Next round in the node, I switched out Gamora for Carnage. Much slower, but nicer on the health packs.

Anything like: when you have a battle about to be done with almost no damage on your team and decide to finish it in two more moves just because, instead of using a damaging power. Then the AI gets a random 6-chain with a +5 and uses a full-team damage on you.

Opened 74 heroic tokens. Got 61 2*s, 11 3*s, and 2 4*s.
For 4*s, that's about 1 in 37 (as opposed to the advertised 1 in 14). For 3*s, that's about 1 in 7 (advertised 1 in 4).
And yea, I know it's RNG, but it still sucks.
(Also -- my long term statistics has shown me that over 1089 pulls, I have pulled only 63 4*s, or about 5.8% )

Forgetting about a Deadly Shot countdown stuck off in the bottom corner of the board and losing a nearly full health Ghost Rider in one go
Edit instead of double-posting: And one for the 5th: For some reason I thought that MEHulk (11 covers, soon to be 12) was needed for Jubilee's Shield Training instead of CHulk (only 5 covers, even after what I've picked up from the last event and vault). I thought this might be the first time I'd be able to get all the top part done, but nope.

Was in top 5 of Jubilee PVP with 5 minutes to go. Lost a match that brought me down to eighth. Found a match that would have given me enough points to finish in top 5, but ended up failing to finish the match on time by less than 10 seconds.0

Kept hoping to pull a last iceman or cloak and dagger to save my two expiring covers. Instead I got busy this morning, didn't get around to making pulls, and both covers expired with out me even getting the 2000 iso....d'oh!0

Opened 20 heroics yesterday: 14 2*, 6 3*, 1 bonus 3*. With those pulls i'm now at 100 consecutive heroic tokens without a single 4* (74 2*, 26 3*, 3 bonus 3*). RNG really seems to hate me :-(
BTW: My long term statistics: 1097 pulls and 57 4* (=5.2%).0 -
I was on track to be T10 in Meet R&G but 2 clears on a node screwed up my timing and I didn't finish all the clears. I got T12

On track for T10 in MR&G, and my ISP decides to pull the plug for network maintenance literally seconds before I sat down to do my clears. It came back with around 18 minutes left in the event, so I was able to save a top 50 finish in the sub and finish #16 overall.
But ye gods, that sucked.

Did a PvP fight, and had a very nice match-5 lined up... but when I tried to use it Another match was made instead, leaving the match-5 intact! The AI took it immediately, and the resulting Cascade lined up Another match-5 it used!
...after a lot of cascading, what should have been an easy win turned into a humiliating loss because the wrong match was made. I don't normally get upset with the game, but this almost made me scream out some bad Words...

First match of the Green Goblin required node, facing down Kingpin, 4-star Venom, and 3-star Doc Ock. By the second turn, thanks to Doc Ock matching the "Neutral" countdown tiles, I'm facing 808 damage in attack tiles each turn. Later on, my team of Green Goblin, Hawkguy and Star Lord (to counter the AP increase) has a bunch of fortified tiles on the board. Venom activates his Symbotic Fury, which sets up a match 4 of four *fortified* blue tiles. It destroys the row, but the four countdown tiles remain in the column. Another blue comes down, to not only destroy all four of the countdown tiles, but to give them a critical match as well. Oh, and those matches also triggered more attack tiles from Doc Ock. Whee!!!0

My Nico is at 2/5/5. Then I went and drew 2 yellow covers. Oh, well, I thought. At least I've got 2 weeks to see if I can pull a blue, and if not, I can wait to get 1000 HP to roster those two covers, level them a tad, and sell them for 4K.
My queue is now empty except for 1 purple and 4 yellow Nico covers.0 -
I'm playing round one of the PvE Simulator (SCL 7) and I get to the 4-star required node (Nightcrawler) and the opponents are 3Storm, Switch, and Iceman. I think, 'No problem, they're all squishy'. I grab boosted Riri and IM40, the best duo for handling these kinds of things, to go along with my champed Nightcrawler. I proceed to get crushed during my second clear!
I've never had my tinykitty handed to me so bad by a team 100 levels below me. Cascades had them swimming in AP and at two different points my entire team was stunlocked for 3-4 turns while Storm had every single non-TU tile filled with attacks. Every time Iceman would stun me, he'd match away his own blue countdown tile and then stun me again.
It was so comical how bad this match went in every possible way. Lady luck humbled me this day. But that's okay - Jessica Jones and 4clops had their revenge in the next clear.3 -
In Shield Simulator I find a juicy team of a champed 2* Storm, a champed 2* Wolverine and a unchamped 3* Magneto. I fight this team with champed 3* Iron Fist, 3* Cyclops and a 3* Magneto. In their FIRST turn, the AI got a ridiculous cascade that generates a lot of critical tiles that downed my Cyclops and left my Magneto below 50% health. On their second turn, they use their powers, down my IF and generate another ridiculous cascade and critics that downed my Magneto.
Listen, I know that we are not supposed to win but this is not understandable at all.0 -
I got yelled at so much by Jennifer Walters that it took way too long to do my final clear of the last node in Sub 1, so I didn't get points for it.

SHIELD Sim. I took on one of those omnipresent Medusa/Gamora/Rocket teams with my kill squad - Carol, XPool, Rocket.
And then watched an infernal turn 1 hell cascade blow my Rocket right off the board. 14K+ health, gone, and not a thing I could do about it. Another 4-5K off Carol before the cascade finally finished, too. There must've been at least 3 match-5s that were part of it.
Watching about 4 X-Enforcers resolve to send Medusa to Hades helped take the sting out of it at least, and I did get the win as Carol buffed my surviving Rocket tiles to the moon, but that was ridiculous.

If you had to lose someone the first turn, Grocket was the best possible choice. His main contribution is the strike tiles anyway, and those were already in position.1 -
