yup i've been using him as my damage dealer in everything but the loki events where i sub in patch.

I'm devoting the next set of subs to get my Pun up to 110 to catch up with Patch and Hulk.

IM40/Spidey/Punisher is a good team for the Dakken/X-Force/Maggia node. I was able to grind it down to zero without any problems. Remember X-Force wolvie is garbage, even at high level, just keep dakken perma-stunned and be mindful of the maggia countdowns, they can sneak up on ya.

115 rags 92 mags 90 spidey

Just sooooo many strike tiles and I've not had any blue heavy boards. Been taking 1 down each try.

That's a stun and steal fest, I like it. I only have my OBW at 55 though...I'd have to pump some ISO into her to give her a shot.

My patch is maxed at 41 right now...hopefully I can get the progression covers from this event.

So far I've been pretty much doing all the hard missions with Moonstone + Spiderman. Patch is sort of there for the ride since I only use Berserker Rage when I have a stunlock and by then the game is over anyway. Moonstone can also defend against CD tiles in limited capacity. Gravity Warp is usually an easy 2K damage with a clean board and that's halfway there for taking out most problematic characters (The Hood, Magneto, Daredevil).

90 Peter = The Hood or Spidey?
70 Tin can = Doom (Not IM40, right?)
96 Fire Crotch = 1* or 3* Black Widow?

I had a much harder time with Daken / X Force / Muscle on easy mode today (at about lvl 90) than I did on hard mode yesterday (didn't notice the level, but way lower than 90 (yes, you can all hate me). I finally did it by dumping some ISO into C Storm to get her from 31 to 45 and running 66 Loki, 45 C Storm, and 45 Cap. Worked pretty well. I boosted (+3 all, +3 b/p, +3 y/r).

That's my goto team for the game in general at the moment (with Loki, in fact), but it's problematic for any of the Loki missions. My Loki is lvl 66, and he grabs one color from Patch and two colors from OBW, which makes both of them...suckier.

I'm still playing around, but I've been using Punisher on most of the must-have-Loki missions. Depending on the opponents, I either still use the **** OBW, or Spidey (at 34 blue, ugh), or occasionally someone odd like Cap.

I have Spidey (praise web-slinging jesus), but have you tried Storm/BWGS combo. I was chaining Lightning Storm/Deceptive Tactics in the previous PVE with spectacular results. I would use Punisher as a third to laydown strike and attack tiles and cleanup with retribution. Bascially turns into a race between BWGS and Mags for enough purple to start the chain reaction.

Unfortunately, no BWGS. I have started to build up some *** but the two I'm lacking are BWGS and spidey. I have a Punisher at 53, so I may try him with OBW and Cap A since he's buffed. I don't really know how I feel about pouring ISO in Cap A though

I suggest Spidey Pun and BWGS if you have those three characters with good covers/levels for the Daken/X/Muscle fight.

Fairly easy and you have rainbow synergy.

I'd save the Iso for Punisher or future 3 star characters... I only break Captain out of storage for PVE where he is required, and even at minimum level the power-up gets him into a useable range.

So my strategy for this is to basically ignore Psylocke. Yes I would love to get her and see how she evolves with more covers/levels, BUT I'm not going to kill myself with stressing about placing well in the main tournament. The only way to place highly there is to do hard modes repeatedly and I drained my large Health Pack reserve yesterday when their levels were lower. I'm just going to aim for top 50 in each event. I want those powered up packs for my hulk. I know I won't hit number 1, but with a lot of effort I could probably do top 10. Even with the increased rewards, I'm gonna save myself a LOT of stress (not to mention boost iso) by just shooting for a lesser reward.

P.S. Anyone else nuke themselves by forgetting Moonshadow was buffed and eating a 4k photon blast?

P.S.S. Also going to chime in with hating the very idea of community scaling and different levels for different people. I don't have 230s (yet), but it irks me that my game changes depending on how good/bad other people are doing.

I actually don't mind the community scaling. I think it's a direct response to rubber banding frustration. As someone who has fallen victim to many a late surger who timed their runs better than me, I'm happy their Johnny come lately strategy is going to be that much tougher to execute. That said if I was trying this event forty days ago when I was still running a Thor/1 star/1 star team, I'd probably be **** and moaning too.

If you're doing fine, just stockpile your ISO ad decide later. (However leveling to 40-50 has no serious cost, but enough to try out)

I've been running GSBW in place of Iron Man. Gives me extra board control, I don't have IM and spidey fighting for yellow tiles to web / countdown and if I have a board with limited blue then I use her purple to kill as many green tiles as possible while Daken s in a 1-2 turn stun.

I have her 75, her red is way better buffed as well as purple, her black still sucks. I use purple for extra damage here and their.

Just got the Hard node with Daken at level 172 using 85 OBW, 25 loki and 110 punisher. It was close got my 15 blacks to turn a 10 strike to protect tiles then I just denied AP and healed till they were all dead punisher retribution is key on these huge HP guys. I don't want to get doing this multiple times over the next 8 days or whatever though.
