    As soon as he gets one black off, I've lost half my health. I don't think I am going to able to hold out.

    Third time was the charm for me. Getting Shadow Step off early helped a lot, as did the red starved board.

    2/0/3, level 127 is just not enough. Me not having any black is bad.

    I came close-ish once and losing boosts en masse. If he gets purple you are done and black is done a few turns later.

    After such an unpleasant and bitterly disappointing anniversary, this is really just compounding everything.

    Not sure how much longer to keep trying.

    I have a 1/2/1. Should I drop the HP to get another cover for her, or is it going to remain hopeless? I tried once, and got him close to halfway down, but that was some lucky early black, I think.

    Spend HP on her? No.

    It's highly unlikely you'll make it but the trick really is a very lucky board. I ALMOST had it once but one slightly silly move and I was done.

    Even with boosts, you just aren't going to be able damage him enough before he gets off a single purple or black or a handful of special tiles, at which point, you are done.

    I personally wouldn't spend HP on a cover for a barely covered 4* to get one legendary token. That's better spent on roster slots and/or the last cover you need for a top tier character, like the 5th IF purple or 5th HB red/black.

    2 try with Elektra 270 553. The key is to quickly get 7 purples and 10 black. If Blade obtain 10 purple and / or 10 black before you're down. Largely depends on the luck of not having cascade to the Blade.

    I have an Elektra 1/2/4, level 135 Elektra and it was a rough, rough fight.

    It took me 11 tries, the opening effort and then burning all 10 health packs.

    In all 11 of those efforts, I started with 5 or less black on the board and what always felt like a LOT of red. I got a great cascade of red and black and within three turns or so, I was able to fire two black and two red. Blade went down a few turns later.

    Even with a well leveled and covered Elektra, there is SO much denial that has to take place in order to win. Purple with a couple strike tiles on the board? You're done. Black does 3K damage and drains AP. And those strike tiles go down doing an extra 93 damage each. Crazy tough fight.

    Where's Bullseye when you need him?

    EDIT: I got an IW yellowflag.png for my troubles. Feels like such a defeat. icon_lol.gif

    She is my 2nd best 4* at lvl 175 4/1/4.

    One shot it! Had 2 Ballet of Death going the whole time, Shadow Stepped once when Blade used Nightstalker.

    I must have gotten a lucky boarrd. First try, 3/1/3 L152 Elektra, he never got a power off while my two Ballet tiles whittled him down. And got an Old Man Logan out of it, which means my roster will be complete again in a few days witht he daily reward Surfer.

    I did it on my second try with my level 131, 2/1/3 Elektra. I saved up enough purple to cast it three times when his passive finally triggered (so a lucky red starved board to start off with). He was never close to firing off any of his powers, so I used black twice to prevent match damage instead. My red trap tile survived for like 3 turns, but I think my match damage was insane with the stolen trap tiles, so I didn't need to use my red at all.

    Lvl 120, 2-4-4 Elektra got it on the first try w/ no boosts. Luckily Blade chased green while I got enough Purple to steal his strikes once they started coming out. Then it was basically a race to black, which I won, with shadow step time, I could kill him w/ strikes and red.

    I'm 2/1/3, 131 and beat it without ever firing black. Hang in there!


    I really, really enjoyed this battle. I just bumped my Elektra to 131 yesterday for this event - with only 6 covers she isn't very useful in my roster yet, so I'm not familiar with her play style.

    I loved the balance between managing red tiles on the board to allow blade to get s trike tile or two that can then be converted, but also keeping red low enough to keep a ballet of death tile on the board without being over-ridden by one of his strike tiles. Oh, and don't ever let him fire black or purple either. A good challenge. Took me 6 tries.

    Not sure if im happy or not.

    I tried once with my 1/2/2 Elektra and failed badly.

    With 4 legendary tokens saved up, i thought id cash in 1 in case i get Elektra so that i wouldnt feel too bad. Bam! Elektra purple.
    Thats cool, thats cool, now thats out of the way, i shouldnt get Elektra again. Bam! Elektra purple.
    I probably should have stopped but theres no way i can get another Elektra especially another purple. Bam! Elektra purple.
    With my last token, i managed to **** slap myself into not using it. Will live to use it another day...

    In other news, finished DDQ easily with 4/2/2 lvl 166. ****.

    I lost the first four or five attempts. I kept trying to deny Blade as much of red/black/purple as evenly I could but just ended up spreading my own ap collection too thin and he'd get off his purple attack which was killer. Finally won by focusing on just purple, let him build up his strike tiles then I Double-Double-Double-Double-Double-Double-Double-Double Crossed him and then just finished him off with a few matches and match damage did the rest.

    I have tried with a 2/3/3 130 (so quite similar), and Blade destroyed me all the times. I think you finally beat the node because you had a very good board. In all my tries I didnt stand a chance (allways lost with Blade having more than half his life). He just needs match damage and some strike tiles to kill me.

    As I said in another thread I doubt anybody without a almost covered Elektra (10+ covers) and 180 level stand a chance. Yes you can get lucky, but this is not how it should be. A 270 level Blade is too much for a 150-13 level Elektra.

    What was your level / covers ? I will try your technique to see if it works. I also tried to deny all colors and got wiped every time...
