The Hulk has been run since the standardization to 24-hour subs, but the format guide doesn't seem to have a summary. There is a 1-time reward of a Hulk Green about halfway through.

    Yes finally we have confirmation that legendary tokens will be awarded - it is seriously about time that we get 4*s as pve awards, 70k is nothing over a 7 day event...if you play like me anyway icon_e_wink.gif

    Yep, part of why I tore through it. I wanted to be a good position to get a Legendary Token.

    even less than optimal play will get you that, its usually around 3-4k per clear, 3 clears on a 24hr sub plus a grind, sign me up...if this were a 4 day event then yeah, I might sweat a little but still easily done

    Has anyone considered that the availability of the Legendary token progression award, may make it hard to get placement awards as more people approach something close to an optimal strategy? Does anyone care, since the placement awards are effectively devalued by the inclusion of a Legendary token?

    Not sure I'm going to go for it this time, although I have all three essentials so it shouldn't be too hard. There's bound to be a three or four day PvE coming up shortly where you can get a Legendary token for 60% of the effort put in. Also I have about a 50% chance of not having roster space for what I pull from the Legendary token anyway.

    I'm annoyed that the Hulk rewards have black as top 10, since I only need that one cover to respec mine. At least it means that it should be in the progression of the next PvE I guess, though I'm hoping for a bit of a break before Iceman PvE. I'm not sure how much I want to be grinding through against Hood/Juggs/Mystique etc...

    was this all planned all or just a cosmic accident??

    I usually shoot for t1-2 anyway and could use the Thing red, I also need one more Hulk black to have him cover maxed, oh yeah and I need the Blade green from progression to have him cover maxed so I guess I will see you guys near/ at the top on my way to the legend token...my last 7 day event I was well over 150k in points so this is nothing...

    I just looked back at the thread from the last run of this event and the top 10 scores for the couple brackets that were mentioned were 150-165k. So 70k won't even require totally optimal grinds. Maybe optimal clears with no grind is how they set the number? :shrug:

    you are probably right because a lot of people do not play optimally, especially for the rewards being offered a lot of vets will "most likely" only play for the legend token

    I also believe most vets will take this PvE quite easy (which is a good thing for those who still need more Hulk covers). Since only top2 get 4* prize (Thing redflag.png) and rest is just Hulk covers I bet most players will be more than happy with that legendary token. When I get that final progression reward it's vacation time from The Hulk PvE for me. icon_e_wink.gif

    Last node on Nevada is a 395 Hulk....

    (Thought I was gonna have trouble, but luckily had him perma-stunned and just wore him down.)

    That is how you do it...I take him out with mmags cstorm and px...

    Side note from earlier, I pulled my fifth Hulk black from a token earlier so I may not hit this one so hard, guess I will see how it shakes out and if I have a shot at t1-2 for the extra Thing cover...

    iceman should be the next PVE so wont get a break

    Yeah, it's always a high-level Hulk there. High level can actually work in your favor though as he's slow to Anger.

    If can nick away at him without angering him.. works great.
