Pretty sure the base value for the big ISO fight in the hard is higher. I believe it was 2500 when I first attempted it but I could be mixing that up with the ISO reward.0

The base value went up to 250, because it's 2500 on my bracket now. The max modifier for rubberband is 10X.0 -

With full multiplier, it goes to 2500. I suspect the base is 250.0 -
Oh interesting, the hard mode has 250 iso rewards instead of 100 iso.0

The first round had Token/100ISO/250ISO/500ISO, this round has replaced 100ISO with critical boosts. They're definitely tweaking along the way. The challenge mission going up to 2500 rank points is another example - probably not enough people on track to get prog rewards.0 -

I was going to shoot for 8000 iso reward at 250K, but I don't know if I have it in me, even with the upcoming long weekend. Especially since I got so lucky with main bracket placement, not feeling any pressure to grind as hard.0 -

Yeah, and the 250 iso was replaced with the critical boosts in easy mode. I guess they wanted to make more of a distinction between easy mode and hard mode.
On another note, this Magneto/Punisher/Daken team for this round is just straight up silly.0 -

POWERED UP MAGNETO FOR PRESIDENT.
I want to marry him and have his tiny magneto babies. I want to start a religion -- Magneto-ism and also a fan club where I am the founder, president, and sole member
LOL You can literally drop an entire team of even maxed out level 4 characters if you get the board right early on and he's teamed with the right 2 people. He's some kind of wonderful atrocity. If he's paired with any combination of chars that have strong yellow or green attacks he's just dropping fools left and right. I'm pretty sure I had a turn that lasted 5 minutes against the Invis woman team. Magneto with any other 2 3* characters can't be defeated by the AI even with them being fully maxed out. It takes more time than anything but you will win 95% of the time.
If any of you are having trouble trying leveling mags a little bit and pairing him with your 50 storm and 85 thor or with OBW. You should be able to take down the harder challenges. Those who have higher characters can pair him with Hood, Doom, Hulk, 3* Ironman, patch, etc. I've recorded a bunch of videos of his ridiculousness while I grind this event (I *WILL* get psylocke, period end of.) I just need to upload them to youtube.0 -

Him + daken is my new favorite team up for this round: strike tiles make the free magnetic fields ridiculous. If I had 5 red, I bet that would be just as crazy.0 -

According to the progression rewards and the policy of making people joining late to have some chances, every round the values might increase a bit across the board.
But the rubberbanding so far looks based on subs and not overall progression, so making the most of each round is vital for the final placement, if you did not start in some super late main.0 -
Ack. My Daken was lvl 6, I've just upped him to 34 with all the ISO I got today. My Moonstone 4/5/4 is lvl 15. I don't have Magneto! (I'm guessing he was one of the earlier cover drops in the game? I've never seen one, and I've been playing since December.)
Need more covers, need more ISO!
However, I'm strangely enjoying this. Hard mode kills me, but 'normal' is a challenge for what I would call my mid-tier roster. It's a bit of a grind-a-thon, but it's fun using different combos of my roster to try and beat as many rounds as I can. I'm currently 3rd on normal, and 55th overall (forget Hard...). If I manage to get a Psylocke cover out of this, I'll be well happy. Would be happier if the sub-75 placement awards weren't 2* Wolvie though - I could have built him three times over already!0 -
Someone asked what simulator basics looks like on a fairly new account?
I just started the pc version to test this. I can't get through to hard mode yet (with just lvl 1 IM and lvl 1 storm), but the simulator prep has all level 1's (for both prep 1 and 2)0 -

I disagree. Obviously all leveled up 3 or 4 stars are tough. Hood, Doom, Hulk, Patch, IM40.... They can't completely run a board for minutes. They do super damage and have high health but they don't do what magneto does.0 -
Wow, I'm glad I decided to stay up and bang out the big ISO missions last night when they were ~50e/75h. After getting home from work I check em and they're 148e/230h.0

Playing hard mode and these Level 138 goons get literally 8 countdown tiles at ONCE 2 moves into the game and just destroy the entire team and you honestly have no way to stop them unless you use boosts, which is just dumb. Just annoys the **** out of me.0

Magneto is way overpowered in this round. You can flat out overpower most enemies even when they're at level 230 with Magneto, though I always have Spiderman just in case.0

I'd be loving life right now if my Mags was at a respectable level. Guys that normally do Lighting Rounds and level up their villains must be having a field day. Too bad they didn't boost the heroes, but then everybody would have a field day LoL0
