    Is r47.0.CL175306 the current version?

Umm, no. Again, numbers are still being tweaked, so this isn't final. But you'd buy 5 +1 All AP boosts at 50HP instead of 3 +3s for 100 HP. We're not trying to change pricing in any real way here. Same goes for the current Iso based boosts.
What about mission and progression rewards, will they also get adjusted so the net gain stays the same?

... Im really curious about this update ^^

And just so Im not sorry later I filled up all my +10AP buffs with proloque mission rewards xD
(I figured if they really retire them theyd prolly exchange those too, so...)
  • Can you clarify respect functionality, is it:
    1) I can install all 15 covers and change build at will.
    2) I can install 13 covers and will need to get NEW covers from token any time I want to change set-up, LOSING "downgraded" skill covers forever in process?

    Number 2

    when you have 13/13
one new cover goes in, one old cover goes out.
    or
Pay HP to upgrade one AP ability, choose which one gets downgraded by one.
  • Too bad. Ability to change 3 chars on the-fly for synergy would expand metagame considerably.

Agreed. but that would be too much fun.

Also, does stacking a boost mean that you can use (for example) 8 of the same boost while still using 3 different boosts? Or does it mean that you can use the same boost in all 3 slots?
Still three slots, still 3 different Boosts. Some Boosts will allow you to stack them on that slot though. So you could have say (in current Boost numbers terms), a +60% Red/Yellow damage 3x stacked slot, +6 Blue/Purple Starting AP slot, and a +100% H.A.M.M.E.R. damage slot.

EDIT: Whoops, was supposed to be +60% damage, not AP. icon_e_smile.gif

Please add a 'remove all boosts' button to the interface. It was cumbersome this far and with stacks will be even more so.
  • I now committed 20$ to a 5 blue spidey. No news on a nerf. Tired of losing out to people with him

bah, not 'pay to win' at all...

This may sound somewhat minor, but I'd like to suggest you have the option to delete a cover/level from a character. As opposed to only being able to replace.

There are a handful of characters that are arguably better with only 11 or 12 covers instead of the maximum allowed 13.

Yep, some characters get worse by adding cover unfortunately. That should not really happen in the first place. Say bagman should be able to act on fewer things for less AP with option to more and pay up. Venom to stun just one character for 4 or team for 7 with all covers. (While OBW should cost at least 10AP in all purple cases just improving the effect)

It's not. It's free to play. Nobody is forcing him to spend the 20 bucks to get those covers. I didn't spend 20 for my 5 blue Spidey.

Well then it's not pay to win for you, but it is for him lol. It's also pay to win PVP if you've spent any money on shields, but I know through smart play in the past it's been possible to shield and still come out even on HP. Previously pay to win games have made me want to puke but this game is so well done I don't mind paying for what I really want.

I think you just have a different definition of pay to win. In most pay to win games, a "free" player will never beat a paying player. In this game there are plenty of opportunities to earn ingame currency. For example, if you couldn't open 3/4 star characters in tokens, it would be pay to win.

It's clearly not P2w when a bunch of nubs are getting the easy road to victory icon_cry.gif
  • Even though I just sold my thor and wish I hadn't, Im still really happy about the respec option going forward!

I guess maybe. IMO having to pay for shields in order to keep your spot at the top of the leaderboard in PVP is pay to win. If you don't pay, you don't win. Unless your team is so scary that nobody wants to attack you. It could be argued that the ability to pay to max covers on a character instead of waiting until one happens to drop isn't necessarily pay to win but more like pay for the convenience of not having to wait. In my mind it's pretty clear though that the ability to pay to make your roster better is the very definition of pay to win. whatever, I'm fine with it. Many people have an averse reaction to this type of mechanic and will not pay out of spite just to see how far they can get without paying a dime.
  • Guess it is time to start saving my tokens vice cashing them in. I've been saving covers for respec purposes but currently have sold them off due to timing out. Need some green Thor covers now!

This doesn't make sense: you don't have to pay real money to get HP. the 500 progression reward gets you enough for a 3 hour shield, and you can get more HP through placement awards. If HP wasn't obtainable this way then sure, this would be P2W, but as is, you don't need to spend any money to do well in tournaments. Your definition for P2W seems to be like "you can spend money to do well" whereas I think the general consensus for P2W is that you MUST pay money in order to do well, which simply isn't the case in this game.
