Your idea for reworking his yellow seems like a great one, so it is not an all or nothing thing on the heal and of course he needs more hp, but maybe the boost to green should be an increase to its board shake as much as the damage.0 -

I think xfw's yellow should be reworked as a passive like switch's blue. He autospawn's a CD tile thatbheales him or does damage if matched away (maybe only when latched by enemy). This would make his healing much better while still feeling different from other wolvie versions.
He should also get a bit more health (13k would be fine), and maybe some more damage at 5 green to make the choice of green v. Yellow harder.
(colossus' yellow should work the same way too, a passively spawning cd, perhaps once he collects a set amount of yelloe)0 -

I have to say, xfw was one of my more recent champs and I'd love a buff to him to bring him into the meta-group.0

I think he's OK as-is. Surgical Strike is still amazing. If he could be covered to 5/5/5 he'd be great. His biggest fault is that you can't use him with OML.0

I mentioned this elsewhere, but I'll repeat it in the proper thread.
Lucifer's recommended fixes for XFW:
* HP Increase to current 4 Star Regeneration. Or said plainly: raised to Deadpool/X-23 levels. Seriously. He has HP equivalent to self-regenerating characters, which is fine for Patch, Daken, and even OML. But Deadpool and Reed Richards, who both have True Heal, have more HP than Wolverine. X-23 (who is hands down the fastest healer in the game), has 14k. Deadpool levels. Needs it. He has to hide behind other people and his regen is inconsistent. Speaking of which.
* X-Force should allow the player to pick the target point. It's too random. I likely won't get this wish, but considering that it's under powered damage wise (compared to X-23, particularly), getting to select the center of the impact would be great.
* Regeneration. 5 Ranks in Regeneration should reduce the CDT to 2 turns. Not 1, that's a little insane (nothing heals that fast), but reducing it to 2 would still give people a chance to react and round out the ability so it's more reliable. This is Wolverine. Regeneration from the brink is kind of his thing. Second, the tile should have Deadpool rules associated with it: if destroyed, this tile will create the bomb/cascade damage effect. As it is, it's too easy to remove without risk. There are powers that do that (Rogers Shields, Yelena's thing, etc.), but being hit by Daisy, another XFW, etc., should all result in the tile read as destroyed and the effect counted.
* Surgical Strike needs to reduce the target's pool by the number of tiles destroyed. Yes, this will likely result in the old-school "empty the battery" from XFW 2.0, however, despite dealing very good damage (assuming 10 tiles on the board, 11 AP - 7810 damage is solid, but not spectacular) it doesn't have the 'oomph' of other top tier attack abilities. These include HB's infinite red, TGTs infinite stacking charge tiles, etc. Compare this to the 13 point (again, red) Out of Bullets and there's no comparison. It is a Black ability, but the feedback is that the tiles are removed for everyone. If you need that color, hope you have it before he throws it.
All of these combined will still not make Logan a dream machine, the best of the best, unstoppable or unbeatable. Note that it's still a Gen 2 style build, where he doesn't have any self-chaining abilities or internal synergy, but not all characters need that. What he has, and what he should retain, are those things in this fix that make him "Wolverine."
Enough durability to take a hit; A targeted strike where it hurts; Regen to keep fighting well past the point of exhaustion; a crippling strike that mangles his opponent. If this is the X-Force edition, then let him be tactical.

I had a 3/3/3 X-Force before Seasons even started. I'm on Day 787. I just pulled my 5th XF black TODAY. I did a quick count, and in that time, I've pulled 350 4* covers at a bare minimum, and probably over 400 with all the extra Elektras, Star-Lords, and IW yellows I had to sell. So it took me 2.5 calendar years, 750+ days of play, and ~400 4* tokens aquired, but finally, FINALLY, I have optimally covered the first 4* I ever drew. (My Invisible Woman is still 5/4/3... )0

My fixes for XFW would be to up the dmg on his green and make his yellow a passive as somebody mentions above.0

They could always have him passively generate the recovery countdown tile, improved healing but not too excessive.0 -
It would be awesome for XFW to be a relevant 4* again. Hopefully he'll get the buff he deserves soon0
