear in the Cave.

I'm about to enter the Hulk PvE today. Let's see how this little experiment pans out.
  • I think my marvel puzzle quest skills are broken. tried three fights in the pvp event and lost all....
  • I have been getting more of that too, oh this fight should be easy ...or everyone died, that is cool too I guess
  • Well got some points now. Seems to be better now ^^
  • I might skip playing PvP all together and maybe do an all nighter to get the Fury. I'm 35th at the moment in my bracket after only 5 hours icon_razz.gif

The progression rewards are probably out of reach for me but who cares.

This is looking promising. Also a relief to not have to worry about letting the alliance down.

EDIT: Who am I kidding. I'm not going to get top 10 even if I murder myself by staying up.
